Long-term care insurance is a social insurance system that provides benefits to the elderly who have difficulty taking care of themselves for a period of at least 6 months. This system was started in July, 2008 and it is very important to set proper judgement ratings for the approval process. We try to develop and improve the judgement rating system using decision tree models. Our tree model is found to be more stable and efficient than the previous one.

Recently, most companies are speeding up the movement of modeling and strategically applying IDI (Integration Database Information). This is due to the fact that CRM (Customer Relationship Management) representing communication and relation maintenance with customers, has been raised one of the most important issues for companies. From this point of view, this study is to develop the scoring campaign system connect-ing customer scoring model to marketing layer through data mining techniques which are the core factor for CRM. This developed system makes users easily choose the target customers as well as easily obtain customer scoring results under GUI circumstances which helps users easily apply as a result.

본 연구에서는 저자가 소속되어 있는 대학에서의 입시평가를 위한 통계적 분석방법을 소개하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과가 입시분석에 관심이 있는 여러 대학에 작게나마 도움이 되었으면 한다. 본 연구에서 분석대상은 호서대학교 1997, 98, 99년도 입학생의 입학전형자료와 1997, 98년도 입학생의 평균평점(GPA) 자료 및 93년 고려대학교 5차 모의고사 자료이다. In this study, we present statistical methods for Admission Evaluation at Hoseo University. This study is aimed at giving help to interested universities in statistical aspects of admission evaluation. The first topic is on the item difficulty and discriminating power based on classical testing theory. The second topic is on the general statistical analysis of admission data. Third topic is on the predictive validity of admission indices referenced by the first-year GPA(grade point average).
