진동 폼롤러와 플로싱밴드 운동이 노인의 하지 근력 및 균형에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the effects of lower muscle strengthening and balance when vibration foam roll and flossing band exercises were performed for 4 weeks by the elderly. Methods: Twenty elderly participants, aged ≥ 65 years, were selected for this study. The participants were equally divided into two groups. Group A performed vibrating foam roll exercises. Group B performed flossing band exercises. Each group performed the respective exercises two times per week for 4 weeks and underwent measurements during muscle strength and timed up-and-go tests. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. An independent t test was used to determine the statistical differences between the groups, and a paired t-test was used to determine statistical differences within the groups. Statistical significance was determined at α =.05. Results: Both the vibration foam roll and flossing band exercise groups showed significant changes in muscle strength and balance in the knee flexors and extensors, ankle dorsi flexors, and ankle plantar flexors between the pre and post intervention values (p<.05). However, we found no significant differences between the two groups except for the knee extensor. Conclusion: In this study, both the vibrating foam roll and flossing band exercises were effective for improving various measures regarding muscle strength and balance.

우리나라의 도서관들은 21세기에 들어서 역동적인 변화를 추구하였는데 그 이유 중의 하나는 도서관관련 시민단체들이 꾸준히 시민의 입장에서 도서관 문제를 바라보고, 문제점을 도출해서 규명하구 이를 널리 사회에 전달하고 해결책에 대한 소통구조를 활성화 시켰기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 각각 학교도서관과 공공도서관 분야에서 우리나라의 대표적인 시민단체하고 할 수 있는 '학교도서관살리기국민연대'와 '책읽는사회만들기국민운동'의 활동을 분석하였다. 즉, 이들 단체의 역사, 활동 그리고 학교도서관과 공공도서관을 발전시키기 위해 정부와 어떻게 협력해 왔는지를 살펴보았다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 학교도서관과 공공도서관의 지속적인 발전 방안을 모색해 보고자 하였다. As we enter the 21st century. Korean libraries have embarked on a journey of change. The reason that libraries in Korea have sought to achieve dynamic changes is that various citizens' organizations have analyzed the issue from their point of view deduced the problem. conveyed this to the general public and thus revitalized the structure of mutual understanding in reaching a solution. The two most notable civilian organizations active in the Korean library area are 'the National Union for Revival of School Libraries' and 'the Citizen Action for Reading Culture'. This study examined the history and activities of these organizations and investigated how they worked with the central and local governments for improving school and public libraries and for promoting reading.
폼롤러와 진동 폼롤러 운동이 단기간 압통 역치와 수직점프의 변화

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the change on pressure pain threshold and vertical jump when foam roll exercises and vibration foam roll exercises. Methods: Participants were selected as having pain in at least three areas of the lower limbs and recording at least 5 points on the VAS. A total of thirty participants were divided into two groups equally, randomized into a foam roll exercises(n =15) and a vibration foam roll exercises(n =15). Both groups performed exercises for 45secs/five times and rest time 15secs. Pressure pain threshold, and vertical jump were all measured. Data was analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and an repeated measure ANOVA was used to find statistical differences within and between the two groups. The statistical significance was determined at α = .05. Results: Both foam roll and vibration foam roll had significant changes on pressure pain threshold and vertical jump among to pre and after 24hrs, 48hrs time. However, there was a no significant differences between both groups. Conclusion: Although there was a slight advantage to doing vibrated foam roll exercise than foam roll exercise.
스위스 볼(Swiss ball)을 이용한 6주간 등척성 운동이 허리 유연성, 근력 및 허리, 대퇴 둘레에 미치는 영향

In order to study the effect of the isometric exercises on the flexibility. the strength and the waist and hip circumferences, 10 female university students who aged 22.10 ${\pm}$ 1.10 years were measured by sit-up for strength, and trunk flexion test and trunk lifting for flexibility, and also measured by waist and hip circumferences before and during, and after the Swiss ball exercise program. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS/PC WIN 7.0 version. and one-way repeated ANOVA Test, The results of the test were as shown; We found that the number of performing sit-up was increased. and the trunk flexion test and trunk lifting was increased, and the waist and hip circumferences were increased after the 6 weeks Swiss ball exercise program. These findings indicate that Isometric exercise using Swiss ball could be beneficial to the low back pain patients due to the effect of increasing strength and flexibility of the patients.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of 8weeks of exercise station training with elastic band and swissball on body compositions and balance ability for elderly women. Methods: This study was designed as a experimental pre-post exercise station training evaluation. The experimental group performed exercises with band and ball for 8 weeks. The effects of the program were assessed using instruments measuring the body compositions and balance ability before and after participating in the training program. Results: There were no significant differences in body compositions and index of falling down risk, however, there were significant differences with balance index, functional reach test and one leg stand test. Conclusion: These findings suggest that exercise station training with elastic band and swissball can serve as an effective means of improving balance ability in elderly women.
불안정한 발판에서 4주 동안의 균형훈련이 균형능력과 발목관절 주변근육의 근전도 변화에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to strengthen a function of muscles near ankle joints and to show a method of exercising the muscles injured. The subjects were divided into 3 groups such as, AIREX group(n = 81, Air cushion group(n = 8), Posturomed group(n = 8) from healthy student in Kwangju Health college. During the training, these subjects putted their weights with recessiveness leg, and they put their arms on their chests, kept flexing their knee joints and their hip joints 90 degrees of an angle for 10 seconds. We carried out the traing 10 times a set, 3 sets a day and 5 times a week. We checked the balance ability before and after the training and compared the muscle activity with sEMG. Groups applied AIREX, Aircushion, Posturomed had differences according to the balance ability. We compared the muscle activity of muscles near ankle joints so we can be aware of that tibialis anterior was decreased at AIREX, tibialis posterior was decreased at Air cushion, peroneus longus was decreased at Posturomed. gastro- nemius's muscle activity was increased altogether at a foothold by an operation of flexion of knee joints. Doing balance training at an unstable foothold can have an effect on strenthening the muscles near ankle joints and increasing the balance ability by stimulating the proprioceptor.
