HD 해상도 스테레오 영상 카메라 구현과 거리 인식 응용

3D 입체 영상을 만들어 내기 위해서는 사람의 오른쪽 눈과 왼쪽 눈의 역할을 하는 양안 카메라가 필요하다. 즉, 왼쪽과 오른쪽 두 대의 카메라로부터 입력되는 영상을 합치는 3차원 영상 처리를 통하여 입체 영상으로 만들어내 는 과정을 거치게 된다. 본 논문에서는 HD 해상도를 가지는 스테레오 영상 카메라 구현을 위하여 두 대의 고해상도 줌 카메라로부터 입력되는 영상데이터를 스테레오 영상 포맷으로 변환하는 알고리즘을 FPGA를 통하여 실시간으로 동작하도록 구현하였다. 또한 생성된 스테레오 영상으로부터 좌우 영상간의 물체의 위치 차이를 계산하여 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. Two cameras which function like human eyes, are needed to make 3D stereoscopic image. That is, stereoscopic image is made via 3 dimensional image processing for combining two images from left and right camera. In this paper two high resolution zoom cameras are used to make HD resolution stereoscopic camera. And the algorithm which convert to stereoscopic image from HD resolution zoom camera image, is implemented using FPGA for real-time operation. The algorithm which measure the depth of object between left and right image is proposed.

HDcctv 표준 인증을 충족하는 HD-SDI 영상카메라의 설계

동축 케이블에 영상, 음성, 데이터 등을 전송할 수 있는 SDI(Serial Digital Interface) 기술을 카메라에 적용 한, HD-SDI 카메라는 다양한 SDI 장치 및 제품들과의 호환성이 중요하다. 즉, 각각의 SDI 장치 및 제품들이 표준을 준수하여 호환성을 유지해야 상호간 동작에 문제가 없게 된다. 현재, HDcctv Alliance에서는 각각의 SDI 장치 및 제 품들을 특성별로 구분하여 그에 따른 표준을 정해 놓았다. 각각의 SDI 장치 및 제품들이 상호간의 올바른 동작을 하 기 위해서 각각의 표준을 준수하면서 제품을 만드는 것은 중요하다. 본 논문에서는, HDcctv 표준을 준수하는 카메라 시스템을 구현하였으며, HDcctv 표준에 따라 설계를 하여, HDcctv Alliance의 인증을 받기 위한 모든 데이터를 측정 하여 표준에 맞는 결과를 얻었다. The SDI technology can transmit video, audio and control data with a coaxial cable. The compatibility of HD-SDI Camera is very important. The SDI devices and products without compliance problem are able to guarantee interaction. The HDcctv Alliance has released the standard by classifying the attributes of the SDI devices and products. It is important for each SDI devices and products to keep the compatibility of this standard. In this paper, the camera system that comply with the HDcctv Standard was implemented. In order to receive certification of HDcctv Alliance, the experiment was performed and the satisfied result was gained.

한국 디지털콘텐츠산업의 글로벌경쟁력 강화 방안에 관한 연구

According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, by 2006, almost half of the U.S. workforce will be employed by industries that are either major producers or intensive users of information technology products(digital contents) and services. The advent of a digital era increased the importance of digitalized contents on culture, education, medicare and other ares of our daily lives. As a high value-added industry with '0' marginal cost, digital contents are key to maximizing added vale in mobile communications, DTV, home network and other growth engines. The digital contents which has creativeness has been protected by the Copyright Act in Korea. However, the contents which was not creative could not have been protected so far on the ground that it lacks creativeness, one of the prerequisite for copyright protection, even though the industry invested much time and effort in digitalizing the contents. Considered these situations, the Ministry of Information and Communication Republic of Korea initiated to enact a law to protect digital contents provides and to promote digital contents industries. The newly enacted law, which is to enter into force on the 15th of July 2002, protects digital contents provides on the basis of unfair competition rules rather than giving them rights of Intellectual Property Rights holders. Online Digital Contents Industry Promotion Act is an essential further proposal to address the fastest-growing segment of our national economy in this information age.
