        동아시아 무역네트워크의 발전 방향에 관한 연구

        지역주의로 대표되는 최근 국제무역의 경향에 따라. 동아시아 지역은 2000년 이후 지역주의 공백지역에서 벗어 나 FTA를 매개로 경제공동체 창설을 위한 논의가 진행되고 있다. 국제무역환경의 변화에 따라 국가간 무역네트 워크는 빠르게 고도화되고 있는데 수출주도적 경제구조를 가지고 있는 한국은 세계시장의 변화에 민감하다. 동아시아 지역에서는 G2(미국, 중국) 간의 정치적, 경제적 경쟁이 치열해지고 있으며 이는 향후 아시아 무역질 서의 향배를 결정할 수 있는 동인이 될 것이다. 최근 중국이 주도하고 있는 지역내 경제협정인 RCEP, 미국 주도 의 다자간 자유무역협정인 TPP가 추진됨으로 인해 동아시아 무역네트워크의 변화가 예상되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 지정학적, 경제적으로 동아시아 FTA 경쟁의 중심에 위치하고 있는 한국이 동아시아 무역네트 워크의 변화와 발전에 적응하고 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해서는 지역내 무역환경 변화를 주도하는 TPP와 더불어 동아시아 경제통합을 지향하는 RCEP에 적극적으로 참여하여야 할 것이다.

        개방형혁신 추진에 따른 기업네트워킹과 글로벌소싱 전략에 관한 연구

        글로벌 무한경쟁으로 인해 기업들은 최소한의 비용으로 최대한의 고객가치를 창출하고, 다른 기업과 차별화된 경쟁우위를 확보하기 위하여 품질 및 가격경쟁력의 강화와 경영프로세스의 개선을 통해 핵심역량(core competence)을 강화하기 위하여 전력을 다하고 있다. 최근 기업의 계속기업 영위를 위한 혁신의 방법으로 개방형혁신(open innovation)이 주목받고 있다. 개방형혁신은 기술의 혁신 동력을 기업네트워크 상에 있는 외부기업 및 학계 등에서 다양한 방법론을 통하여 조직 내부로 흡수하는 시스템을 강조한 개념으로, 최근 기업의 계속기업 영위와 성장을 위한 R&D 역량강화의 수단으로 주목받고 있는 개념이다. 본 연구에서는 개방형혁신에 관해 문헌연구를 통해 이론적으로 정리하고 글로벌기업의 사례연구를 통해 기업네트워킹과 글로벌소싱 현황을 살펴보고 개방형혁신 정도를 살펴보았다. 연구결과 글로벌기업은 수많은 기업네트워크의 개방형혁신을 통한 글로벌소싱 전략을 계속기업의 영위를 위한 핵심역량으로 삼고 추진하는 것이 성패의 방향타가 되고 있다는 점을 알 수 있었다.

        새만금 항만물류 클러스터 구축에 관한 연구

        The recent growth of China's economy and its ports has been conducive to the development of Korea's West Coast regions as a result of a sharp rise in the size of the Pan-Yellow Sea Economic Bloc and its trading volumes. With the supply chain between Korea and China taking shape, establishing a pan-Yellow Sea distribution system has become a top priority. As a result, the government is making many investments, while improving business environments. From a geographical perspective, the Saemangeum area, the target of this study, is located at the center of the Pan Yellow Economic zone, which has a population of 1.5 billion and accounts for 17.5% of the world's GDP. To spur the growth of industrial complexes in the immediate vicinity of New Saemangeum Port and Gunsan Port, regional characteristics, visions for development projects, connectivity with complexes in the proximity, and so on must be taken into account prior to determining growth directions for businesses within the complexes. New Saemangeum Port and Gunsan Port must be equipped with large-scale industrial complexes in the vicinity and large-scale multi-functional, integrated international distribution center that are capable of distributing, processing, and warehousing goods. In particular, the strengthening of port distribution clusters and competitiveness of the ports must be achieved by advancing distribution management systems based on business-friendly policies, such as providing various incentives, and attracting global logistics companies.

        지속가능 무역네트워크 구축을 위한 GVC 고도화 및 기업 고유의 우위에 관한 서설적 연구

        In this study, based on the concept of ‘GVC upgrading' proposed by Humphrey, J., & Schmitz, H. (2002) to establish a sustainable trade network, it analyzes each stage of upgrading (process/product/functional/value chain). Furthermore, based on the research of Rugman, A. M., & Verbke, A. (2004), it presents a research model that can finally analyze the causal relationship between leadership and competitiveness in GVC due to export and investment expansion. The goal is to present strategies that enable Korean companies to secure competitiveness to continuously produce and supply within GVC, potentially arising from political, diplomatic, and economic interests with various countries, or to establishment of a sustainable trade network without shaking their leadership and position even in the current GVC reorganization situation. To date, theories and concepts have been introduced based on previous studies related to GVC at home and abroad, and a research model for immediate and continuous reference by the government and companies has been developed. In order to achieve more practical and situational research, a systematic research model that has not been done in previous related studies was established by introducing key theories, the latest major cases, and factors that can measure the global capabilities of companies.

      • The Relationship Between Sustainability, SCM Performance, and Financial Performance of Korean SMEs

        Purpose – This study carried out an empirical study of the impact of sustainability – which has been gaining attention as challenges are arising in supply chains based on existing trade networks due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic – on SCM performance and financial performance of Korean SMEs. The study seeks to propose a measurement model to enhance the SCM performance and financial performance of Korean SMEs and to identify the relationship between sustainability, SCM performance and financial performance to suggest implications to SMEs, governments, and relevant organizations. Design/methodology – Our Analysis established hypotheses that economic sustainability, environmental sustainability, and other factors related to sustainability have a positive impact on SCM performance and financial performance as well as SCM performance has a positive impact on financial performance, making empirical validations by utilizing Structural Equation Modeling based on data collected through survey from Korean SMEs. Findings – According to an empirical study, although environmental sustainability and economic sustainability among factors of sustainability had a positive influence on SCM performance, social sustainability did not have a statistically significant influence. Furthermore, it was learned that only economic sustainability had a positive influence on financial performance while SCM performance has a positive influence on financial performance. Originality/value – This empirical study explored the relationship between SCM performance and financial performance of Korean SMEs with a high tendency to depend on specific supply chains when the international trade network is in confusion and/or the global supply chain has collapsed. If Korean SMEs allocate management resources to the factors deducted from this study, they would be able to build more efficient supply chains and improve financial performance to improve sustainability

        일본의 해양안전보장에 관한 연구

        The recent maritime safety concerns such as piracy issues in Somalia and Southeast Asian waters and territorial disputes in East Asia have been added to the public interest in Maritime Safety and Security. This study aimed to identify the latest developments in securing marine safety in Japan which has been embroiled in territorial disputes with Korea. According to this study, Japan has taken a "coalition of the willing" approach in terms of Maritime Safety and Security. In addition, with a new ocean era looming large, Japan is putting its effort into legal, systematic, and political rearrangements by establishing the Basic Act on Ocean Policy and the Basic Plan on Ocean Policy in response to new environmental changes. The Japan Coast Guard, tasked with Maritime Safety and Security, performs its duties by dealing with piracy and pollution prevention issues with supports from sufficient budgets and equipment supplies. It is thought that the directions suggested in this study for Maritime Safety and Security could be used for obtaining political implications if they are applied after being identified by the Korean government and related industries.

        국제복합운송 실제운송인의 기업이미지, 고객가치, 고객충성도의 관계에 관한 실증연구

        While the globalization of logistics such as procurement logistics, product production and sales logistics has been being accelerated as the global competition is infinitely increasing, special attention is being paid to the international multimodal transport linking maritime transport, air transport and others. In this study, an empirical analysis was conducted to investigate the relationship among corporate image, customer value and customer loyalty of the international intermodal actual carrier. As the result of the study, it could be realized through the verification of the Hypothesis 1 that the corporate behavior image and the social action image of three factors comprising the corporate image give a positive effect on the customer loyalty, but the corporate contribution image does not indicate a statistically significant effect on the customer loyalty, which says that the factors comprising the corporate behavior image and the social behavior image give affection on the evaluation of the customer value of the international freight forwarder. In addition, through the verification of Hypothesis 2, this study clarified that the relationship between the customer value and the customer loyalty is in effect. Through this study, the corporate image promotion factors, customer value and customer loyalty will be able to be managed effectively.

        중소기업의 공급사슬 위험관리와 회복력에 관한 연구

        한국의 중소기업은 글로벌 공급사슬을 통해 원자재, 중간재를 조달했으나 코로나19 등으로 큰 타격을 입어 공급사슬 위험관리와 회복력이 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 문헌연구와 기업 사례연구를 수행하였는데, 연구결과 각자의 기업에 맞는 비전을 수립하여 이를 전략적으로 추구하고, 준비된 BCP 프로세스와 정교한 감사프로그램을 수행했을 때 공급사슬 위험을 줄일 수 있었다. 민첩성을 높이고 다양화, 로컬화, 재고 보유량 증가 등의 방안을 상황에 따라 유연하게 적용한다면 회복력이 강한 공급사슬을 구축할 수 있을 것이다. 한국의 중소기업이 포스트 코로나 시대를 맞아 글로벌 공급사슬을 새로 구축하면서 본 연구에서 정리된 요인을 활용하면 보다 효율적인 공급사슬 체계를 완성할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Since the global supply chains are networked around the world according to industries and products, SMEs are requried to employ them to secure their competitiveness. Supply chain risk management is a management method that aims to prevent uncertain risks and reduce the impact of risks on business activities. Especially, it is essential for small-size enterprises to build sustainable supply chains. Resilience refers to the ability of a company to sustain a vision, contribute to its stakeholders, recover negative impacts economically and psychologically, and lead to sustainable growth under the crisis or disruptions. Resilience has regraded as an effective tool of managing supply chain risks and as a success factor in reducing or avoiding external risks. South Korean SMEs procured most of their raw materials and intermediary goods through the global supply chain. However, the recent coronavirus pandemic has severely disrupted the global supply chain, drawing attention to supply chain risk management and resilience. The relevant literature reviews and business case studies reveal that the companies who pursued their vision strategically reduced supply chain risk by implementing BCP processes and precise auditing programs to achieve supply chain resilience capability. Also, to be resilient, the companies require a flexible approach for agility, diversification, localization, and increased inventory turns. South Korean SMEs can equip an effective risk management system and supply chain resilience when organizations employ the success factors stressed in this research while establishing an appropriate global supply chain network that fits the company’s strategy under the current COVID environment.
