      • 船舶內에서 筋力(筋持久力) 向上을 위한 效率的인 運動類型 開發에 關한 硏究

        The crew on board need strong physical and spiritual strength and more necessity of exercise than those on land, but they usually find it difficult to carry out various types of exercise owing to lack of sporting equipment and facilities. Inboard exercise can be done besides the terrible ship rolling which has a great effect on physical strength exercise. The purpose of this paper is to suggest to the crew on board method and pattern of exercise for the improvement of their strength and endurance, and to enable the crew to make use of the suggested exercise. and finally to make it possible for them to improve their physical and to lead a healthy lives. For the improvement of the crew's strength and endurance, istonic and ismetric training were carried out. This paper suggests an exercise pattern with the application of the overload principle in order to strengthen physical power and endurance through the is tonic training. On the other hand, this paper also suggests an exercise pattern with and without sporting equipment so as to resist with maximum strength or to train to the best of physical ability with light overload through the isometric training. Finally, this paper tries to provide six training programs that allow complex training affer individual training. According to the given programs, the crew must carry out training more than three or four times a week and check the degree of the improvement of endurance during the period of training. The programs are also designed to let the crew know about stress of exercise through the check of the individual's changes in heartbeat rate while trainging and to intensify the function of the cardiorespiratory by increasing the hearbeat rate 60 or 70 times during the training more that of the state of rest.

        원양항해 전과 후 선원의 혈액 및 소변의 생화학적 분석

        H대학 실습선 28명의 선원에 대하여 40일간 장기간 항해 전과 후의 혈액과 소변의 생화학적 분석을 실시하였다. 원양 후 부원 및 모든 연령에서 요소질소와 요산수치(creatine 및 uric acid) 가 증가된 것으로 보아 선상생활이 신장의 기능을 나쁘게 하거나 기능저하를 초래했다고 판단되어진다. 또 총콜레스테롤(TC)과 고밀도지단백콜레스테롤(HDL-C) 및 저말도지단백콜레스테롤(LDL-C)은 원양 전보다 후에 유의하게 감소한 반면에 중성지방(TG)은 유의하게 상승하였다. 연령별로는 TC와 HDL-C가 30대, 40대에서 유의하게 감소하였고,TG는 30대가 유의하게 증가하였는데 특히 30대에서 몇몇 선원에 대해서는 원양 후 TG의 높은 증가를 보여 고지혈증이 의심되고 있다. 또한 소변검사에서도 간세포성 기능 및 신장기능의 이상을 진단하는 담즙색소(UBG) 와 요단백(PRO) 에서 장기간 항해 전과 후 모두 양성반응이 나타난 선원이 각각 7명과 5명이었다. 특히 우로빌리노겐(Urobilinogen: UBG) 에서 양성반응이 크게 증가하여 한 달간 원양을 통하여 간세포성기능이 저하되었거나 이상이 갔음을 보여주고 있다. Urinalyses have been conducted for 28 crew's in H University's training ship and creatine and uric acid turned out to be higher in all ages: which can be inferred that board job has caused negative impact on kidney and/or malfunction In addition, TC and HDL-C, LDL-C has decreased, however TG has increased after the navigation All different positions, including officer, crew, decker, engineer and radio part showed the similar pattern TC and HDL-C has decreased in 30s, 40s and TG has increased in 30s. A few of the 30's show extremely high TG rates so hyperlipidemia is suspected. 7 members turned out positive for UBG test and 5 positive for PRO test. Especially there was only one UBG positive before the navigation but, 7 members has become positive, which means the one-month long-term navigation has definite impact on the liver cell function.

        해양레저스포츠 인프라 구축에 관한 기초연구

        국민소득의 증가와 주5일 근무제의 확대적용, 3면이 바다이고 내륙에 비교적 많은 강과 하천이 분포되어 있는 지리환경적 여건으로 인해 쉽게 접할 수 있는 수상레저에 많은 관심이 주어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 수상레저사업자, 장비제조업자, 관련단체 및 동호인을 대상으로 설문 및 현장방문 조사를 통하여 수집한 자료를 분석하고 사업체의 형태 및 애로사항 등의 실태를 파악한다. 이 자료들을 근거로 수상레포츠 활성화 및 발전을 위한 산업기반시설 구축방안을 제안한다. The data were collected from the water sports industries, resort owners, equipment manufactures and the associations. The inquiry and data collection were made by visiting the corresponding facilities. Based on these data, the plan for infra construction of water leisure sports were proposed.

        상선승무원들의 질병실태 조사

        상선승무원들의 승선근무로 인한 질병 발생 실태를 조사하여 승선근무로 인해 발생되는 질병예방 및 건강증진을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위한 목적으로 1049명의 상선승무원들을 대상으로 설문 및 면접을 통해 조사 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 최근 12개월 동안 승선 중 당직근무에 지장을 받을 정도의 질병을 경험한 선원은 69.0%였으며, 질병경험분포에 유의성을 나타낸 변수는 연령(p<0.05), 소득수준(p<0.01), 승선경력(p<0.01), 직급(p<0.01), 건강인식도(p<0.01), 건강염려도(p<0.01), 피로도(p<0.01), 직업만족도(p<0.05), 휴식시간(p<0.05) 등이었으며, 질병경험은 치주질환 7.3%>무좀 6.6%>위궤양 6.4%>외상 5.3% 순이었다. 질병군별 질병발생은 근골격계질환이 17.8%로 가장 많았고 구강계질환 13.6%> 피부계질환 12.4%> 소화계질환 12.1% 순이었으며, 발생 질병의 불편기간은 31일 이상이 35.7%, 입원기간과 치료기간은 각각 7일 이하가 50.2%, 42.8%였고 의료시설 이용은 의원급이 27.9%로 가장 높게 조사되었다. The purpose of this study was to find out morbidity rate and pattern of disease and affect of variables related disease and medical management of seafares'. The subjects this study were 1049 seafares' were took education in Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology. This questionnaire was focused on finding the basic data for prevention of disease and promotion health for the seafares'. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Chi-square, cross tab, linear regression by SPSS 10.1 package. The result of this study are as follow. 1)The morbidity rate within recent 12 months was 69.0%. 2)there were significant differences qf occurred disease in age(p<0.05), income(p<0.01), career of ship on board(p<0.01), rank(p<.01), perceived health status(p<0.01), worry of health(p<0.01), fatigue symptoms(0.01), satisfy of job(p<0.05), rest time(p<0.05) 3) Considering disease unable to work more than 4 hour, the number of those who had oral disease 7.3%> tinea 6.6%> gastric ulcer 6.4, and musculoskeletal disease group were 20.9%, which revealed the highest rate oral disease 13.6%> skin disease> 12.4%, digestive disease> 12.1%. 4) As refer to medical management, The pain above 31days 35.7%, hospitalization and treatment below 7days were each 50.2%, 42.8%, medical service were doctor's office 27.9, which revealed the highest rate.

      • 소규모 어항 개발을 통한 해양레저 관광 활성화 방안

        The purpose of this study is to present common problems of a fishing port, cases of developed countries, and an active plan on the basis of the end of March, 2004 to seek an active plan of marine leisure tourism on the development of a fishing port due to enacting a law of a fishing port by Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. This study used records and delphi analysis as a research method. It includes books and papers published by domestic and foreign countries, data of Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Culture & Tourism, local self-government, and National Statistical Office, and journals of research organizations concerned. And the results of this study are the following. Firstly, it needs to alleviate many regulations of a law of a fishing port. Secondly, it needs to develop various seasonal programs. Thirdly, it needs to build Digital Information Infrastructure of marine leisure tourism. Fourthly, it needs to develop an environment harmony port. Fifthly, it needs to train an expert manpower of marine leisure tourism by national level. Sixthly, it needs to improve an understanding of fishermen and citizens about marine leisure tourism. Seventhly, it needs to invest a capital by the third sector in developing a fishing port.

        붉은싸리버섯 추출물의 항산화 및 Human Neutrophil Elastase 저해활성

        천연자원으로부터 항노화 화장품 신소재를 탐색하던 중, 국내 자생버섯의 일종인 붉은싸리버섯 자실체 추출물이 항산화 활성과 인체 호중구 엘라스타제 저해활성이 우수함을 확인하고 일련의 연구를 수행하였다. 붉은싸리버섯 추출물의 DPPH 라디칼 소거활성은 붉은싸리버섯 추출물 500 μ g/mL 처리시 117.0 mg/mL (ascorbic acid 환산값)의 매우 우수한 소거활성을 나타냈다. Peroxy 라디칼 소거활성을 oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) assay 를 통하여 측정한 결과 붉은싸리버섯 추출물 1, 10, 20 μ g/mL 처리 시, 각각 0.8, 5.2, 7.8 ORAC<sub>Roo</sub> (trolox equivalents, 1 μ M)로 농도 의존적으로 높은 소거활성을 나타냈다. 뿐만 아니라 cellular antioxidant capacity를 DCF fluorescence intensity (% of control)로 조사한 결과에서도 붉은싸리버섯 추출물 20 μ g/mL 처리시 약 30% 이상 높은 항산화 활성을 나타냈다. Human neutrophil elastase 저해활성은 농도 의존적으로 저해활성을 나타냈으며 특히 에탄올 추출분획에서 ED<sub>50</sub> 값은 42.9 μ g/mL이었다. 붉은싸리버섯 추출물은 Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis), Escherichia coli (E. coli), Candida albicans (C. albicans), Aspergillus oryzae (A. oryzae) 균주 모두에서 항균활성은 나타나지 않았다. 또한 염증성 cytokine인 interleukin-10 및 interferon-γ (IFN-γ)의 생산 또는 분비 조절에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 붉은싸리버섯 추출물은 항산화활성과 elastase 저해활성을 우수하여 피부에 자극이 없는 항노화 화장품 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. In searching for novel agents for skin anti-aging from natural resources, we found that the extract of the fruiting bodies of Ramaria formosa (R. formosa) had significant antioxidant and human neutrophil elastase (HNE) inhibitory activities. R. formosa extract exhibited a considerable DPPH radical scavenging activity with an antioxidant content of 117.0 mg/mL (ascorbic acid equivalents) at the concentration of 500 μg/mL. The capacity of R. formosa extract to scavenge peroxy radicals measured by ORAC assay also showed dose-dependent antioxidant effect with ORAC<sub>Roo</sub> (trolox equivalents, 1 μM) values of 0.8, 5.2, and 7.8 at the concentrations of 1, 10, and 20 μg/mL. The cellular antioxidant capacity of R. formosa extract was investigated by assaying the cellular fluorescence intensity using dichlorodihydrofluorescein (DCF). The cellular oxidative stress induced by AAPH, Cu<sup>2+</sup> or H2O2 in HepG2 cells was significantly attenuated by more than 30% at 20 μg/mL of R. formosa extract. HNE activity was reduced by treatment with R. formosa extract in a dose-dependent manner, and the ED<sub>50</sub> value for the ethanol extract of R. formosa was 42.9 μg/mL. R. formosa extract did not exhibited antimicrobial activity against four microorganisms including Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis), Escherichia coli (E. coli), Candida albicans (C. albicans), Aspergillus oryzae (A. oryzae). Furthermore, the extract did not affect the inflammatory cytokine production of interleukin-10 and interferon-γ in NK92 cells. From the above results, we found that R. formosa extract has considerable antioxidant and elastase inhibitory effects, and does not stimulate immune cells. These findings suggest that R. formosa extract may be used as a bioactive component in cosmetic composition.
