로타바이러스는 영아와 어린아이들에게서 전염성 장염을 일으키는 가장 흔한 원인으로 알려져 있으며, 연간 1억 1100만명 이상에서 설사를 야기하는 것으로 나타났다. 대부분의 환자들은 특별한 증상이 없거나, 경한 발열, 구토 비출혈성 설사를 경험하며, 증상은 종종 수일 이내에 호전된다. 그러나 몇몇 환자들은 괴사성장염, 장중첩증, 경련, 뇌염, 담즙 정체 같은 중한 합병증을 경험하기도 한다. 저자들은 로타바이러스 감염과 연관된 직접 빌리루빈혈증 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Rotavirus is the most common cause of infectious gastroenteritis in infants and young children and estimated to cause more than 111 million cases of diarrhea annually. Most patients show no specific symptom or experience mild fever, vomiting, non-bloody diarrhea and symptoms often resolve within several days. However, some of patients suffer from severe complication such as necrotizing enterocolitis, intussusception, seizure, encephalitis, and cholestasis. We report a neonatal case of rotavirus infection presenting with reversible direct hyperbilirubinemia with a brief review of associated literatures.
Diesel-Diglyme 混合燃料가 디젤엔진의 性能에 미치는 影響

While the amount of diesel engine is increasing, the harmful exhaust emission is regarded as one of the main causes of environment pollution. In this study, by using reformulated diesel fuel mixed with the oxygenate Diglyme in various ratios, the effects of the reformulations on engine's output performance and exhaust emission have been shown. The reformulated fuel mixed with oxygenate Diglyme shows an increase in output power while CO and SMOKE were lowered by using the regular diesel fuel. By applying the mixed Diglyme fuel to diesel engine, in general, some reduction of harmful exhaust emission could be achieved without any significant change of the output efficiency of the engine.

Tuberous sclerosis is a complex neurocutaneous disease inherited as an autosomal dominant pattern, which is characterized by facial angio-fibroma, mental retardation and seizures. Many cases have been reported in the literatures, but familial cases are relatively rare. We present 9 cases of tuberous sclerois occuring througb 3 generations, which are 3 cases of angiofibroma, mental retardation and seizures, 2 cases of facial angiofibroma and seizures, 1 case of mental retardation and seizures and 3 cases who showed facial angiofibroma only. Two brothers in this family reveald icthyosis vulgaris without tuberous sclerosis.

The Effect of four diesel with oxygenated agents fuels on spray properties from plain-onfice atomizer was investigated. The oxygenates evaluated were diglyme, MTBE, DMM and were blended in weights of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30% in a baseline diesel fuel. The physical properties such as surface tension, density and viscosity are also measured for each blended oxygenated fuels. It was found that in physical properties of fuels considered are enough to influence spray properties, i.e. spray angle, spray tip penetration and mean drop size. Spray properties were measured by PMAS(particle motion analysis system) which is employing a point measurement technology. Spray angle increased with increase in oxygenate content. The effect, however, was not great in the higher blend level. The oxygenated fuels produced more shorter spray tip penetration than diesel fuels. SMD was decreased with the increase in blending percent. SMD for DMM and DEE are represented 10.33 and 3.41% decreasing rates respectively. It found that changes in spray characteristics of oxygenated fuel were easily large enough to impact pollutant emissions. It was clear fern this study fat spray characteristics of oxygenated fuel is one of possible cause of reducing pollutant emissions form diesel engines when oxygenated fuels is applied.
분무선단 관통거리 예측모델의 Diesel 과 DME 분무에 대한 적합성

The prediction of spray penetration is of considerable practical importance in many fields such as diesel and gasoline direct injection engines. Many researchers have suggested the various correlations for spray penetration in diesel engines. In this study, five different correlations for spray penetration were selected. Detailed comparisons between different models for spray penetration and experimental results were conducted. High pressurized diesel fuel and DME were used for the validation of selected models. As a results the general format of spray penetration models will be proposed.

Dimethyl Ether(DME) has been known as a very promising alternative oxygenate fuel, which gives low emissions and good economy in the application to direct injection Diesel engine. In this study, spray characteristics such as spray angle, spray tip penetration of DME in common rail injection system were investigated with the single hole nozzle with orifice diameter of 0.2, 0.3, 0.4mm and with the variation of ambient pressure of 0.6, 1.0 and 1.5MPa.<br/> The spray characteristics were measured by PMAS(Particle Motion Analysis System) which is employing a point measurement technology. The spray angle measured at both 30do from the nozzle tip increased with the increase in the ambient pressure. An increase in the ambient pressure results in a decrease of spray tip penetration of DME. The experimental results of spray tip penetration were compared with the calculated one from the empirical correlations. The experimental results of spray tip penetration were coincident with the calculated one with Wakuri et al.'s correlation based on the momentum theory

Dimethyl Ether(DME) has been to be a very promising alternative oxygenate fuel, which gives low emissions and good economy in the application to direct injection Diesel engine.<br/> Spray characteristics such as spray angle, penetration and Sauter mean daimter of DME in common rail injection system is investigated with the single hole nOZ7Je with orifice diameter 0.4mm and with the variation of ambient pressure.<br/> The experimental results of spray tip penetration was not coincident with that of the empirical equation suggested by Hiroyasu et al. Spray angle increased with the increase in the ambient pressure. Spray tip penetration was not affected by the injection duration time. The measured at 60do and 80do from the nozzle tip revealed in the range of 1.6-1.8??. There was no effect of ambient pressure on SMD. The development of correlation for the spray tip penetration of DME spray is required.<br/>

DME is known as an excellent alternative fuel that provides low particulate matter(PM) than diesel fuel under same engine operating conditions. Spray characteristics of Diesel and DME fuel in common rail injection system were investigated within the high pressure chamber by using the particle motion analysis system. The injector used in this study have single hole with the different orifice diameter of 0.2, 0.3 and O.4mm. The injection pressure was<br/> fixed at 35MPa and the ambient pressure were varied from 0.6 to 1.5MPa Macroscopic spray characteristics such as spray angle and spray penetration were measured.<br/> Same trends is obtained both Diesel and DME fuel for spray angle and spray penetration at all used orifice diameter. As ambient pressure is increased, spray angle is increase but spray penetration is decreased. Spray angle was measured at 30d_0 downstream of the nozzle tip for DME ,and 60d_0 downstream of the nozzle tip for Diesel fuel.
