      • 準備運動으로서의 Overload practice가 大學生들의 뛰기運動 遂行에 미치는 效果

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of overload practice as a preliminary exercise on jumping performances and to determine the proper overload for the performances. Two experiments were Carried out. For the 1st experiment 160 college students (male=80, female=80) were selected, and for the 2nd one 80 (male=40, female=40) of those were selected. In the 1st experiment the subjects were devided into 4 groups (4 male groups, 4 female groups). Different prescriptions were given to them; a 5 minutes general warm-up to the group Ⅰ, 15 knee bend to the chest jumps wearing the weight vest with 10% of body weight to the group Ⅱ, only 15 knee bend to the chest jumps without weight to the group Ⅲ, and no warm-up to the group Ⅳ, Before and after the prescribed exercise ; vertical Jump and standing broad jump test were used to measure the effect of prescribed exercise on jumping power. The nonequivalent control group design was used for the 1st experiment and the control group design was used for the 1st experiment. In the 2nd experiment, all subjects were tested, according to the counter balanced dosign, by the same test as the 1st experments after doing the given overload practice. The overload practice was made up of the times of knee bend to the chest jump and the attached weight indicaled as a penentage of the body weight. The results were s follows. 1. The general warm-up was the most beneficial to both male and female students, while the over load practice was beneficial only to the male, and none of the others to both. 2. After doing 15 knee bend to the chest jumps with 10% of body weight, the improvement was made to 2.4cm(3.9%) at the significance level p<0.005 in the men's vertical jump and to 5.0cm(2.0%) at the significance level p<0.001 in the men's standing broad jump. 3. The 15 knee bend to the chest jumps with 10% of body weight was also the most beneficial to the men's jumping performences in the 4 overload practices.

      • 一部 小都市 地域의 公私立別 初中高生의 體格과 體格指數에 關한 硏究

        The study is based on the simple random sampling of 4232 elementary, middle, and high school students(Man 2115, Woman 2117) in areas of Gunsan-city. It was separated public and private schools in four terms of body height, body weight, chest-girth, sitting-height for their physical growth and development. Resuets of this study are as follows; 1. The physical growth and development. In the physical growth and development, some increasing was appeared from 6 years old to 18 years-old.(body height, body weight, chest-girth, sitting-height). But the difference of sex groups has been observed from 10 years old to 13 years old. In the comparison with public and private school, the private schools students were superior to the public school students in the groups of elementary schools. But in the groups of middle-high-school, it was contrast. In the other and, the rate of growth was lower than elementary-middle-high schools students in the metropolitan(EX; Seoul) 2. Physique Index In Relative body weight, it was founded that the man was 35 and the woman was 33. Just as the same as physique, the private school students were superior to the public school students in groups of elementary school students. Contrarily, In groups of middle-high-school of public school students were superior to private school students. As for Relative chest-girth it is small in the age of 6-16 for boys and 6-13 for girls, but when they are 14, respectively, it become normal. In this case the girls grows 3 years faster than the boys. As for Relative Sitting-height, the size was shown from 53 to 55 all through the age without discrimination of sex just as the same as showed abone.

      • 希臘哲學에서의 身體觀에 관한 硏究 : Planton과 Aristoteles를 中心으로

        If we compare Aristotele's view about human body with that of plato's, the latter assumed binary attitudes of soul and body by the view of idealism and conceptualism, and he gave more priority to the soul than to the body. Contrarily, Aristotle assumed the attitude of monism of soul and body to achieve the individual happiness focused on the principle of searching Reason, based on the individual happiness. But, today, the attitudes of Plato's and Aristotele's are contradicted with those of modern education which are to achieve the sound harmony of soul and body. Each of Plato's Philosophical thought and Aristotele's 'harmony and meson' is significant, since the modern educational idea is to achieve the balance of soul and body, although the soul is so much contaminated with mammonism in modern ages. Accordingly, to build the forms of physical education there should be the starting line which includes those ideas of Plato's and Aristotele's, to meet the desirable principles and the philosophy of physical education as well.

      • 敎養體育의 評價方法에 관한 硏究 : 日本의 大學을 中心으로

        The purpose of this study is to acquire deferential data for improvement of physical education in Korean colleges and universities. For this, I investigated the evaluation methods of physical Education in Japanese Hukuoka, Tokyo, Tokyo provincial, Ichi Municipal, Nagoya and Toris college. The results are as follows ; 1.Among six, Only Tokyo and Ichi Municipal college use the method of summative evaluation and the others execute diagnostic evaluation about physical fitness or motor ability to the beginning of the school term, according to the results, they divide students by parts and teach lessons and to the close of the school term, they execute summative evaluation. 2.In Hukuoka and Tokyo university, to form a habit of everyday sports, they evaluate attendance at a high rate(70%). 3.In Tokyo provincial, Nagoya and Toris college, they evaluate skill at the highest rate(30%). 4.Among six, Toris college has the most systematic contents and the most objective criterion in evaluating physical education.

        The purpose of this study is to review the genetic parts in biology textbooks in the transition of the curriculum from the 5th to the 6th amendments, to analyze the changes of the educational guidelines through genetic parts in the contents of each course, and to suggest the efficient instructions and textual reorganization with comparing the changes of important contents of genetics. According to the results of this study, the drastic changes of the content structure of biology textbooks from the fifth to sixth amendments may throw students into confusion. So, it is required that some common principles have to become formula for stable education. The genetic engineering part in the Science I (for human and literature course) is not sufficient for teaching the culture education. And, the large amount of genetic knowledge based on genetic development (for science course) is considered to be somewhat unbalanced in organization in textbooks. Thus, it is perceived that more common criteria and systems for the modern genetic education in the high schools should urgently be set up.
