The Catholic Church of Korea has built the Church buildings focused on the liturgical space from the very beginning of the Church history. In the early days of its history, the Church had a liturgical space and a rectory, however, since the Second Vatican Council in 1962, it has expanded its space with the catechetical and the missionary space. In modern times, the building site has been getting smaller and the Church building has become a multipurpose one. This study seeks the characteristics of the Church area since 1990. It shows what is different in the Church architecture before and after 1990. The result is as follows. First, the Church becomes an high-rise and huge multipurpose building which has a basement. Second, when it becomes huge and high-rise, the 42.3% of the total space of the Church is used for a corridor, a hall and a basement garage. Third, the liturgical space is still plane and cross section after the Church became an multipurpose building. Fourth, the area for catechism and koinonia has been larger, but they are located in an basement level. The Church has been getting bigger year by year and the Church architecture considers an efficient use of the Church building, but still we need to plan more efficient space with its proper arrangement, minimizing additional spaces such as a corridor and a hall.

In this Paper, optimal capacity of energy storage and amount of CO₂ reduction in Jeju is calculated. Based on electricity demand data of Je-Ju from 2006 to 2007, the estimation electricity demand from 2009 to 2018 is performed. To calculate the amount of maximum CO₂ reduction and energy storage capacity in Jeju, the 4th power supply planning and IPCC guideline are used. Finally, Optimal capacity of energy storage and the amount of CO₂ reduction are showed.

현재 빌딩이 소비하는 에너지양은 북미와 유럽의 경우 전체 에너지 소비에서 약 40%를 차지하며 우리나라의 경우도 전체 에너지의 약 20%이상을 차지한다. 현재 에너지 소비 추세라면 2020년에 2006년 기준 150% 수준의 상승 (1990년 대비 250% 증가)할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 이러한 빌딩에서의 에너지 소비를 줄이기 위하여 전 세계적으로 건물에너지효율성능을 증대시키기 위한 다양한 연구 및 제도적 지원이 진행중에 있다. 하지만 이러한 기존의 연구 및 제도들은 빌딩의 에너지효율화 문제를 ‘빌딩 내부 에너지 소비량 최소화’의 관점에서 규정하고 다루었다. 사회적 비용의 관점, 특히 CO₂ 배출량과 같은 ‘Earth Carrying Capacity'의 관점에서 문제를 바라보고 해결방안을 모색하지 못하였다. 본 논문에서는 전력망 연동형 빌딩의 정의와 활용을 통하여 빌딩의 에너지를 절감하는 방법에 관하여 알아보고자 한다.

A novel concept of the gridable desalination plant is to provide an operation management to enable an electricity plant operation cost reduction. Adjusting recovery rate responded to electricity price, an electricity plant operation cost can be saved. To show a suggested approach, the data of 10 [MIGD](Million Imperial Gallons per Day) SWRO testbed are used. The result shows that total cost reduction rate is calculated about 1.6[%] of annual total electric plant operation cost.

This paper gives a basic concept of gridable sea water reverse osmosis plant. Regarding energy efficiency for SWRO plant, traditional operation only considered plant itself. In this research, Electric Operation based on demand response is mainly focused to achieve SWRO operation cost reduction. To prove suggested approach, 10 MIGD SWRO Test-bed operation data is used. The result shows 200 million won opeartion cost reduction.

최근의 세계적인 환경규제 강화 및 에너지절감 추세에 따라 전기자동차(Electric Vehicle)에 대한 요구가 점차 증가되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 4차 전력수급 기본계획에 따른 에너지 및 피크증가량과, 전기자동차 보급률에 따른 전력사용량을 비교하여 전력계통에 미칠 수 있는 영향에 대하여 알아보고 그에 대한 해결책으로 유연하고 강인성이 뛰어난 Smartgrid의 필요성을 제시 하였다.

The problem of determining the proper capacity of electric vehicle charging station is studied in the presented paper. Based on the expected arrival rate and the expected charging time, we calculate the proper capacity that guarantees electric vehicles get service better than a given lower bound which is termed the loss of charging probability. The problem is studied by using certain queueing models. We first formulate the problem as a queueless model of type M/M/n/n, known as the Erlang loss system. And then the M/M/n/K type queueing model is formulated to consider the parking space constraint. Results of the study may be used for designing the electric vehicle charging station.
psXML : 서비스 중심적 개방형 아키텍처를 가지는 수용가포털을 위한 XML 기반의 표준화

고전력수용가포털(Consumer Portal)은 소비자의 다양한 장치들과 광역 네트워크, 그리고 에너지서비스사업자 (ESP: 한전 등)의 서비스 애플리케이션 플랫폼을 연결하는 물리적 링크이자 논리적 결합으로, 전력서비스 체계에서 소비자-공급자 간 정보교환과 서비스 거래를 담당하는 양방향 통신의 핵심 인프라로서 포털이다. 전력수용가포털(Consumrr Portal)의 성공적인 설계와 개발을 위해서는 효율성, 경제성, 확장성을 고려한 서비스 중심적 표준화 전략이 중요하게 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전력수용가포털 설계에 필요한 XML기반의 표준화 안을 psXML(Power System XML)로 제안하고 이를 설계, 구현하여 실제 구축 중인 시스템에 적용하였다. 이는 네트워크 및 프로세서 부담을 최소화할 수 있는 수용가포털을 위한 개방형 표준을 구현한 것이다. RConsumer Portal is defined as a combination of hardware and software that enables two-way communication between energy service providers(ESP, like KEPCO) and equipment within the consumer's premises. The portal provides both a physical link (between wires, radio waves, and other media) and a logical link (translating among language-like codes and etiquette-like protocols) between in-building and wide-area access networks. Thus, the consumer portal is an important, open public shared infrastructure in the future vision of energy services. This paper presents an XML based standard specification of service-oriented, open protocol for consumer portal system architecture. In the framework level, the XML protocol provides a useful bridge between services and platforms. The proposed standard protocol has been implemented into our developing consumer portal pilot system. The results imply the potential of global standards for consumer portal system by its minimum overhead in network and processor. The proposed XML is designated psXML in this paper.
