Objective : The purpose of this study was to know the clinical effect of Hydrotherapy based Ultasonic spa on Atopic Dermatitis and Allergic Rhinitis. Methods : Allery Test(MAST CLA Allergy system, inhalant panel), DITI, Bio Chemistry, Hematology were investigated in 20 patients(Atopic Dermatitis 10, Allergic Rhinitis 10) who visited Department of Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology, Semyung Oriental medicine hospital from November 2004 to January 2005. Results : 1. In atopic dermatitis patients, there was good in 7 cases(70%), excellent in 3 cases(30%). 2. In allergic rhinitis patients there was improved in 5 eases(50%), good in 2 cases(20%), unimproved in 3cases(30%). 3. In conclusion, there was good(doctor and patients ail) in 6(60%), unimproved in 3(30%) Conclusion : Hydrotherapy based Utasonic spa showed useful effect on Atopic Dermatitis and Allergic Rhinitis.
Human Liver Microsomes과 HepG2 세포를 이용한 약물유래 간독성 평가 방법의 최적화

The aim of the present study was to optimize in vitro method for the prediction of drug-induced liver injury using human liver microsomes (HLM). Cytotoxicity test of cyclophosphamide and acetaminophen in HepG2 cells cultured with HLM showed that the newly established condition using 0.375 mg/ml HLM for 24 hr incubation was comparable or more sensitive than the previously established condition using 0.75 mg/ml HLM for 12 hr incubation. Although the cytotoxic effect of troglitazone was completely attenuated by 0.75 mg/ml HLM, it was augmented by 0.375 mg/ml HLM in the presence of the NADPH-generating system. The cytotoxic effect of chlormezanone, a withdrawn drug due to hepatotoxicity in human, was increased by HLM in the presence of the NADPH-generating system. In contrast, the cytotoxic effect of methapyrilene, a withdrawn drug due to hepatotoxicity in rats, was decreased by HLM in the presence of the NADPH-generating system. The present study suggests that the optimized in vitro method using HLM can be useful for the prediction of drug-induced hepatotoxicity.
가미윤조탕(加味潤燥湯)이 LPS로 유도된 RAW 264.7 대식세포에서의 항염 효과 연구

Objectives : Allergic disease has been well known as an IgE-dependent immunologic response. Recently, interest about the late inflammatory reaction has grown up as well as early allergic reaction characterized by IgE and mast cell. The purpose of this study was to find the anti-inflammatory effect of Gamiyunjo-tang(GMYJT) in allergic reaction. Methods : The experiment was performed using Raw 264.7 cells pretreated with GMYJT extracts. In this study, we observed the toxicity of cells by MTT analysis and measured the production of LPS-induced NO, $PGE_2$, IL-$1{\beta}$, IL-6 and TNF-${\alpha}$ at a concentration of 50, 100, 200 and $400{\mu}g/ml$. Results : No toxicity of GMYJT (50, 100, 200, $400{\mu}g/ml$) on RAW 264.7 cells was found after 24 hours incubation. LPS-induced NO production was reduced after treatment with GMYJT (100, 200, $400{\mu}g/ml$)(P<0.05). $PGE_2$ was reduced after treatment with GMYJT (100, 200, $400{\mu}g/ml$)(P<0.05). IL-$1{\beta}$ did not decrease at any dose. IL-6 decreased at 200, $400{\mu}g/ml$(P<0.05). TNF-${\alpha}$ production decreased only at $400{\mu}g/ml$(P<0.05). Conclusions : These data suggest that GMYJT has anti-inflammatory effects in late allergic reaction.
음성신호와 전기성문파를 이용하는 새로운 매개변수 ; 성대 폐쇄 지연비율(Glottal Closure Delay Ratio)

Background and Objectives: Biomedical signals have been usually used for the diagnosis of the laryngeal function such as speech, electroglottograph(EGG), airflow and other signals. But, in most cases these signals were analysed separately. Here, we propose a new interchannel parameter Glottal Closure Delay Ratio(GCDR) which is estimated from speech and EGG measured simultaneously. Materials and Method: Speech and EGG signal were recorded simultaneously from 13 normal subjects, 39 patients. The patients' data included 16 polyps and 23 vocal folds palsy. Time difference between glottal closing instance on EGG and the first maximum peak on speech in a pitch period was calculated. Glottal closing instance was defined as the maximum peak on the first derivative of EGG signal(dEGG). Results: The standard deviation and jitter were calculated using 20-30 GCDRs extracted from each data, and they are significant different between normal and vocal fold paralysis group. Conclusion: The GCDR may be the first index reflecting speech and EGG characteristics and the perturbation of this parameter was significant different between normal and vocal fold paralysis group.

Geothermal heat pump system has been spotlighted as an efficient building energy system, because it has great potentials for reducing energy in building air conditioning and reducing CO₂ emissions. However, higher initial cost is a barrier to the promotion of its use. Energy-pile and energy-slab are known as low cost ground heat exchangers comparing with conventional ground heat exchangers, because they utilize building structures as ground heat exchangers. This paper presents the daily cooling performance of a geothermal heat pump system with energy-pile and energy-slab. The energy-piles and the energy-slabs are connected to heat pump units in parallel. The cooling capacity of the system was nearly constant due to the stability of the ground heat exchangers. The stability of the energy-pile was a little higher than that of the energy-stab as a heat sink.
과냉각 열교환기 용량 변화에 따른 인젝션 히트펌프의 성능 특성

One major breakthrough in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning has been the development of heat pumps. Heat pump systems offer economic alternatives for recovering heat from different sources for use in various industrial, commercial and residential applications. In recent years, the heat pump has been tipped to have a very good potential for hot water production. This paper investigated the performance of a vapor injection heat pump with the variation of sub-cooler capacity at heating mode. The heating capacity of the vapor injection heat pump slightly increased with an increment of sub-cooler capacity, while COP didn’t increase continuously. The 20% capacity of sub-cooler comparing with system capacity could be used as a standard to select sub-cooler capacity.
유정용 강관의 미세조직 및 기계적 성질에 미치는 열처리의 영향

본 연구에서는 유정용 강관의 열처리 조건에 따른 미세조직 및 기계적 성질을 조사하였다. 실험에 사용된 유정용 강관의 종류는 J55 강재를 사용 하였고, 열처리 조건은 각각 오스테나이트 처리온도 (880℃, 910℃, 940℃), 냉각방식 (수냉, 유냉), 템퍼링 온도 (미실시, 550℃, 650℃) 이다. 열처리 조건에 따라 얻어지는 미세조직을 예측하기 위해 J55 강재의 화학적 성분을 기준으로 평형상태도와 CCT 곡선을 시뮬레이션 하였으며, 그 결과 A1, A3 온도가 약 20℃ 감소 하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 냉각속도에 따라 마르텐사이트, 베이나이트, 페라이트등 예상되는 미세조직을 정성적으로 알 수 있었고 이 결과는 실제 실험값과 유사한 양상을 나타내었다. 오스테나이트 처리온도가 증가 함에 따라 구 오스테나이트 결정립이 조대화 되었으며, 특히 920℃ 이상에서 결정립 크기가 급격히 증가하였다. 따라서 결정립 미세화 효과에 따라 경도와 강도는 감소 하였다. 열처리 조건이 변화함에 따라 마르텐사이트, 베이나이트, 페라이트 등 다양한 조직이 생성되었으며, 이는 경도, 강도 및 연신율에 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 수냉의 경우 마르텐사이트 조직이, 유냉의 경우 베이나이트와 페라이트 조직이 형성되었으며 수냉한 시편이 더 우수한 기계적 성질을 나타내었다. 템퍼링 처리후 마르텐사이트 조직 내에 FeC 석출물이 생성되었고 템퍼링 처리온도가 증가함에 따라 FeC석출물이 조대화되면서 인성이 향상되었다. This study examined the effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of J55 line pipe steel. The experiments were carried out at under the following various conditions: austenization temperature(880℃, 910℃, 940℃), cooling methods(water quenching, oil quenching) and tempering temperature(none, 550℃, 650℃). The phase diagram and CCT curve were simulated based on the chemical composition of J55 steel to predict the microstructures. In the results, A1, A3 temperature decreased. As the austenization temperature increased, existing austenite grains grew exponentially which seriously degraded their mechanical properties. Various microstructures, including martensite, bainite, ferrite, and pearlite, developed in accordance with the heat treatments and were closely correlated with hardness, tensile strength and toughness. Martensite was formed after water quenching, but bainite and ferrite appeared after oil quenching. FeC precipitation formed and coarsened during tempering, which improved their toughness.
