A DM Analysis of the Size of Root Compounds: A Cross-Linguistic View

This paper presents a syntax-oriented analysis of a seemingly phonological phenomenon in the domain of compounding in Sino-Korean, Chinese, and Sino-Japanese. I examine the compounding patterns focusing on self-compounds and argue that the notion of ‘disyllabicity’ defined in this paper is better understood as involving both phonology and syntax. I propose a syntax-based account of ‘disyllabicity’ in terms of Distributed Morphology, according to which a root compound has a limited capacity of hosting at most two incorporated roots. A careful and cross-linguistic examination of self-compounding reveals that the notion of disyllabicity is in part illusional due to its syntactic aspect unnoticed so far. I argue that ‘disyllabicity’ is an epiphenomenon, which emerges due to a syllabic-length profile of lexical items in a given language, in conjunction with the constraint that serves to limit the number of incorporated roots.

2014년 슬러지 발생량은 10,187ton/day로 2008년 기준 약 7,446ton/day에 비해 발생량이 약 37% 증가하였다. 하수슬러지의 발생량은 매년 증가할 것으로 예상되기 때문에 하수슬러지 발생량을 최소화 시키고 자원화하기 위한 여러 가지 대안 중 혐기성 소화방법과 슬러지 감량화 기술이 대안으로 제시되고 있다. 소화조는 장시간의 체류시간, 설계 값보다 낮은 소화효율 등의 고질적인 문제가 있으므로 슬러지를 효과적으로 처리 하기위해 이용 효율을 극대화하는 방안이 필요하다. 따라서 소화조 투입 전 단계에서 하수슬러지를 가용화하는 전처리를 실시하여 가수분해를 촉진시키고, 소화 효율을 높이는 방법을 이용하고 있다. 전처리 공정은 열적처리, 물리·화학적 처리, 생물학적 처리 등으로 구분되며, 이중 열적전처리 공정은 고온조건이나 저온조건에서 고분자 형태로 존재하는 슬러지를 저분자 형태로 전환시켜 바이오가스의 생산량과 소화효율을 증대시키는데 효과적인 것으로 알려져 있다. 열적전처리 중에서도 저온 열적전처리는 고온 열적전처리에 비해 공정 운전에 들어가는 에너지 소모량이 적고, 바이오가스 생산면에서도 효과적으로 알려져있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 생슬러지 및 잉여슬러지를 대상으로 60~120 ℃, 30~120분 조건에서 실시한 저온 열적전처리 공정에 의한 물리·화학적 특성 변화를 분석하고, BMP test를 통하여 바이오 가스 생산율을 평가하였다. 용존성 물질로 존재하는 SCODCr, NH4+, PO43-, VFAs 분석결과, 생슬러지 및 잉여슬러지 모두 열적전처리 온도가 상승함에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 가용화율은 120 ℃ 120분조건에서 SCODCr의 경우 가용화 전 각각 453mg/L, 1,698mg/L에서 열적전처리 후 최대 5,337mg/L, 8,769mg/L로 증가하였으며, TCODCr 중 SCODCr가 각각 약 12%, 18.6%차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 저온열적가용화 또한 슬러지의 세포 floc 파괴에 의한 내부 물질의 용출에 기인하여 가수분해 단계를 촉진시켜 소화효율을 향상시킬 수 있다고 판단된다.

Although cruel and serious juvenile crimes are widely known through the media, tough voices such as lowering the age standard of criminal minors and abolishing juvenile law have begun to emerge as public opinion has worsened due to the fact that boys who commit crimes are not properly punished. However, the question of whether to punish juvenile offenders is a matter of their ability to take responsibility, and there is a problem that can not be judged only by the illegality and consequence. Therefore, the study examined how the public’s thoughts on juvenile offenders have changed by analyzing changes in public opinion over the past 15 years on criminal minors. In the past, public opinion considered the problem of criminal minors as a matter of education in the family, but it changed that juveniles should be strongly punished when they commit a serious crime. And in the last five years, public opinion has risen rapidly that the criminal minor system should be changed and the juvenile law abolished for stronger punishment. However, reason of the change in public opinion is due to the fact that the current juvenile law system does not properly protect society from crime. And unconditional detention increases crime. Therefore adjusting the age of criminal minors will not solve the problem. Therefore, for practical social safety, it is necessary to more actively transform the juvenile protection system that currently does not function properly. As a specific measure, juvenile crime should not be viewed as the result of individual actions, certain punishments and educational and welfare measures should be strengthened in consideration of environmental factors.

Paired box protein, PAX7, is a key molecule for the specification, maintenance and skeletal muscle regeneration of muscle satellite cells. In this study, we identified and characterized the cDNA and amino acid sequences of PAX7 from black sea bream (Acanthopagrus schlegelii ) via molecular cloning and sequence analysis. A. schlegelii PAX7 cDNA was comprised of 1,524 bp encoding 507 amino acids and multiple sequence alignment analysis of the translated amino acids showed that it contained three domains including paired DNA-binding domain, homeobox domain and OAR domain which were well conserved across various animal species investigated. Pairwise Sequence Alignment indicated that A. schlegelii PAX7 had the same amino acid sequences with that of yellowfin seabream (A. latus ) and 99.8% identity and similarity with that of gilt-head bream (Sparus aurata ). Molecular phylogenetic analysis confirmed that A. schlegelii PAX7 formed a monophyletic group with those of teleost and most closely related with those of the fish that belong to Sparidae family including A. latus and S. aurata . In the investigation of its tissue specific mRNA expression, the expression was specifically identified in skeletal muscle tissue and a weak expression was also shown in gonad tissue. The cultured cells derived from skeletal muscle tissues expressed PAX7 mRNA at early passage but the expression was not observed after several times of subculture.
국가 ITS아키텍쳐기반의 여행자장치형 구성요소 프레임워크 모델링

교통사고 예방과 교통난 완화를 목적으로 도입된 지능형교통체계(ITS; Intelligent Transport System)는 민간영역의 다양한 서비스들과 결합하여 새로운 생활양식을 창출하는 종합 서비스의 개념으로 발전하고 있다. ITS 서비스에 이용되는 여행자단말장치도 별도의 장치라기 보다는 기존의 이동전화기, PDA, PC, KIOSK 등을 통해 구현되고 있으므로, 이러한 단말장치들이 갖춰야 할 ITS적인 요소들을 검토할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 민간사업자들이 ITS서비스를 고려하여 단말장치를 개발할 수 있도록 국가 ITS아키텍쳐를 근간으로 여행자장치형 구성요소를 구현하기 위한 구축단위들의 프레임워크를 UML로 모델링하였다. 모델링과정은 소속서브시스템파악 구축단위/기능명세 일반화, 정보/기능관점 참조모델작성, 참조모델의 UML모델링 등의 4단계를 따른다. ITS (Intelligent Transport System) has been developed into the full service leading to a new life style with the various services from private sector, which was intended to prevent the traffic accidents and to reduce the traffic jams. Since traveler-type components used in ITS services are not exclusively designed. but they can be one of the existing devices such as mobile phone, PDA, PC, KIOSK and etc. We need to consider that these devices are equipped to support ITS related services. Therefore, this study modeled, through UML, a framework of portable components based on the present national ITS architecture; the purpose being that private companies may be able to develop portable components with concepts of ITS services. The methodology of the modeling process we followed consisted of four steps: (1) analyzing service-related subsystems, (2) generalizing equipment-package and functional specifications. (3) describing information and function specific reference models, and (4) UML modeling of the reference model.

본 연구는 지속가능경영보고서와 소셜미디어 데이터를 활용하여 ESG의 통합적 관점을 파악하고, 향후 정책 설정을 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. LDA 토픽모델링과 의미연결망 분석으로 기업과 일반 대중 관점에서 의 ESG 트렌드를 분석하였으며, Joint Sentiment 토픽모델링을 활용해 대중의 부정적인 인식을 파악하고 그 개 선 방안을 제시하였다.

KR-31543, (2S, 3R, 4S)-6-amino-4-[N-(4-chlorophenyl)-N-(2-methyl-2H-tetrazol-5-ylmethyl) amino]-3,4-dihydro-2-dimethyoxymethyl-3-hydroxy-2-methyl-2H-1-benz opyran is a new neuroprotective agent for ischemiareperfusion damage. It has also been reported that KR-31543 has protective effects on lipid peroxidation and H2O2-induced reactive oxygen species production. In this study, we investigated the anti-inflammatory and anti-atherogenic properties of KR-31543. We observed that KR-31543 treatment reduced the production of MCP-1, IL-8, and VCAM-1 in HUVECs,and of MCP-1 and IL-6 in THP-1 human monocytes. We also examined the effect of KR-31543 on monocytes migration in vitro. KR-31543 treatment effectively reduced the migration of THP-1 human monocytes to the HUVEC monolayer in a dose-dependent manner. We next examined the effects of this compound on atherogenesis in LDL receptor deficient (Ldlr -/-) mice. After 10 weeks of western diet, the formation of atherosclerotic lesion in aorta was reduced in the KR-31543-treated group compared to the control group. The accumulation of macrophages in lesion was also reduced in KR-31543 treated group. However,the plasma levels of total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and triglyceride were not affected by KR-31543 treatment. Taken together, these results show that KR-31543 has anti-inflammatory properties on human monocytes and endothelial cells, and inhibits fatty streak lesion formation in mouse model of atherosclerosis, suggesting the potential of KR-31543 for the treatment for atherosclerosis.
