A numerical investigation has been conducted to find the effects of pressure losses by struts and rakes, and averaging methods on the performance of a multi-stage axial fan and a multi-stage axial compressor. Struts and rakes which produce pressure losses are installed upstream of the aerodynamic inlet plane in the fan and the compressor rigs. Some of normal stator vanes are substituted with thick vanes with total pressure probes to measure total pressure between stages. Three-dimensional Reynolds-averaged Navier- Stokes equations with $k-{\omega}$ SST turbulence model were applied to analyze the pressure losses by the struts, inlet rakes, and thick instrumented vanes. The hexahedral grids were used to construct computational domain. Inlet pressure losses were evaluated for the compressor as a function of Mach number. The passage pressure losses due to the instrumented vanes were evaluated at the two speed lines in the fan. Total properties, such as pressure and temperature, were evaluated at the exit of the fan and the compressor with two different averaging methods which are area-averaging and mass-averaging, respectively.
글로벌 OTT 기반 한국 영상콘텐츠 이용 경험이 미국 수용자의 한국 문화친밀도에 미치는 영향 연구

본 연구의 목적은 글로벌 OTT 기반 한국 영상콘텐츠 시청 경험이 미국 수용자의 한국 문화에 대한 문화친밀도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 20세 이상 미국 수용자 239명을 대상으로 각각 t-검정과 회귀분석을 통해 글로벌 OTT 기반 한국 콘텐츠 이용 전후 인구통계 변인별 문화친밀도 평균 차이 및 OTT 시청빈도와 문화친밀도와의 영향 관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 성별, 학력별 평균 차이는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았으나, 연령대에서는 일부 그룹 간에 유의한 차이를 보였고, 이들을 외생변수로 두고 독립변수 시청빈도를 투입한 위계적 회귀에서도 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 본 연구가 그간 미진했던 미국 콘텐츠 수용자 연구의 기초자료로서 K-콘텐츠 시장확대를 위한 연구에 도움이 될 수 있기를 기대한다. This study intends to analyze the effect of global OTT-based viewing experience of Korean video content on cultural intimacy of U.S. audiences in Korean culture. To this end, for 239 U.S. audiences aged 20 and over, this study analyzed the average differences in cultural intimacy of demographic variables before and after the use of global OTT-based Korean content using t-tests and examined the relationship between OTT viewing frequency and cultural intimacy through regression analyses. The results showed that gender and education level were not statistically significant, whereas statistically significant differences were observed among age groups, which remained statistically significant in the hierarchical regression that treated gender, education, and age variables as exogenous with viewing frequency as the independent variable. It is hoped that this study will will be helpful for research to expand the K-content market as the basic data of research on U.S. content viewers, which has been insufficient until now.
생성형 AI 기반 그리스 영웅 서사 활용 브랜드 광고 영상 제작 연구

본 연구는 생성형 인공지능을 활용하여 사용자가 선택한 그리스 신화적 요소를 바탕으로 브랜드 광고용 텍스트를 자동생성하고, 이를 영상으로 구현하여 그 실용 가능성을 분석한다. 사용자는 UI를 통해 신화 범주, 캐릭터, 장르, 시간대, 연출방식 등을 선택하며, 이 정보는 GPT 기반의 프롬프트로 자동 변환된다. 생성된 서사는 영상생성 모델 Sora를 통해 시각화되었고, 그 결과물은 본 연구에서 주요 분석 대상이 된다. 특히, 크리스토퍼 보글러의 영웅 여정 12단계 구조를 프롬프트 설계에 적용함으로써 AI가 생성한 광고 영상 내러티브에 서사적 일관성과 의미 구조를 부여하였다. 영상은 완성도, 창의성, 기술적 구현력 등에서 우수한 평가를 얻었으며, 이는 브랜드 마케팅에서 생성형 AI 기반 스토리텔링 시스템이 실질적으로 활용 가능함을 보여주고, 향후 콘텐츠 제작을 위한 창작 인터페이스의 방향을 제시한다. This study analyzes the practical applicability of generative artificial intelligence in brand advertisement production by automatically generating narrative texts based on user-selected elements of Greek mythology and visualizing them as video content. Through a user interface, users can select a mythological category, characters, genre, time period, and visual style. These selections are automatically transformed into GPT-based prompts. The generated narratives are visualized using the video generation model Sora, and the resulting video serves as the primary subject of analysis in this research. In particular, Christopher Vogler's twelve-stage structure of the Hero's Journey was applied to the prompt design, providing narrative coherence and structural meaning to the AI-generated advertisement. The resulting video was positively evaluated for its completeness, creativity, and technical execution, demonstrating the practical potential of generative AI-based storytelling systems in brand marketing. This study explores the intersection of mythology, narrative, and technology, and proposes a direction for future creative interfaces in content production.
마코위츠 포트폴리오 선정 모형을 기반으로 한 투자 알고리즘 개발 및 성과평가

This paper develops an investment algorithm based on Markowitz’s Portfolio Selection Theory, using historical stock return data, and empirically evaluates the performance of the proposed algorithm in the U.S. and the Hong Kong stock markets. The proposed investment algorithm is empirically tested with the 30 constituents of Dow Jones Industrial Average in the U.S. stock market, and the 30 constituents of Hang Seng Index in the Hong Kong stock market. During the 6-year investment period, starting on the first trading day of 2006 and ending on the last trading day of 2011, growth rates of 12.63% and 23.25% were observed for Dow Jones Industrial Average and Hang Seng Index, respectively, while the proposed investment algorithm achieved substantially higher cumulative returns of 35.7% in the U.S. stock market, and 150.62% in the Hong Kong stock market. When compared in terms of Sharpe ratio, Dow Jones Industrial Average and Hang Seng Index achieved 0.075 and 0.155 each, while the proposed investment algorithm showed superior performance, achieving 0.363 and 1.074 in the U.S. and Hong Kong stock markets, respectively. Further, performance in the U.S. stock market is shown to be less sensitive to an investor’s risk preference, while aggressive performance goals are shown to achieve relatively higher performance in the Hong Kong stock market. In conclusion, this paper empirically demonstrates that an investment based on a mathematical model using objective historical stock return data for constructing optimal portfolios achieves outstanding performance, in terms of both cumulative returns and Sharpe ratios.
박막형 기폭장치 내 이종금속 다층구조층의 화염전파 현상 해석연구

이 전산해석적 연구는 박막형 폭약 기폭장치의 성능 향상을 위해 나노 크기의 이종금속 다층구조를 박막 금속브릿지에 부착한 기폭장치 구조를 대상으로 한다. RC회로에 의한 브릿지 주울 발열 및 보론/티타늄 이종금속간 화학반응 모델링을 포함하여 3차원 다층구조 및 박막브릿지 복합구조에 대한 열 및 원자종 확산방정식 기반 3차원적 전산해석이 수행되었다. 전산해석 결과로 불균일한 브릿지 발열, 브릿지 열손실 등의 3차원적 효과가 예상보다 매우 크며, 이에 따라 1차원적 해석에 비교하여 점화시간 지연 및 더 전기에너지 요구사양 등에 큰 영향을 미침을 발견하였다. Ignition performance of thin film explosive initiators could be much improved by employing nanoscale intermetallic multilayers on top of metallic film bridge. This computational investigation carried out three-dimensional computations of thermal and atomic species diffusion for the microstructure of a thin film initiator with boron and titanium multilayers using the models of bridge joule heating by RC initiation circuit and intermetallic reaction propagation. The computational results found that the three-dimensional effects such as non-uniform bridge heating and bridge heat loss are quite significant, and they lead to longer delay of reaction ignition and higher energy requirement when compared to one-dimensional approximation.
대학영어수업에서 동료교수와 교실응답시스템이 의사소통의지, 상호작용성, 영어독해성취도에 미치는 영향

With the emphasis on communicative language learning, interactive teaching methods and tools are gaining attention in English education. This study examined the impact of CRS(classroom response system) and peer instruction to promote interactive and communicative English learning. In total 97 college students participated in the study. Students wereas assigned to one of four groups which were divided depending on the use of CRS and teaching methods. Students took English comprehension tests, Willing to Speak in English surveys, and Interactivity surveys before and after the research intervention. The results were contradicting to the previous studies on CRS. The findings were presented with suggestions for effective use of instructional technology.
