        유방암으로 항암 치료받는 환자에서 발생하는 과도한 골수 억제의 예측인자

        Purpose: Myelosuppression, particularly neutropenia, is one of the most frequent and serious toxicity seen in patients with breast cancer undergoing systemic chemotherapy. However, the predictive factors for development of severe neutropenia in chemotherapy remain unknown. We therefore evaluated predictive factors for excessive myelosuppression. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 341 patients with breast cancer treated with chemotherapy from 2000 to 2012. Clinicopathological characteristics, number of using of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), and pretreatment hematologic values were extracted from the electronic medical record system. Patients were sorted 2 groups by number of using G-CSF in each chemotherapeutic regimens; group 1 is more G-CSF (within high 20 percentile) and 2 less G-CSF using group (within lower 20 percentile). Results: Number of using G-CSF was ranged 0–83 (mean 10.76). One hundred one patients were in group 1 and 65 patients were in group 2. Mean of number of G-CSF using was 0.21 in group 1 and 28.02 in group 2. Pretreatment white blood cell, hemoglobin and platelet count were lower in group 2 than in group 1 (6.88×103/μL vs. 5.97×103/μL, 12.63 g/dL vs. 11.90 g/dL, and 275.95×104 μL vs. 227.37×104 μL). There were no statistically differences in other clinicopathologic characteristics such as age, body mass index or comorbidities, hormonal receptor, stage, and other pretreatment hematologic values. Conclusion: Pretreatment white blood cell count, hemoglobin and platelet count can be used to identify patients at increased risk of significant myelosuppression undergoing chemotherapy with breast cancer. This information can be used to target high-risk patients for prophylactic treatment.

      • HSI 색정보와 관심영역(ROI-LB)을 이용한 차선검출 알고리듬

        This paper presents an algorithm that extracts road lane's specific information by using HSI color information and performance enhancement of lane detection base on vision processing of drive assist. As a preprocessing for high speed lane detection, the optimal extraction of region of interest for lane boundary (ROI-LB) can be processed to reduction of detection region in which high speed processing is enabled and it also increases reliabilities by deleting edges those are misrecognized. Road lane is extracted with simultaneous processing of noise reduction and edge enhancement using the Laplacian filter, the reliability of feature extraction can be increased for various road lane patterns. Since noise can be removed by using saturation and brightness of HSI color model. Also it searches for the road lane's color information and extracts characteristics. The real road experimental results are presented to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

        본 논문은 입력영상의 화질 향상을 위하여 기존의 스트레칭 알고리즘을 이용하여 개선된 콘트라스트 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 입력영상의 픽셀(pixel)을 DR(Difference Range)의 범위에 따라 정해진 가중치를 적용하여 새로운 픽셀을 출력한다. 특별한 사용자 정의(User Define)없이 실시간적으로 화질을 개선할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한, 하드웨어 적인 측면에서 곱셈 과 나눗셈 연산을 배럴쉬프트(Barrel Shift)를 이용하여 하드웨어 복잡도를 감소 시켰다. 제안한 방식의 알고리즘의 검증을 위하여 C를 이용한 시각적 검증과 하드웨어 측면에서의 검증을 VHDL을 이용한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.

        전산화 신경인지기능 검사를 이용한 알코올 중독자의 인지기능 평가

        Chronic alcoholics show various degrees of dysfunction in abstraction, memory, perception, problem-solving ability, motor performance and so on. The evaluation of neurocognitive status is important to figure out the CNS effect of long-term heavy drinking and the prognosis of alcoholic patients. The present study was designed to assess cognitive deficits of alcoholics with recently developed computerized neurocognitive tests and to inspect the clinical applicability. We administered Standard Progressive Matrices, Cognitrone, Determination Unit, and Motor Performance Test Series in Vienna Test System(Schufried 1994), a computerized test battery, to twenty-two male hospitalized alcoholics who met DSM-III-R criteria for dependence and abuse and were abstinent for at least 6 weeks. Alcoholics tended to show less correct answers on Standard Progressive Matrices than controls, especially in difficult sets to solve, and displayed longer reaction time for correct answer on Cognitrone, less appropriate reactions and more missed reactions on Determination Unit, and poorer performances on Motor Performance Test Series. These results suggest that alcoholics with relatively long abstinence period, though somewhat improved, still manifest deficits of visuo-spatial intelligence, poor motor performance, and psychomotor clumsiness aggravated in stressful situations. Considering many advantages of computerized tests, the computerized neurocognitive tests may be clinically useful for assessing cognitive deficits in alcoholics under certain restriction.

        재료공학도를 위한 금속공예 융합 교육과정 연구

        본 연구는 서울대학교 재료공학부의 요청으로 공과대학 학생들을 대상으로 미술대학의 기초금속공예 실습교육을 재료공학 이론교육과 연계하여 시행한 결과를 정리하고 분석한 것이다. 창의적 표현을 위한 매체로 금속재료를 활용하고 있는 미술대학 금속공예전공 교육과정을 참조하여 공예작품을 완성하는 감성적 체험을 통해 금속재료의 특성을 경험적으로 파악하고 전공 학습에 대한 학습 의욕을 높일 수 있도록 기획되었다. 공과대학 재료공학부의 금속 관련 교과목과 실험/실습교육 현황을 파악하고 미술대학의 금속공예학과 실기 과목에 대해 검토하여 적합한 실습의 내용을 결정하였다. 2018년부터 2019년까지 세 학기 동안 시행된 교육과정에서 이루어진 금속공예 실습과 금속재료공학 이론의 융합 교육 내용과 구체적인 사례를 정리하였고, 교육과정을 수료한 공과대학 학생들과 미술대학 조교들을 대상으로 이와 같은 교과목 운영이 전공과제 수행에 미치는 영향과 교육 효과에 대해 의견을 수렴한 결과, 대단히 만족스러운 평가를 받았고, 이를 바탕으로 향후 이와 같은 융복합 교육에 대한 발전 방향에 대해 논의해보았다. This paper will introduce a new STEAM program for students in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the College of Engineering at Seoul National University. The content of the class was created to provide hands-on experience and increase motivation to learn metallurgy after carefully exploring the connection between the metal-related subjects in the department of materials science and engineering and the metal craft practice subjects in the college of fine arts. In particular, we aim to provide specific examples of interdisciplinary education contents in which metal craft practice and metallurgical theory were synergistically combined in the course of classes over three semesters from 2018 to 2019. Students and teaching assistants in the classes were satisfied with this new program and they acknowledged the positive effect of the multidisciplinary program. The paper will also discuss the future direction of the program development that embraces a wide range of subjects in the materials science.

        전 복강경적 간절제술

        Purpose : The aim of this study was to determine whether liver resection treated by using laparoscopy is equally safe for patients who have benign liver mass, hepatolithiasis, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), of metastatic liver cancer. Methods : We performed our study in 32 patients with the following conditions: 17 patients with IHD stones, 7 with HCC, 1 with cholangiocarcinoma, and 7 patients who had colon cancer with liver metastasis. On a retrospective bases, these patients were investigated for clinical history, type of operation, time for operation, hospital stay, and post operative complications. Results : The target age range was from 37 to 80 years and the mean age was 61.2 years old. The percentage of patients over 60 years old was 68.7% According to their past history, 8 patients had experienced an upper abdominal operation. In our study there were 9 cases of left hepatectomy(28.1%), 9 cases of left lateral segmentectomy (28.1%), 2 cases of sectionectomy, and 12 cases of wedgeresection. The average operation time was 364±148 mins, the average bleeding amount was 417cc, and the average hospital stay was 13.2 days. There were 8 cases(25%) of postoperative complications developed (2 bile leak, 1 intrabdominal abscess, 1 acute renal failure, 2 wound infection). All cases were improved with conservative management. And there was one case of remnant IHD stone, which had surgical treat and one patient had peritoneal carcinomatosis, who had laparoscopic liver resection for HCC. Conclusion : Our study showed that laparoscopic liver resection has advantages; it is less painful, causes a small operative scar, a the short period of hospital stay and has cosmetic benefits. In the future, laparoscopic liver resection could be an important option for the treatment of hepatolithiasis and HCC through improved surgical instrument and skill of operation.

        In order to develop domestic railway technology, it is necessary that manufacturing technology of turnout should be kept up with update level, because turnout is the core component of high speed railway. Manganese crossing made of high manganese alloy steel is a important component of turnout. So far, this could not have been welded with rail steel due to metallic problem in Korea. However, joint technology hereunder between manganese crossing and rail by using Flash Butt Welding which is developed by Kangwon Railtech Co., Ltd is the state of the art and enable to realize rail continuousness in turnout section, speed up train velocity, reduce maintenance cost, and enhance riding quality.
