최윤배 ( Choi Yoon-bae ) 한국조직신학회 2018 한국조직신학논총 Vol.51 No.-
This study examines the research-history of Martin Bucer((Butzer)(1491-1551) in Korea. Although the 500th anniversary of the Reformation was commemorated last year, Martin Bucer could be a “forgotten Reformer” even now, compared to other Reformers. He became the director of the Strasbourg(Straßburg) Church as “Reformer of Strasbourg” who worked for about 25 years(1523-1549) in his home town of Strasbourg in Germany. He was the best leader who led the Reformation in the forefront and was also called the “originator of the Reformed Church.” He played a leading role in Strasbourg. He influenced the whole of Europe and various camps of Reformation, especially John Calvin. The first treatise on Martin Bucer in Korea, Yoon Bae Choi’s “the Holy Spirit and Christ’s tripple office in Bucer and Calvin,” has been published in a Korean journal on March 30, 1999. Since then a number of theses and academic papers have published. The growing interest in Martin Bucer is very encouraging for the study of Reformation theology in Korea. Even the non-professional persons of Martin Bucer have an interest in him and write articles, a short essay, a book review and a newspaper article over Martin Bucer. For example, in 2004, Kyung-Su Park presented the theme, “Martin Bucer and John Calvin: Advocates of Church Unity.” And recently, Kim In Ju introduced the life and ministry of Martin Bucer twice in a weekly magazine. We expect that Martin Bucer as “forgotten Reformer” would surely become a well-known “Reformer” in the future.

This paper investigates of H. Thielicke`s Pneumatology according to his Evangelical Faith. We might illustrate the confrontation of the two ecclesiologies in many ways. But Helmut Thielicke(1908~1986) mentions two models: docetic model and Ebionite model. He combines two models. The visible assembly and fellowship of people and the Word of God that constitutes the church belong together. This correlation is indissoluble. The essence of the church is grounded in the promise and commitment of the present Christ The ground of the church is the presence of Christ, or more precisely, the presentation of his Word and work achieved by the Holy Spirit. According to Thielicke the question of the church`s ``where`` can be answered only in terms of the relation between God`s Word and its work through the Sprit. The church builds up itself like s fabric involving two factors, the wrap of the preaching of the Word from generation to generation beginning with Christ`s incarnation and extending to the end this aeon, and the woof which bring afresh each day the efficacious gifts of the Spirit in the form of faith, love, hope. The office-bearer can act only as one who serves the Word. He can pray for the Holy Spirit. The Christian life begins, continues, and ends in worship. Liturgy is the supporting of worship and preaching the free leg. The Spirit of God with his testimony is a Spirit of presentation, of disclosure. Admission to the Lord`s Supper should depend solely on the hungering and thirsting(Matthew 5:6; John 6:35) of those who seek it, for to them the promise is given that by the Spirit the hungry can receive the nearness and fellowship of the Lord.

This thesis aims at investigating Rev. Dr. Sou-Young Lee as Minister and his View on Minister. As we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, we will celebrate the significance of the Reformation Movement in the 16th century and celebrate the faith of theologians and pastors who are faithful to the tradition of the Reformation in the 130 years of Korean Church history. In addition to emphasizing the necessity of research on the need for research, he began his work by proposing the necessity of research on the pastor, Sou-Young Lee (1946-) himself and his pastor, as well as a reformed theologian of Presbyterian Church. He was born on October 9, 1946 in Seoul. He can be called a Korean excellent Calvinist. He thought systematic theology 17 years at Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary(PUTS). Since then he has been ministering in the Presbyterian Saemoonan Church, Korea`s most organized church for 17 years. Only one thesis about him is written until now. This writing will be the second thesis about him. In discussing Lee`s view on minister, we used an approach generally used in systematic theology. His life was examined, followed by his view on minister. Section II deals with his life. Section III deals with Lee`s view on minister. Section IV summarizes our thesis. Sou-Young Lee as minister and his view on minister can be summarized and evaluated in the following ways. In conclusion, Lee is a pastor, a theologian, a theologian, and a pastor. He is a pastor of the Presbyterian Church in a typical Reformed tradition, but also a biblical, apostolic, ecumenical pastor.
