Due to the historic background, Korean 1anguage studies in the era of 1894-1945(the time of Korean civilization and Japanese occupation) has been reviewed. It is because Korean scholars have been strictly critical on Japanese scholars engaged in Korean studies in the period. The academic circle on Korean language is not an exception. However, we may recognize that it is a concentrated study about the civilizing era and Japan-occupied era that will be a clue which solves many problems related to Korean language studies. It is an urgent study that objectively analyze and evaluate all studies in the period. I overview the history of the study in Korean language in the era of 1894, regarded as an enlightened period in the field of Korean language studies, to 1944 in the last period of Japanese occupation. Japanese scholars and Korean ones are reviewed respectively in each period. Points at issue clearly come out in the framework of Korean language studies in the period. I confirm that the analysis and consideration of each scholar in the period is indeed important. Among many scholars, the most consideration should be paid to Shimpei Ogura who left the most remarkable result in the field. I divide his life into four stapes according to content of his study and places where he studied. I also consider his achievements in the framework. It is further issue to clarify the effect of his study upon the academic circle of Korean language in his time and later time.

Even though the need for developing a model for dance curricula has long been recognized, there has not been much study on dance curricula. this paper tries to fill the gap for such a need. Dance curricula in ninety nine universities in Korean, Japan and the United States of America are analyzed in this paper. In all countries, dance curricula are offered most frequently as a part of physical education. The largest credit hours per week were offered in Korean universities. In the U.S.A., professional education for dance in the department of dance is distinguished from the education through dance in the department of physical education. We need to follow this model to separate the professional dance education from physical education.

일제시대의 조선어연구 전 분야에 걸쳐 주도적인 역할을 한 小倉進平에 의한 조선어연구사 그 첫 번째로서, 學史類에 관련된 論著에 대한 검토이다. 한일합방부터 해방까지 일본인 연구자에 의해 이루어진 조선어 學史연구는 小倉에 의한 朝鮮語學史의 기초 연구인 조선시대까지의 중국, 여진, 몽고, 만주,일본어학에 관한 연구와 語學機關, 語學敎材와 사전들에 대한 書誌學方面의 연구과정을 통해 小倉의 독무대였음을 확인할 수 있다. 이는 1940년의 「朝鮮語學史」에 의해 집대성되었다. 같은 시기에 이와 쌍벽을 이루는 學史硏究인 金允經의 「朝鮮文學及語學史」과의 비교검토는 우리의 國語學史에 관한 硏究史의 全貌를 예고한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate painful regions of female dancer bodies through the analysis of Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging. There are 52 healthy dancers, their age ranging from 20 to 36, that have had l to 16 years of dancing experience. Thoracic Kyphotic angle, lumbar, lordotoc angle, sagittal plumb-line, segmental sagittal angle of lumbosacral spine, and sacral inclination are measured by Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging measures by segemented the body into regions. The regions are anterior, posterior, right, and left. Ⅰ classified the dancers as groups A,B,C, and D based on the number of years in the dancing profession. 1. Group A-Age: 20 to 24, Experience: 1 to 5 years, Number: 14 2. Group B-Age: 25 to 29, Experience: 6 to 10 years, Number: 28 3. Group C-Age: 30 to 35, Experience: 11 to 15 years, Number: 8 4. Group D-Age: over 36, Experience: more than 16 years, Number: 2 The main results of this study are as follows: 1. I found that the part of the body that caused the most was the Middle Finger in group A.. 2. In group B: Feels pain in their Med. Aspect of Sole and Lat. Aspect of Forearm more than other part of region. 3. I found Lat. Aspect of Leg and Lat. Aspect of Sole as most painful region in group C. 4. Group D feels most painful region is Med. Aspect of Leg and Med. Aspect of Forearm.

The concept of direction originates from theatrical plays. Since both dance and play are performance-arts which share a common characteristic of time-space on a stage, the choreographer of a dance is often understood to play the same kind of role which the director of a play does. However, as a good playwright cannot always be an effective director of the play and vice versa, a choreographer cannot always be an effective director of a dance. This paper investigates the interrelationship between choreography and dance-direction. By studying the role, scope, and methods of dance-direction which can be accommodated in the present day dance performances, this paper also looks into the question of the need for more specialized staff who takes charge of dance-direction.
Maurice Bejart의 작품 『디오니소스』의 背景과 意味에 대한 小考 : The Influence of His Earlier Work and Its Significance

The upbringing of Maurice Bejart and his father`s influence are briefly discussed. His major choreographic work and stage performances in three decades preceding the staging of Dionysos are examined in anticipation of Dionysos. The distinguishing characteristics and special features of choreography in Dionysos are analysed in detail. In concluding section, the significance of Bejart in modern dance is put forward. It is argued that he made every gesture of a dancer meaningful in the totality of the circumstances of the work and brought truly a revolutionary outlook on the use of gestures in modern dance.
