The GC pictures were taken to investigate the difference of the Samul-tang and Sakunja-tang, each prepared by the different boiling methods, which were the traditional method(using cover), using the condenser, and using no cover. For Samul-tang, there was not much difference in the GC pictures, but the one pick(rt about 7 min.) of the picture by the method using the condenser had the higher intensity than those in the pictures by other methods. For Sakunja-tang, the GC pictures of the method using the condenser had shown a lot of the peaks and the very high intensity, which were much better than those of the picture by the traditional method. However, the GC pictures of the method by using no cover had shown almost nothing.
Objective : This study was designed to show the possible functional groups from the herb medicine in boiling water. Results : The results are summarized as follows: 1. the new functional groups can be synthesized in water solution for herb medicine. 2. The boiling water solution may change the poison materials into harmless materials. 3. The multiplication, the offset, the contradiction, etc. in terms of mixed herb medicine can be explainable by these reactions. 4. After finding the new medicinal substances for the specific disease, we can synthesize, modify, and mass produce those for that disease.
The main purpose of this study is to propose a new diaphragm of CFT square column-to-beam connections and evaluate structural capacities of existing and new diaphragms with experimental approach and F.E.M. analysis. The existing diaphragms are interior and through types, while the proposed type is a combined cross diaphragm. The combined cross diaphragm is made up of a through diaphragm in the strong-axis direction and an interior diaphragm in the weak-axis direction. Five tension specimens are made and tested for an idealized tension side of full CFT square column-to-beam connections to evaluate structural capacities. Also analytical simple tension tests for three specimens of the existing diaphragms and combined cross diaphragm are analyzed by F.E.M program. As the results of the experiment and analysis, it is clarified that the combined cross diaphragm proposed in this study have good performances with respect to ultimate strength and initial stiffness compared with the existing diaphragms.
