This study aimed to identify energy saving opportunities by energy audit for the industries based on clean room such as semiconductor and chemistry business. It costs a lot of energy to operate product facilities equipped with clean rooms. Specially energy is consumed and wasted highly in the process of maintaining temperature and humidity in a clean room. Some causes of energy loss in a clean room are identified in the process of product by energy audit and also confirmed by some tests on site. And the way is proposed to solve that problem.

This study aimed to make the solution that the industries do not recover the waste heat because of its low temperature. Industries like the chemical plant have the process in higher temperature comparing the temperature of waste heat. Main purpose of transporting the heat from one site to the other site is to use waste heat effectively. The pilot project has been done by constructing the piping to move waste heat between two sites and installing the absorption chiller to use waste heat transported in the other site. The site supplying heat can make a profit by selling waste heat and the other site also save the cost by using cheaper chilled water. Feasibility study also has been done to show the reduction of green house gas.

The purpose of this study is to examine the energy consumption, carbon dioxide emission & energy cost of district heating using sewage source. The annual TOE of heat pump using sewage source save 37.1 percent than city gas boiler. And annual carbon dioxide emission of heat pump cut down 41.3 percent than city gas boiler. If it charges the rate schedule for district heating to apartment resident, collected amount are 3,127,170 thousand won. As energy cost of heat pump & circulation pump are 1,378,072 thousand won. the profits are 1,749,098 thousand won. As payback period is 8.97years, applicability is low level. However, it has advantages in energy consumption, carbon dioxide emission & energy cost. Therefore, it needs to proceed through government assistance.

In this study, we applied the multiple control technique to the constant temperature water control, effectively cooling the two constant temperature water baths and controlling them with the final electric heater. The temperature difference of the water bath with VRF and electric heater can be maintained within the same small range as the conventional water bath with a water cooling chiller and electric heater. One VRF system using multiple control technique can not only operate two water baths simultaneously, but also reduce the power consumption by 85.7% at the SP 15℃, 20℃, 25℃.
