Objectives: The purpose of study is to investigate periodontal disease-related recognition and oral health-related behavior in orthodontic patients with fixed appliance. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 286 orthodontic patients with fixed appliance in Gwangju, Jeonnam from September 1 to September 27, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics (3 items), orthodontic related characteristics (3 items), knowledge of periodontal disease (3 items), and oral health-related behavior (4 items). The data were analyzed by frequency analysis, percentage and chi-square analysis using SPSS 21.0 program. Results: 62.8% had experiences of dental treatment and 67.5% had intention of involvement on incremental care program in orthodontic treatment periods. Accuracy rate of cause about periodontal disease was high in female and case of acquiring information experiences on periodontal disease (p<0.05). 67.2% performed correct toothbrushing for the management of periodontal disease in the experiences of acquiring information on periodontal disease in orthodontic treatment periods (p<0.05). The proportions of using interdental toothbrush and mouth rinsing solutions were high among those over 20 years old and students in the subjects (p<0.05). Conclusions:The accuracy rate were high in the answers about cause and management of periodontal disease in case of acquiring information experiences on periodontal disease in orthodontic treatment periods. Therefore, there is a need to further development and implementation of dental hygiene intervention program for periodontal disease care with fixed orthodontic appliances in that regard.
치과 병·의원 내 치과위생사 간 의사소통에 대한 질적 연구

Objectives: This study aimed to offer basic resources needed to solve conflicts and problems of communication among dental hygienists working in dental clinics by comprehending and analyzing their in-depth communication experiences. Methods: Individual depth interviews were conducted with 10 dental hygienists who had over one year of clinical experience and worked in dental clinics in Gwangju, from September 16 to October 15, 2020. Colaizzi’s phenomenological analysis was performed. Results: The results of the interviews were grouped into four central categories: lack of communication due to differences in position, relationships they want to avoid, return to joint work, beginning of new communication. The participants of this study experienced difficulties in communicating with dental hygienists in the clinical field, but they overcame the conflicts by trying to understand others by putting themselves in others’ shoes. Conclusions: This study is expected to contribute to providing good quality medical services to patients by promoting effective communication among dental hygienists.

This paper describes a new technology to develop the character recognition technology based on pattern recognition for non-contacting inspection optical lens slant or precision parts, and including external form state of lens or electronic parts for the performance verification, this development can achieve badness finding. And, establish to existing reflex data because inputting surface badness degree of scratch"s standard specification condition directly, and error designed to distinguish from product more than schedule error to badness product by normalcy product within schedule extent after calculate the error comparing actuality measurement reflex data and standard reflex data mutually. Developed system to smallest 1 pixel unit though measuring is possible 1 pixel as 37㎛×37㎛ (0.1369×10-4㎟) the accuracy to 1.5×10-4 ㎜ minutely measuring is possible performance verification and trust ability through an experiment prove.
구조 변환을 통한 Heptamethine cyanine 색소의 광안정성 향상

근자외선영역에서 용해성과, 몰흡광계수 및 열안정성이 좋은 heptamethine cyanine 색소에 대한 연구를 하였다. 색소의 구조에 따른 광안정성의 영향과 자외선에 대한 광안정성을 향상시키기 위하여 cyclohexyl 아민유도체를 사용하여 합성하였다. 그 결과 기존의 10.9%의 광안정성으로부터 71.7%로 광안정성이 높아졌다. 또한 bridgehead구조에서 전자밀도가 낮은 치환기를 사용할 경우 흡수파장의 이동된 결과 25nm와 광안정성이 향상된 결과를 나타냈다. thiobarbituric heptamethine cyanine 색소는 좋은 전자주개(Electron donor) 물질로서 825nm의 최대흡광도를 나타내었고, 25nm blue shift 함을 확인하였다. 기존물질과 대비하여 40%이상 광안정성이 향상된 결과를 나타내어 새로운 CTP 재료의 가능성을 보였다. We carried out the synthesis of new heptamethine cyanine dyes that have many advantage such as good solubility, molar absorption efficiency and thermal stability as the functional dyes. Cyclohexyl amine derivatives having low electron density on bridgehead. was synthesized for enhancement of the photostability on ultravilolet and the absorption on near infrared region. We confirmed that our synthesized thiobarbituric heptamethine cyanine exhibited a improvement of photostability more than 40% and a maximum absorbance at 825nm wavelength compared to existing amine derivatives dyes.
