        외기에 직접 면하는 외벽부위용 결로 방지 콘센트 박스 개발

        Purpose: It is a practical custom that power outlet boxes are installed in the exterior wall after taking out the existing insulation. Additionally, since generic type outlet boxes are made of steel that has higher conductivity, power receptacle can be easily chilled down; condensation thus easily occurs in the surface of the receptacle and inner surface of the outlet box. Method: We develop a new condensation-free outlet box that is made of phenolic resin layers between which air cavity and insulation are inserted. The developed outbox is also covered by urethane gasket to prevent the indoor air flowing into the outlet box. Result: Compared to steel outlet boxes and other available phenolic resin outlet boxes, the developed outlet box turns out to be more insulating in heat transfer simulations. In a physical field test, the developed outlet box outperforms the steel outlet box in terms of preventing condensations, even in the situation that condensation is apparently expected.

      • 이동컴퓨팅 환경에서 재배치 기법을 이용한 데이터 일관성 유지비용에 관한 연구

        최근에 이동 컴퓨팅환경에서 사용자가 이동중에도 정보를 손실없이 빠르게 얻기 위해, 서버에 정보를 복제하여 사용하는 방법이 연구되고 있다. 지금까지는 이동 호스트가 복제 서버에 데이터를 복제하는 방법인 정적 복제 기법(Static Replica Allocation : SRA)기법을 사용하고 있다. 이 기법은 이동 호스트가 셀에 이동하고나서, 복제서버에 데이터를 복제하는 방법이다. <중략>그리고 정적 복제기법을 사용하였을 때와 본 논문에서 제안된 기법을 비교하여, 데이터 접근 비율을 이동성과 셀의 수에 따른 성능을 분석하였다. 그래서 그 결과, 이동 호스트들의 이동성이 낮을 때에는 접근 비용에서, 제시된 기법이 정적 복제 기법보다 5% 낮게 나타났다. 그리고 이동률에 따른 접근비용은 $2%\sim2.5%$ 감소되었음을 알 수 있다. 마지막으로 셀의 수에 따라서, 선택복제기법의 확장성은 1.7%정도 떨어짐을 알 수 있다. Recently, A method of using the replicated database on a server to get new data without mis sing any information has been being studied in mobile computing environment. So far we ha ye used the Static Replica Allocation(SRA) for the replication which is the method of the replication on the server. This method is to replicate the data on the replica server after $\underline{a}$ moving host is transferred to a cell. Since the network of the SRA is very good, and if there are few moving users, no trouble will happen. But if there is no moving users in a cell, the data will not be shared. Therefore, this paper is about the study of the method of relocation after replicating the data to the cells for the users(User Select Replica Allocation : USRA). We also analyze the access rate and the possibility which are closely related to the moving frequency of the mobile hosts and the numbers of the cells. As a result, We show that the 5% lower access cost and the $2%\sim2.5%$ gains are achieved from the low mobility of the mobile hosts. We also show that t he extension function of USRA reduces the cost by 1.7% and it is influenced by the numbers of the cells.

        UCC 동영상에 나타난 장애인 인식분석

        The disabled persons are discriminated in every part of life including education, employment, movement right and suffrage, etc. and in order to remove the discrimination against them all around the boundaries, the improvement of understanding about the disabled is the first consideration. The role of mass media is very important in improving the understanding of the disabled, but the existing media are rather promoting the negative understanding of the disabled highlighting the moving stories of the non-disabled who help the disabled and the life of heroic disabled persons who have overcome their obstacles. In other words, they see disabilities as the disabled persons' personal tragedy or problem not "the social failure", the problem in social structure, and stress the impairment of the disabled as the object of overcoming not the part of difference. On the contrary, UCC videos, which are being established as a trend of internet, are different from mass media in the respect that the disabled themselves can make videos and thus have a great potential to raise the understanding. In this point of view, we have formed four types of analytic frames according to disability theory and the way of frame constitution to analyze the understanding of the disabled appeared in UCC videos through this study. Aa a result of analysis, the thirty nine videos are classified into eight medical limitations models, eight medical variety models, five social limitations models, and eighteen social variety models. Through this analysis by the type, we can see that in UCC videos unlike other media, medical limitations models are fewest and social variety models are most and take the lead. This shows that many of UCC videos have a content that the disabled persons are not the ones who are disabled or have a personal limitations in the pathologic respect and disability is one of the personalities and conditions that human beings can have. We have clarified that UCC videos which can be made by the disabled in their own respect have a difference in the accessibility and contents with other media. When considering that the active manufacturing of these videos can not only improve the understanding of the disabled but also increase variety to their cultural life, we think that multilateral studies on the way of technology and support of video manufacturing should be made.

        外來患者 當日 未受領藥品 實態調査

        Approximately one thousand prescriptions for outpatients are issued daily in our hospital. Although most of the outpatients took the dispensed drugs on the same day. some of the patients did not take their drugs. Therefore, we analyzed the reasons why the patients did not take the drugs and the contents of prescriptions for one year from Oct. 1985 to Sep. 1986. About 930 out of 274,997 (equivalent to 0.3% or 3.1 prescriptions per day) dispensed drugs were not taken by patients during the period. Department distribution was 56.0% in Internal Medicine, 8.2% Neurology, 6.7% Dermatology and 4.8% Ophthalmology, respectively. Distribution by pharmacological action was 20.0% in Central Nervous System, 14% Digestive System, 13.9% Liver, 13.8% Circulatory System. The Number of days of prescriptions was generally long, such as 28 days(49.8%) and 14 days(13.9%) and average was 19 days, 84.9% of the patients took the drugs within the next 3 days. It was also found that the numbers of untaken drugs on prescribed day increased with increasing waiting time.

      • 임베디드 시스템에서 네트워크 분할을 이용한 프로그램 최적화

        본 논문에서는 프로그램 최적화를 위해 개선된 추론적 부분 중복 제거(SPRE) 알고리즘을 제안했다. 본 논문에서 제안한 SPRE 기법은 컴파일러의 프로필링 기법 등을 통해 얻어진 실행 빈도에 대한 정보를 이용하여 실행 속도 최적화를 수행한다. 제안하는 알고리즘의 첫 번째 목적은 프로그램 실행 시 요구되는 메모리의 감소이며 두 번째는 실행 시간을 감소시키는 것이다. 단지 프로그램의 실행 속도만을 고려하는 경우에는 메모리 요구가 크게 증가하기 때문에 메모리 감소에 대한 고려도 중요하다. 이것은 프로그램을 실행하는데 요구되는 메모리의 크기가 실행 속도 보다 더 중요한 임베디드 시스템에 적합한 최적화 기법이다. 본 논문에서는 제어흐름그래프를 네트워크로 구성하여 분할하는데 사용하는 Min-Cut 알고리즘을 구현한다. This paper improves algorithms of Speculative Partial Redundancy Elimination(SPRE) proposed by Knoop et al. Improving SPRE algorithm performs the execution speed optimization based on the information of the execution frequency from profiling and the memory space optimization. The first purpose of presented algorithm is to reduce in space requirements and the second purpose is to de crease the execution time. Since too much weight on execution speed optimization may cause the explosion of the memory space, it is important to consider the size of memory. This fact can be a big advantage in the embedded system which concerns the required memory size more than the execution speed In this paper we implemented the min-cut algorithm, and this algorithm used the control flow graph is constructed with network and partitioned.
