JETRO의 해외 PR 활동에 관한 연구

This study examines overseas Public Relations activities of JETRO in Japan. JETRO was established in 1958 to implement the task of promoting trade and investment between Japan and foreign nations. By dividing the period into three, 70s, 80s, 90s to the present, it analyzes the characteristics of PR activities of each period and also deals with present conditions. By doing this, the change of focus in overseas PR activities were analyzed. In the early stage of its overseas PR activities, JETRO focused on the market development, exhibitions, publicity of Japanese products for promoting export. But its activities have been changed into the import promotion business, industrial cooperation, technique exchange, investment promotion, trade and industry promotion cooperation of developmental nations and international exchange promotion.

국내외 사회기반시설물 자산관리 사례 분석을 통한 국내 발전 방안

In many developed countries, social infrastructure asset management has become an important issue for the effective operation and management, performance improvement, and providing better quality services. This paper describes infrastructure asset management practices in Korea and in the developed countries. Learning lessons from those countries and improve the asset management practices in Korea is the main theme of this paper. Considering the definition and basic structure of infrastructure asset management, authors have analyzed main concerns regarding infrastructure management, techniques, organizations (systems), and processes. The requirements and considerations are presented to overcome the limitations of current maintenance system. This paper will assist adopting infrastructure asset management in Korea and provide guide for the infrastructure maintenance. 사회기반시설물의 노후화나 성능 저하가 사회적 이슈화가 되면서 효율적인 관리, 운용, 성능향상, 그리고 질 높은 서비스 제공을 위한 자산관리에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내외에서 현재 자산관리가 수행되고 있는 사례와 현황 분석을 통해 국내에 자산관리 도입을 위한 방안을 모색하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 자산관리의 정의와 기본 구성 체계를 고려하여 시설물 관리에 대한 주요 고려사항, 기법, 체계와 프로세스 등을 분석하였다. 그리고, 국내에 현행 유지관리 체계의 한계와 자산관리의 도입을 위해 필요한 고려사항 및 요구사항 등을 제시하였다. 이 논문은 국내에 시설물 자산관리를 효율적으로 적용하는데 상당히 도움이 될 것이며, 나아가 대한민국에 시설물 자산관리 업무나 가이드라인을 도입하기 위해 요구되는 연구 개발 분야를 조명하였다.

지능형 굴삭 시스템을 위한 모바일 3D 이미징 시스템 및 자동 정합 알고리즘의 개발

'지능형 굴삭시스템 개발'은 센서기술, 로봇기술들을 융합하여 토공 작업환경을 인식하고 작업 계획을 수립하며 굴삭기를 자동 조정하여 토공작업을 자동화 하는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구는 지능형 굴삭시스템 개발을 위한 요소기술로서, 광대역 3D 레이저 스캐너를 이용하여 실제 토공 작업환경을 가상의 3차원 공간으로 재현할 수 있는 수학적 모델을 만드는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 광대역 3D 레이저 스캐너를 구동하기 위한 사용자 소프트웨어 및 사용자 인터페이스를 개발하였으며, 3D 레이저 스캐너의 차량 탑재 및 스캐닝 작업의 최적화를 위하여 모바일 3D 이미징 시스템을 개발하였다. 또한 실제 토공 작업환경을 대상으로 스캐닝 실험을 실시하여 스캔 데이터를 획득하였고, 이를 기반으로 각 스캔 데이터들 간의 자동 정합 알고리즘을 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 시스템은 향후 지능형 굴삭 로봇의 완전 자동화 시스템의 구현을 위하여 널리 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The objective of the Intelligent Excavation System (IES) is to recognize the work environment and produce work plan and automatically control the excavator through integrating sensor and robot technologies. This paper discusses one of the core technologies of IES development project, development of 3D work environment modeling. 3D laser scanner is used for 3-dimensional mathematical model that can be visualized in virtual space in 3D. This paper describes (1) how the most appropriate 3D imaging system has been chosen; (2) the development of user interface and customization of the s/w to control the scanner for IES project; (3) the development of the mobile station for the scanner; (4) and the algorithm for the automatic registration of laser scan segments for IES project. The development system has been tested on the construction field and lessons learned and future development requirements are suggested.

A Study of US Residents’ Donation IntentionsDuring the Covid-19 PandemicMyoungjin Chae Abstract: This research examines factors that affect US residents’ donation intentions to children with disabilities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Drawing on prior studies related to the effects of crisis on perceived threat, views on self and others, and prosocial behaviors, the circumstances under which US residents’ donation intentions increase during the pandemic were studied. Using a negative binomial regression model with data collected from 249 participants who live in the US, the results show that perceived threat and perceived importance of helping others increase donation intentions, while self-centeredness negatively affects donation intentions. Moreover, the positive effect of perceived threat on donation intentions is weakened for younger individuals compared to older groups. A more comprehensive study based on diverse factors including perceptions and individual characteristics is required to understand donation intentions under crisis. Does Price Promotion Hurt Products’ Perceived Quality? The Role of Attribute Alignability

Purpose: Previous literature shows that a price promotion serves as a negative cue of product quality especially when consumers have no additional information about the product’s other attributes. In this research, we explore how the effect of price promotions on consumers’ perceptions of product quality changes depending on their ability to compare promoted product attributes with competitive products’ attributes. Research design, data and methodology: Specifically, we use a series of scenario-based lab experiments using different types of products and explore if attribute alignability among competing products in a consumer’s choice set influences consumers’ ability to compare the product attributes and perceived quality. Results: Our study findings show that high attribute alignability among products makes consumers easier to compare the product attributes and thereby focus more on non-price information than price information. We also show that attribute alignability serves as a moderator and decreases perceived quality when the promotion level is higher. Therefore, the attribute alignability weakens the negative impact of a price promotion on consumers’ perceived product quality. Conclusions: Our study findings provide new insights on how to implement price promotion strategies while keeping products’ perceived quality, by considering the product’s relationships with competing products in a choice set.
