인문학 대중화에 대한 비판적 고찰 -“시민인문강좌”를 중심으로-

우리사회에는 현재 인문학의 열풍이라 할 만큼 인문학을 주제로 한 각종 강의와 모임들이 활발하게 진행되고 있고, 다양한 서적들이 출간되고 있으며, 많은 시민들이 이들을 통하여 인문학을 접하고 있다. 그동안 인문학의 대중화에 중요한 역할을 해온 것은 대학의 철학과를 비롯한 각종 수행기관에 의해 진행되고 있는 ‘시민인문강좌’라 할 수 있다. ‘시민인문강좌’는 2007년 정부 주도의 인문학 대중화 사업이 본격화 되면서 급격히 확대되었다. 그 결과 인문학의 대중화와 함께 계층 간·지역 간 문화적 격차를 해소하는데 기여했으며, 다양한 인문학 콘텐츠가 개발되었다. 반면에 정부 지원에의 의존도가 증가하면서 성과를 중요시하는 경향이 나타나고 있으며, 인문학 분야 학문 후속세대의 증가로 이어지지 않고 있다. 그러나 인문학의 학문적 본질과 그것이 실제의 삶에 미치는 영향을 고려할 때 우리 사회에서 ‘시민인문강좌’의 필요성은 다양화되고 있다. 교육적으로는 인간다운 인간을 양성하는 활동으로서의 교육은 그 본성상 인문교육임에도 불구하고 이러한 교육체계를 갖추지 못한 우리 교육을 보완하는 역할을 할 수 있다. 문화적으로는 다문화시대에 나타나는 문화적 차이를 이해하고 문화적 격차를 완화하여 소통과 공존의 계기를 제공할수 있다. 또한 현대인들에게 점증하고 있는 정신적 불안을 치유할 수 있는 치료적 효과를 가질 뿐만 아니라 정치적으로는 민주시민의 양성에 기여할 수 있다. 이러한 필요성을 현실화하기 위해서는 인문학의 대중화에서 한 발 더 나아가 인문학의 일상화를 이루어야 한다. Now, there is a craze for humanities in our society. Many lectures and gatherings dealing with the subject of humanities is held and a wide range of books is published. So now, more and more ordinary citizens are able to access to the humanities more easily through these lectures, gatherings, and books. It is clearly evident that ‘the humanistic education for the citizen’ has been playing a important role in popularizing the humanities. Especially ‘the humanistic education for the citizen’ has expanded rapidly since a government-led project to popularize the humanities started at 2007. Consequently, it contributed to popularizing the humanities, reducing cultural disparity between the various classes and areas, and developing the various humanistic contents. But, as dependence on financial support from the government increased, a trend that attaches importance to achievement is appearing in many institutions which are conducting this project. And the next generation of the humanities division is rather decreasing. But, considering the inward nature of the humanities and an its effect on our actually lives, it is obvious that the need of ‘the humanistic education for the citizen’ is growing in various aspects of our society. From the educational point of view, ‘the humanistic education for the citizen’ can supplement our school education. Because even though an education must be the activity that makes us human, our school education do not play a its role in this respect. With regard to culture, it enables us to understand manifold cultural differences in our society and to communication with each other. And, it has the curative power to heal our mental anxiety symptoms which is developing gradually. Finally, it is able to contribute to cultivate citizens of a democratic country. Further more, in order to actualize these needs, we don’t have to content with the popularization of the humanities, but we must try to be routine for us to access to the humanities.

무관심성의 개념은 칸트의 미학 이론의 발전에 있어서 중심적인 역할을 했을 뿐만 아니라 근대 미학의 특징적인 개념이기도 하다. 따라서 칸트의 미학과 근대 미학을 이해하기 위해서는 무관심성의 개념을 이해하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 칸트에 따르면 어떤 사물의 아름다움을 판단하는 취미판단은 논리적이 아니라 미감적이며 또한 주관적이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 취미판단은 보편 타당성을 주장한다. 그것이 가능한 이유는 바로 취미판단이 무관심적 판단이기 때문이다. 따라서 무관심성은 우리의 미의 경험에 대한 분석과 미에 대한 판단들의 분석에 있어서 그 출발점이 된다고 하겠다. 그러나 무관심성의 개념을 이해하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 무관심성은 객관적으로 검증할 수 없는 개인의 심적 상태이기 때문이다. 그런 까닭에 “무관심성이라는 의미를 부여함에 있어서, 과연 어떤 능력 또는 어떤 의식 내용들 또는 어떤 대상들이 그 무관심성이 나열하는 조건들을 충족시킬 수 있는가?”라는 질문은 여전히 의미를 갖는다. 본 논문은 이러한 무관심성의 개념을 거리의 개념을 이용하여 설명하고, 교육적인 관점에서 무관심성의 현대적 의의를 검토하고자 한다. Disinterestedness is the idea that played a important roll in the development of Kant’s aesthetic theory and that characterizes the modern aesthetics. Therefore, in order to understand Kant’s and modern aesthetics, first of all, we must understand the idea of disinterestedness. According to Kant, the judgement of taste that judge the beautiful of a thing is not logic but aesthetic and subjective. Nevertheless, the judgment of taste reasonably demands the universal validity because of its disinterestedness. Accordingly, disinterestedness must be the starting point in the analysis of the aesthetic experiences and the judgements of beauty. But understanding the idea of disinterestedness is not easy. Because disinterestedness is the private mental state that cannot be verified objectively. Therefore, the following question has a significance as ever: ‘What abilities, what conscious contents, or what objects can meet the requirements that the disinterestedness demands?’ In this paper, I want to explain the idea of disinterestedness with the idea of distance and examine its significance from an educational point of view.

코카인은 인체신경의 신호전달을 막아 진통을 차단한다. 코카인용액을 눈에 넣으면 마취효과 뿐만 아니라 동공확대 능력을 지니고 있어 눈수술에 활용했고 그 후에는 치과수술에도 사용하게 되었다. 그러나 아직도 이상적인 국부마취제는 만들지 못하고 있다. 우리나라 어느 화학연구소에서는 최근 몇년간 무중독증 마취약 개발을 한창 진행하고 있어 크게 기대되고 있다.

혈액형에 따라 사람의 성품도 차이가 나며 특수질병과도 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져있다. 이에 따라 배우자를 선택할 때 상대방 혈액형을 한번쯤 알아보는 것이 보통이며 이를 성격과 연관지어 생각하기도 한다. 혈액형은 혈액내 적혈구막을 형성하는 당단백질의 형태의 의해 결정된다.
