A Selection of PM-LSM Topology Structure for Ropeless Elevator System

One of the most important technical improvement required for ropeless elevator system to become practical is the improvements in overall system efficiency. Moreover, the predominant drawback of permanent magnet (PM) linear synchronous motor (LSM) is large detent force. Therefore, for the given volume the selection of high power density PM-LSM with low detent force is very imperative. In this paper, we will investigate the characteristics of thrust and detent force of PM-LSM under different motor topology structure. Finally, the long stator double-sided iron core type PM-LSM with fractional slot winding is the best choice for the ropeless elevator system.

Thrust ripples in Permanent Magnet Linear Motor(PMLSM) are mainly generated by cogging force. Cogging force caused by the interaction between the iron core and the Permanent Magnet(PM), and end effect. This paper has proposed a control method for thrust ripples suppression and design of one-chip proceeding digital controller using TMS320LF2407. This control method is realized by Field Oriented Control(FOC) adding to current compensation. The effectiveness of proposed control method is verified by experimentation comparing between the compensation and non-compensation.

This paper presents the dynamic vibration analysis of axial-flux permanent magnet synchronous motors(AFPMSMs). The major sources of vibration in electric machines such as motors and generators are the magnetic force and mechanical geometric shape. To decrease the mechanical vibration in AFPMSMs, we proposed an advanced design method considering the coupled-field analysis of the electromagnetic and mechanical problems encountered for both the rotor and stator. By the proposed method, the AFPMSM was analyzed, and characteristics such as the magnetic force, natural frequencies, mode shapes, and deformation were studied. This study has accomplished the dynamic vibration analysis of AFPMSMs.

최근 에너지 절감과 환경규제에 따른 방전등의 대체 조명으로 각광 받고 있는 LED를 사용할 경우 LED의 높은 전력효율에 의한 에너지 절감과, 긴 수명으로 유지보수비용을 절감할 수 있다. 따라서LED 광원의 가장 큰 문제점인 온도상승을 해결하기 위하여 PWM제어를 통하여 일정한 온도 이상의 상승을 방지하는 구동 회로를 설계하였다.
