Characterization of Odontoblasts in Supernumerary Tooth-derived Dental Pulp Stem Cells between Passages by Real-Time PCR

이 연구의 목적은 발거 된 매복 상악 과잉치에서 얻은 치수유래 줄기세포의 초기 계대와 후기 계대의 상아질모세포 유전자의 특성을 알아보는 것이다. 전신 의과 병력이 없는 6 - 9세 사이의 남녀아이 12명에게서 서면동의를 얻고 모두 상악에 위치한 과잉치를 발거하여 당일 발거된 과잉치의 치수세포를 채취하였다. 12개의 세포를 각각 3계대와 10계대에서 골형성 유도 분화제를 처리한 군과 처리하지 않은 군을 나누어 실시간 중합효소 연쇄반응을 시행하여 상아질모세포의 특성을 알아보았다. 사용된 유전자는 osteonectin (ONT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), osteocalcin (OCN), dentin matrix protein 1 (DMP-1), 그리고 dentin sialophosphoprotein (DSPP)였다. 유전자 발현양은, 분화제를 처리하지 않은 군 3계대에서는 ONT, ALP, OCN, DMP-1, DSPP순서로 많이 발현하였다. 분화제를 처리하지 않은 군 10계대에서는 ONT, DMP-1, OCN, ALP, DSPP순으로 ONT, OCN, DSPP의 순서에는 변화가 없지만 ALP, DMP-1의 순서는 서로 바뀌었다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때, ALP와 DMP-1은 3계대와 10계대 세포의 분화를 위한 중요한 표지자로 사용될 수 있다. 과잉치 치수유래 줄기세포는 상아질모세포의 특성을 가지며, 또한 과잉치가 어린 나이에 발거되고 10계대까지 소요되는 시간이 적게 걸린다는 것을 고려하면, 과잉치는 치아 유래 줄기세포의 공여부로서 훌륭한 활용가능성이 있음을 확인하였다. The aim of this study is to compare the properties of odontoblast gene of early passage cells and late passage cells derived from impacted maxillary supernumerary teeth. Impacted supernumerary teeth with maxilla were extracted from 12 patients (8 males, 4 females) between 6 - 9 years old without medical history. Real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was conducted to compare characterization of odontoblast cell in the 3rd and 10th passage, and between with bone inducing additive group and without additive group. Genes for odontoblasts characteristics are osteonectin (ONT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), osteocalcin (OCN), dentin matrix protein 1 (DMP-1) and dentin sialophosphoprotein (DSPP). The level of gene expression was in a decreasing order of ONT, ALP, OCN, DMP-1 and DSPP in the 3rd passage, and in decreasing order of ONT, DMP-1, OCN, ALP, and DSPP in the 10th passage in the undifferentiation and differentiation group. The order of ONT, DMP-1, and OCN did not changed. ALP and DMP-1 were switched in order. ALP and DMP-1 may be used as important markers for differentiating between the 3rd passage and 10th passage cells. Considering that supernumerary tooth was extracted young age and the time required to cultured 10th passage was short, supernumerary tooth can be considered a useful donor site of dental pulp stem cells.

Through the theoretical study on Sa-sang constitutional medicine from a evolutionary point of view, the result was obtained as follows. 1. The system of Sa-Sim-Sin-Mul(事心身物) in Sa-sang constitutional medicine is similar to the theory of evolution of Teilhard de Chardin. 2. The concept of Yin and Yang in Sa-sang constitutional medicine can be set up by the demand and necessity in the progress of evolution and the time of the differentiation of functions. 3. The Sung-Jung(性情) of each Sa-sang constitution can be explained as the strategy and form survival. 4. The theory of physiology, pathology and therapy in Sa-sang constitutional medicine can be hypothesized by the evolutionary standards which are related with the thermo-metabolism and hematopoietic-immune system.

소아환자에서 경비 캐눌라를 이용한 세보플루란 흡입 진정

A total of 14 children who visited the department of Pediatric dentistry of Dankook University Dental Hospital from January, 2012 to May, 2012 and decided to get dental treatment under inhalation sevoflurane deep sedation, were studied to determine the effectiveness of end-tidal sevoflurane, respiratory and cardiovascular function to analyze monitoring sheets. The Heart rate (H.R) data were mean 101.4 rate/min (76.4-135.4 rate/min). The systolic blood pressure data mean were 96.9 mmHg (84.2-109.2 mmHg) and diastolic blood pressure data mean were 50.5 mmHg (34.0-62.0 mmHg). The Respiration rate (R.R) data mean were 24.4 rate/min (15.0-36.7 rate/min). The SpO2 data mean were 99.4% (97.5-100.0%). The end tidal CO2 (ETCO2) data mean were 27.8 mmHg (16.4-38.0 mmHg). The end-tidal sevoflurane data mean were 1.9 vol% (1.0-3.4 vol%). 본 연구는 단국대학교 치과병원 소아치과에 2012년 1월부터 2012년 5월까지 내원한 환자 중 세보플루란을 이용한 깊은진정으로 치과치료를 받은 환자 총 14명의 마취기록지를 분석하여 적정 수준의 진정을 얻기 위한 유효한 세보플루란의 농도를 측정하고 진정 과정 중의 호흡 및 심혈관계 평가를 통해 안정성을 평가해 보고자 함에 있다. 심박수(Heart rate)는 평균 101.4회/분(76.4~135.4회/분)을 보였다. 혈압(Blood pressure)은 수축기혈압은 평균96.9 mmHg(84.2~109.2 mmHg), 이완기혈압은 평균 50.5 mmHg(34.0~62.0 mmHg)를 보였다. 호흡수(Respiration rate)는 평균 24.4회/분(15.0~36.7회/분)을 보였다. 산소포화도(SpO2)는 평균 99.4%(97.5~100.0%)를보였다. 호기말 이산화탄소 농도(end tidal CO2 volume; ETCO2)는 평균 27.8 mmHg(16.4~38.0 mmHg)를 보였다. 호기말 세보플루란 농도(end tidal sevoflurane volume)는 평균 1.9 vol%(1.0~3.4 vol%)를 보였다.

종합조립동 기계지원시스템과 발사체 접속장치는 한국형발사체의 지상 운용을 위해 필요한 지상점검 장비이다. 특히, 기계지원시스템 중 발사체 접속장치와 고압유연배관은 발사체의 공압시험을 위해 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 발사체 접속장치와 고압유연배관에 대하여 소개하였다. The mechanical support equipments and launch vehicle connection unit are necessary to a ground support equipments for the KSLV-Ⅱ ground operation. In particular, launch vehicle connection unit and high-pressure flexible hose of mechanical support equipments are necessary for the flow test of KSLV-Ⅱ. In this paper, launch vehicle connection unit and high-pressure flexible hose are introduced.

윈도우즈 환경에서의 실시간 데이터 수집 시스템 구축: 공포조건화를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to materialize a realtime data acquisition system for the fear conditioning paradigm on Microsoft Windows environment. A high speed digital input output card (National Instruments Inc., PCI-6534) and a multi-function input output card (National Instruments Inc., PCI-6040E) were used. To synchronize the cards, a LabVIEW-based program was developed. Theoretical and practical techniques used for the construction of realtime data acquisition system were described. The system revealed to be stable and reliable for the realtime data acquisition. 본 연구에서는 고가의 실시간 시스템용 장비를 사용하지 않고, 고속 디지털 입/출력(high speed digital input output, DIO) 카드와 다기능 입/출력(multi-function input output, MIO) 카드를 동기화시키는 기법을 이용하여 공포조건화 중에 신경활동을 측정할 수 있는 실시간 측정 시스템을 개발하였다. 하드웨어들의 동기화를 위하여 윈도우즈(Mircosoft Inc.) 환경에서 측정, 제어 등에 사용되고 있는 그래픽 언어인 LabVIEW(National Instruments Inc.)가 사용되었다. 본 연구에 사용된 방법은 상대적으로 적은 비용 하에서, 논리적 정확성을 보장하고, 시간적인 지연을 최소화하는 실시간 측정 시스템 구축을 가능하게 한다.

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is the state which develops after complications with the infection from HIV. Irrespective of their state, all HIV infections have infectivity. According to a 2013 U.N. AIDS global report, the number of reported newly infected with HIV is constantly falling, while that of Korea has been increasing over recent years and it surpassed 10,000 in 2013. This phenomenon might be attributed to the unusualness of the blood test for early detection of HIV infection. From this fact, we can assume that we have strong possibilities for encounters with infections in the office. But many misconceptions about the disease makes patients try to hide their medical history, which can lead to a nationwide spread of the infection without proper management. Even though it may be difficult to take care of HIV patients in smaller dental offices, large scale hospitals have the means to arrange protocols to treat them. We present a case about dental treatment of a patient with AIDS that has a history of cerebral infarction and hepatitis type B under general anesthesia. The purpose of this case report was to discuss the special considerations of dental care for patients with HIV.

Purpose This study was carried out ro apply the knowledge of bioinformatics to the quantification of constitutional information. Methods To objectify consitirutional knowledge, several uselful methods including Bayesian estimate, position specific score matrix, entropy, phylogenetic tree, simulated annealing were discussed. Results and Conclusion It is obvious that bioinformatic methods can be the most important tool for the objectification of constitutional medicine.
