For dealing them more properly, TGIS need specified data and specialized data handling method. This paper suggest Optimize data of Train Monitoring System and Apply that to Main Line Car.

FMEA(Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) is a failure analysis method for the system to identify the potential failure modes, and their effects and causes to reduce or mitigate the critical effects of the system. FMEA for railway was introduced with reliability of railway system, and this was used for identifying and analysing the possible hazards qualitatively to meet the requirements in early stage of business. In general, the overall failure data of system could be managed from design stage by FMEA, and also the countermeasures to prevent many predicted failures could be established by identification of failure modes and assement of failure effects by FMEA. Using these advantages of FMEA, the effectiveness of reliability improvement could be expected if FMEA is applied continuously in operation stage. It is essential that railway vehicles are maintained with high level of safety and reliability not to happen any failures in operation. This paper is proposed the proper FMEA for maintenance of railway vehicles compared with existing FMEA.

Railway vehicle is very important to implement the effective maintenance in proper to prevent any failure during operation period. Many railway authorities are making efforts to maintain the railway vehicle through scientific and systematic procedure. To achieve this, Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM) is partially applied. The efficiency of RCM has proven and its terminology was familiar with nuclear power, military and chemical plant etc. since the commercial aircraft"s industries has introduced the maintenance program based on the target of reliability. The application of RCM on railway vehicle can be utilized with systematic analysis method to select the best effective maintenance period and action to prevent the failures by selecting the equipment affecting the its safety and reliability. This paper is presented that the procedure of adequate and effective maintenance for railway vehicle by comparing among the related standards in example IEC60300-3,11, MIL-STD-2173, and technical documents or papers. In accordance with above result, RCM procedure is proposed to apply effectively for maintenance of railway vehicle. That is, (1) Analysis of data and Calculation of criticality per equipment (2) Selection of equipment to analyze (3) Analysis of failure mode and effect (4) Evaluation of maintenance method and period (5) Optimization of maintenance program through renewal of maintenance method and period.

Vanadium, a dietary micronutrient, has been reported to present interesting biological and pharmacological properties, including superoxide and nitric oxide scavenging effects. Low-dose ionizing radiation (LDR) is known to damage DNA and cause apoptosis of peripheral immunocytes by producing reactive oxygen species (ROS). The aim of this study was to elucidate the capacity of immune activation of Jeju water containing vanadium on immunosuppression caused by LDR. We examined the ROS production, DNA damage, cell apoptosis and proliferation of peripheral immunocytes in irradiated mice drinking different concentrations for 90 days; V0 (vanadium 0㎍/L, control), V1 (vanadium 15~20㎍/ L) and V2 (vanadium 20∼25㎍/L). Compared to V0 control where level of ROS showed tendency to increase, the ROS production was attenuated in peripheral immunocytes of irradiated mice drinking V1 and V2. DNA damage of peripheral immunocytes triggered by LDR significantly increased in mice drinking V0 compared to non-irradiated control, whereas V1 and V2 dramatically induced remission of DNA damage. On the observation of apoptosis of peripheral immunocytes, V1 and V2 showed the potency to reduce the number of apoptotic cells. On the other hand irradiated mice drinking V0 exhibited raised number of apoptotic cells. From the results obtained, we speculated that Jeju water containing vanadium (V1 and V2) has a potential role in decreasing DNA damage and apoptosis of immune cell by inhibiting ROS production. Consistent with this, Jeju water containing vanadium (V1 and V2) exhibits a capacity to enhance cell proliferation of peripheral immunocytes, which is suppressed by LDR as shown in V0 control. Collectively, Jeju water containing vanadium reduced DNA damage and apoptosis and induced the stimulatory potential on immunocytes. Theseresults suggest that Jeju water containing vanadium sustained immune activities under immunosuppression caused by LDR.

전동차에 사용되는 계전기의 수명은 사용환경에 대한 영향인자에 따라 많은 차이를 보인다. 그러나 계전기 제작사에서는 사용환경이 고려되지 않은 전기적/기계적 동작횟수를 기준으로 수명사항을 제시하기 때문에 철도 운영기관에서는 계전기 유지보수에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 코레일공항철도 전동차 계전기를 대상으로 계전기별 사용환경에 따른 가중치를 부여하고 통계프로그램을 이용하여 고장이력에 따른 수명을 접목시킴으로써 공항철도 사용환경에 부합하는 수명을 예측하여 효율적인 유지관리방안을 제시하고자 한다. The life of the electrical relays used in the electric train (EMU) has a variance depending on a lot of environmental factors. However, the manufacturers of the relays generally presented their life based on electrical/mechanical operation frequency without considering environmental factors. So, maintenance companies are facing much difficulty on the maintenance for the relays. In this paper, An efficient maintenance of the relays used in the Korail Airport Railroad’s EMU was suggested by considering environmental factors suitable for Korail Airport Railroad’s operation condition It matched the weighted values considered environmental factors (Criticality, Risk, Number of operations, Time of operation, Thermal condition) to the life prediction of the relays obtained by using a commercial statistics software.
