YBCO-Ag 복합초전도체의 강도, 파괴인성 및 초전도성질에 관한 연구

We have studied the effect of Ag additions on the microstructure and the related mechanical and supercon¬ducting properties of $ YBa_{2}$$Cu_{3}$$O_{7-\delta}$ (YBCO) superconductors. A 5-15 vol.% of Ag was added to YBCO in the forms of Ag and $AgNO_{3}$, powder and the resultant microstructural evolution was evaluated. It was observed that the strength and fracture toughness of YBCO increased with increasing Ag content. These improvements in strength and fracture toughness are believed to be due to the strengthening mechanisms caused by the presence of Ag. In addition, YBCO-Ag composite superconductors showed higher values of strength and fracture toughness when Ag was added in the form of AgNO, than those of which was added Ag. The higher mechanical properties of YBCO- Ag resulting from $AgNO_{3}$, addition are probably due to the microstructure of more finely and uniformly distributed Ag particles. The addition of Ag also showed slightly improved critical current density of YBCO superconductors.

Soil erosion in the hilly and mountainous uplands in the Daekwanryong area, Kangwon-Do, were investigated through a field plot experiment. The plot size was 15m long and 2.5m wide with the average slope of 12.5 percents. Soil erodibility factor (K), surface coverage (SC), soil aggregate percentage and wind erodibility (I) were evaluated in the mountainous soils under different management practices for corn and potato cultivations. Soil erodibility factor (K) was greater in upper part than in lower part of the plots. Surface coverage (SC) values ranged from 0.01 to 0.84 depending on the amounts of crop residues. Soils having a greater crop residue in surface were less subjected to soil erosion. SC values after corn harvest were 0.4 to 0.8, while those after potato harvest were 0.4 to 0.5, indicating potato might be better than corn for erosion control. Soil aggregate percentages of the experimental plots ranged from 49.7 to 79.8%. Those were higher in potato-cultivated plots with higher surface coverage, organic fertilizer treatment and contour tillage. Soil aggregate percentage of potato-cultivated plots was significantly correlated to crop residue coverage after harvest. The dried soil aggregate percentage, showing the ranges of 26.4 to 56.4%, were higher in the plots with the increased crop residue incorporation. Wind erodibility (I) of the soil was decreased with increasing surface coverage. When soil had 26.4% of the dried aggregate percentage, wind erodibility was estimated to be $183Mgha^{-1}$ which was equivalent to soil loss of $0.5Mg\ha^{-1}day^{-1}$.
도시하천별 우수처리 용량과 수해 정책방향에 관한 연구 : 서울시 사례를 중심으로

This paper aims to suggest a policy direction for reducing urban flood hazards. Specifically, the study establishes a runoff carrying capacity model that considers the openness of urban streams and applies it to the city of Seoul, Korea. The policy scenarios are presented and evaluated based on the results. The models presented in this paper accurately forecast 16 of 19 river basins. Moreover, policy scenarios for Seoul are suggested and assessed to mitigate flooding in the area. Thus, this paper demonstrates that expanding an alternative green area while simultaneously adjusting the slope of the local urban stream is an effective policy.

목적: 축외인 대뇌 뇌고랑에서 유래한 역형성 뇌수막종의 직접적인 안와 침범은 이전에 보고된 적이 없어 안와 종양의 감별진단에 도움이 될 것으로 생각되어 1예를 보고하고자 한다. 증례요약: 83세 여자 환자가 좌안 안구돌출과 이마 부위의 촉진되는 종괴로 진료를 보았다. 뇌컴퓨터단층촬영 검사에서 육종으로 의심되는 커다란 종괴가 보였고, 주변 조직을 직접적으로 침범하고 있었다. 머리뼈절개술을 통해 종괴를 제거하였다. 종괴는 경막외와 경막내 공간, 뇌실질, 피하조직, 좌측 관자근, 안와 천장과 중간선을 넘어 반대쪽 이마엽 침범 소견을 보였다. 인공 천장 뼈와 골 시멘트를 이용하여 안와 천장을 재건하고, 두개성형술을 시행하였다. 최종 조직학적 진단은 역형성 뇌수막종이었다. 수술 1개월 후, 좌측안구는 원위치로 복원되었고, 좌안의 시력과 안구운동도 회복되었다. 결론: 축외인 대뇌 뇌고랑에서 유래한 역형성 뇌수막종의 직접적인 안와 침범은 드물다. 하지만 빠른 속도로 자라는 안와 종괴의 감별진단에서 고려되어야 할 것으로 보인다. <대한안과학회지 2016;57(11):1781-1785> Purpose: We report the first case of extra-axial anaplastic meningioma with direct orbital extension for differential diagnosis of orbital tumors. Case summary: An 83-year-old woman presented with a protruding left eye and a palpable mass on the forehead. A brain computed tomography scan revealed a huge sarcomatous mass that had directly invaded the surrounding tissues. We removed the tumor by craniotomy and found that it involved the extradural and intradural spaces, brain parenchyma, subcutaneous tissue, left temporalis, orbital roof, and the other frontal lobe across the midline. A cranioplasty was performed, and the orbital roof was reconstructed with artificial bone and bone cement. The final histological diagnosis was anaplastic meningioma. The left eyeball was restored to its normal position 1 month after the surgery. Also, visual acuity and eye movement of the left eye were preserved. Conclusions: Direct orbital extension of originated extra-axial cerebral convexity anaplastic meningioma is rare but should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a rapidly growing orbital mass.
