        In this paper, the design of the icon-oriented system for visual environments is described The corn ponents of this system have selected the icon system, the icon table, the operator table, the task grain. mer, the icon interpreter, and user interface. This paper attempts to address the formal spocif minions of icons, and the algorithms to need the design of the system. The icon-oriented system is an interactive software system for the specification, interpretation, and generation of icon sentence.

        In this paper, as a part of a user interface management system has designed and implemented display- oriented system under MS-DOS. The user interface component for this system has used the window manager, the menu manager, and the process manager. The method of windows have implemented tiled and overlapped. The method of menus have implemented pop-up and pulidown. Execution of a command process is done by the command interpreter(COMMAND. COM). Using this system, end user can execute a command by a menu text through CRT screen interactively.

        According to the rapid development of internet and communication technologies, although accessing information on the Web is becoming popular recently, heterogeneous databases have been the factors that prevent effective application programming. For developing several techniques and carrying out works efficiently in distributed should be guarantee various interpreting system for using these databases. In order to solve these, this paper proposed the intelligence interface agent that integrate of heterogeneous databases. Proposed an intelligent interface agent is splitted interface agent, task agents, and information agent. Each task agent modules to access heterogeneous databases in distributed environments is designed HTML, PL/SQL and MSM languages.

        말레인산 에날라프릴 정제의 용출률 및 함량균일성 평가

        Drug effect is depend on bioavailability of preparation and also bioavailability is largely depend on dissoution rate. This study was attempted to evaluate bioavailability of preparations for drug choice among many preparations by the dissolution test and content uniformity test of commercial enalapril maleate tablets. The dissolution test was conducted in artificial gastric juice and dissolution medium (USP) using Paddle method with five enalapril maleate preparations (A, B, C, D and E) which were pharmaceutically equivalent. The results were as follows : 1) The dissolution rate in artificial gastric juice was higher in order of five different brands B > D > E > A > C. 2) The dissolution rate in dissolution medium (USP) was higher in order of five different brands E > B > D > A > C. 3) Content uniformity of five different brands was better in such order as E > B > C > D > A.

        This paper has described the design of the graphical user interface resource managers for a visual environments. The resource elements have selected dialog boxes, menus, icons, bitmaps, and cursors. The functions of the resource managers are presented a window to create and edit iconic symbols in given window areas. The dialog box resource manager is composed of a dialog box, the Tools palette, the Alignment palette, and etc. The icon, the bitmap, and the cursor resource manager are composed the editing area of graphical environments, the Tool palette, the color palette and etc. The manger's menu in the resource manager can define the common menus provided to the user by the application.

        Many visual programming languages and visual environments designed for non-experts have been proposed in recent years. 'this paper presents a system to generate and interpret customized visual sentence in given visual environments. The user presents a set of sample visual sentences to visual environments of this loon-oriented system. This system is constructed by various essential elements. Visual sentence generation uses inference grammar techniques to produce a grammar, and exploits general semantic information about the application area to determine the meaning of the visual sentences in the inferred language. The interpreter is modeled on an attribute grammar.

        In this paper, the menu management is implemented for the development of display-oriented system under MS-DOS on an IBM-PC. Menu is divided into the mian menu, the submenu, the taskmenu, and the helpmenu. The main menu is applied to a static menu. The submenu, the taskmenu, and the helpmenu are applied to a dynamic menu. When a menu screen is activated, it ovenvites what is currently on the screen. After the selection from menu screen is executed, the screen is restored to its previous states. User can select an item from menu screen either by using the arrow keys or by pressing a hot key. This menu functions developed in this paper are designed to be used in 80^(*) 25 text mode.

        For interprocess communication mechanism of distributed system, I selected a message-based method. This method handles object easily, and flexibly under distributed environments. This study discuss the elements of the message-based method, such as port management, messages, message buffering. primitive for message passing, memory allocation. Also, this study discuss the minimum elements, a semaphore, a process synchonization problems, which of a microcomputer operating system will support a distributed resources.

      • 종합병원 외래환자 다제병용에 관한 실태조사

        This study was accomplished to obtain the basic materials about polypharmacy-related drug interaction and side effect. The polypharmacy in relation to the route of drug administration, dosage form, clinical department and age was surveyed with the 1,632 outpatients in Chonnam University Hospital at one day of January, March and May in 1991. On the route of drug administration, internal medicine occupied 81.2%, the combination of internal medicine & external medicine 7.3%, external medicine 3.9%, injection 3.8% and the combination of internal medicine & injection 3.4%. On drug dosage form, internal medicine occupied 92.1%, injection 7.6% and external medicine 11.6%. The case to use 4 drugs occupied the highest value of 26.2% and the case to use 1 drug 8.4%. The highest number of used drug was 14 and 90% of the patients used less than 6 drugs. The average number of used drug per patient was 4.2. The average number of used drug in ophthalmological department was the lowest value of 2.4, in surgical department 4.4, in internal medical department 4.7 and in neurological department the highest value of 5.7. The average number of used drug in infants and pediatrics was 2.8, in 15-20 year old youth 3.6, in 21-60 year old adults 4.3 and in above 61 year old geriatrics 4.7. As age increased, the number of used drug tended to increase.
