In this study the optimization of a NFR suspension is performed using finite element method and experimental modal analysis. NFR suspensions are required to have low compliance modes to allow the slider to comply with the rotating disk, and high tracking stiffness modes to maximize the servo bandwidth of the tracking controller First of all, the dual suspension model is designed based on the characteristics of NFR drives. And the parametric study on the sensitivities of compliance modes and tracking stiffness modes is investigated. Finally, the model satisfying static characteristics is selected and shape optimization is performed to improve dynamic characteristics. A prototype of a NFR suspension is made by etching and modal ekperiment in free state is performed. The results of experiment almost agree with those of finite element method.
Latent Keyphrase Extraction Using Deep Belief Networks

Nowadays, automatic keyphrase extraction is considered to be an important task. Most of the previous studies focused only on selecting keyphrases within the body of input documents. These studies overlooked latent keyphrases that did not appear in documents. In addition, a smallnumberofstudiesonlatentkeyphraseextractionmethodshadsomestructurallimitations. Although latent keyphrases do not appear in documents, they can still undertake an important roleintextminingbecausetheylinkmeaningfulconceptsorcontentsofdocumentsandcanbe utilized in short articles such as social network service, which rarely have explicit keyphrases. In this paper, we propose a new approach that selects qualified latent keyphrases from input documents and overcomes some structural limitations by using deep belief networks in a supervised manner. The main idea of this approach is to capture the intrinsic representations of documents and extract eligible latent keyphrases by using them. Our experimental results showed that latent keyphrases were successfully extracted using our proposed method.

In this study, an effective method for reliability-based design optimization (RBDO) is proposed enhancing sequential optimization and reliability assessment (SORA) method by convex approximations. In SORA, reliability estimation and deterministic optimization are performed sequentially. The sensitivity and function value of probabilistic constraint at the most probable point (MPP) are obtained in the reliability analysis loop. In this study, the convex approximations for probabilistic constraint are constructed by utilizing the sensitivity and function value of the probabilistic constraint at the MPP. Hence, the proposed method requires much less function evaluations of probabilistic constraints in the deterministic optimization than the original SORA method. The efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method were verified through numerical examples.

Nonylphenol is one of endocrine disruptors, as structurally stable, hydrophobic compounds exhibit high condensability and long-lasting in the natural environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the toxic effects of nonylphenol on Daphnia magna. In acute toxicity test, D. magna was exposed for 48 h at concentrations of 0, 10, 18, 32, 56 and 100 μg L-1 nonylphenol. In chronic toxicity test, D. magna were exposed through water for 21 days at concentrations of 0, 1.0, 1.8, 3.2, 5.6 and 10 μg L-1 nonylphenol. Acute toxicity was assessed on the basis of immobility, while chronic toxicity was assessed on the basis of fecundity. The acute toxicity test on nonylphenol was showed that the values of 24 h and 48 h EC50 were 25.0 μg L-1 and 13.7 μg L-1, respectively. In chronic test, fecundity was reduced significantly at 5.6 μg L-1 of nonylphenol. These results indicated that nonylphenol have some hazard for acute or chronic toxicity to freshwater invertebrate organism.
크리깅 메타모델과 유전알고리즘을 이용한 신뢰도 계산 및 신뢰도기반 최적설계

In this study, effective methods for reliability estimation and reliability-based design optimization(RBDO) are proposed using kriging metamodel and genetic algorithm. In our previous study, we proposed the accurate method for reliability estimation using two-staged kriging metamodel and genetic algorithm. In this study, the possibility of applying the previously proposed method to RBDO is investigated. The efficiency and accuracy of that method were much improved than those of the first order reliability method(FORM). Finally, the effective method for RBDO is proposed and applied to numerical examples. The results are compared to the existing RBDO methods and shown to be very effective and accurate.
