This paper is the comparative study on the influence of wind load and seismic load by a various forms and scales of a structure. The porpose of this paper is to give a help to structure designers or the ethers engaged in the similiar fields by conjecturing to the influence of each loads on structure by comparing of all sorts of conditions and characteristics of each loads according as a farms and scales of structure are change. For this propose, we are progress to thin paper as following conception. 1. The greatest difference between wind load and seismic load is that the wind load is proportioned to the outer surface of wind direction, but on the other hand seismic load is ◁그림삽입▷(원문을 참조하세요) proportioned to weight of the structure. Therefore we are catches that the influence of wind and seismic load is seized by the total side length. 2. And the perpendicular distribution of total lateral force is a great difference between the two (figure 1.) therefore if the workings of the top-store lateral force are same, we are also catched, the influence of wind load is dominating. In that manner, the conclusions of this study are as follow. Generally, wind load is dominating in high-rise building's design, but on the other hand seismic load is dominating in low-rise building's design. But the sufficient considerations on the total length of side span are inevitably necessary. Also, structure of 1-span is always governed with wind load
