응집 및 Fenton 산화공정을 연계한 축산폐수처리에 관한 연구
조창우,유재웅,정팔진 한국물환경학회 2004 한국물환경학회지 Vol.20 No.6
The objective of this study was to remove organics and color in livestock wastewater using coagulation and Fenton oxidation process. After coagulation process as 1^(st) treatment, organics in 1^(st) treatment water were removed by using OH radical produced in Fenton oxidation process. Removal efficiencies of COD_(Mn) and color were 87.2% and 95.7% separately. At that time, the ratio of Fe^(2+)/ H₂O₂ was 0.8∼1.0, and range of reaction pH was effective at the pH of 3.5∼3.8. The Reaction time of 120min more than 60min or 90min was sufficient in Fenton process. Removal efficiency of organics was higher two- or multi-stage treatment than one-stage treatment.

Recently, stoichiometric and organocatalytic variants of allylic substitutions of Morita-Baylis-Hillman (MBH) acetates via an SN2'-SN2' tandem mechanism have come to light. Different types of nucleophiles such as TsNH₂, phthalimides (N-based nucleophiles), dialkyl malonates, 2-silyloxyfuran (C-based nucleophiles), and phenols (O-based nucleophiles) have been reported in the organocatalytic allylic substitutions of MBH acetates. However, to the best of our knowledge, there are no examples stating the use of pyrroles as N-based heterocyclic nucleophiles in the organocatalytic allylic substitutions of MBH acetates, even though pyrroles are important moieties in many natural products, pharmaceuticals, and materials. Here, the first examples of organocatalytic allylic substitutions using pyrroles as N-based heterocyclic nucleophiles for the synthesis of various α-methylene-β-pyrroles esters will be discussed.

The Ba0.5Ca0.5TiO3 (BCT) composition dependent dielectric and structural properties of (1-x)K0.5Na0.5NbO3-xBa0.5Ca0.5TiO3 powders were investigated. Room temperature x-ray diffraction revealed the powder structure to transform from orthorhombic to cubic with increasing BCT composition. The frequency dependent dielectric constant measurements revealed a shift in the temperature of the maximum dielectric constant for at frequencies, suggesting that the system exhibits ferroelectric relaxor behavior. The system containing 15% BCT showed the closest calculated CurieeWeiss exponent to 2, which the exponent for a relaxor ferroelectric.

L-asparaginase (EC 3.5.1.1) catalyzes the hydrolysis of the amide group of L-asparagine, releasing aspartate and NH4+. We isolated a low temperature-inducible cDNA sequence encoding L-asparaginase from soybean leaves. The full-length L-asparaginase cDNA, designated GmASP1, contains an open reading frame of 1,258 bp coding for a protein of 326 amino acids. Genomic DNA blotting and fluorescence in situ hybridization showed that the soybean genome has two copies of GmASP1. GmASP1 mRNA was induced by low temperature, ABA and NaCl, but not by heat shock or drought stress. E. coli cells expressing recombinant GmASP1 had 3-fold increased L-asparaginase activity. A possible function of L-asparaginase in the early response to low temperature stress is discussed.

It is necessary to assess and manage the different elements of the marine ecosystem, such as climate change, habitat, primary and secondary production, energy flow, food web, potential yield, and fishing, to maintain the health of the ecosystem as well as support sustainable development of fishery. We set up an ecosystem model around the Korean peninsula to produce scientific predictions necessary for the assessment and management of marine ecosystems and presented the usability of the model with scenario experiments. We used the Atlantis ecosystem model based on the marine food web; Atlantis is a three-dimensional end-to-end model that includes the information and processes within an entire system, from an abiotic environment to human activity. We input the ecological and biological parameters, such as growth, mortality, spawning, recruitment, and migration, to the Atlantis model via functional groups using existing research and local measurements. During the simulation period (2018-2019), we confirmed that the model reproduced the observed data reasonably and reflected the actual ecosystem characteristics appropriately. We thus identified the usability of a marine ecosystem model with experiments on different environmental change scenarios.
