        A study on flow control valve characteristics in an oil hydraulic vane pump for power steering systems

        In the power steering system of an automobile, the balanced and fixed displacement type vane pump is principally applied to the mainpower source. It is driven by a pulley that is attached to the shaft of the vehicle's engine, and the pulley ratio is about 1:1. The vane pumpcontinuously discharges an outlet flow rate proportional to the rotating speed of the engine. In a vane pump without the flow controlvalve, an increase in the discharge flow rate means a linear increase in the actuator speed. At high speed when the driver rotates the steeringwheel by even a small amount, there is a high risk of an accident due to the quick rotation of the tire joined to the actuator and links. We designed a flow control valve of the fixed displacement and pressure balanced type vane pump for power steering is designed andsimulated using AMESim software. Its theoretical flow characteristics with respect to the rotating speed of the engine are compared andvalidated with experimental data. The results show that the design parameters, such as the flow area, the underlap length, the spool clearance,the main spring stiffness and the spring initial force, largely affect the flow control characteristics.

        The influence of boundary conditions on the lubrication characteristics of a journal bearing for reciprocating compressors

        The performance of a reciprocating compressor in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems is influenced by the lubrication characteristicsof the critical sliding components. Improvements in design and performance of reciprocating compressors therefore depend in partupon the lubrication characteristics between the crankshaft and journal bearing. Current studies have explored experimental and theoreticalmethods, yet difficulties arise when applying these results to practical designs in the field. The present study seeks to enhance theenergy efficiency ratio, and to improve the reliability of the reciprocating compressor for refrigeration and air conditioning systems bystudying the influence of boundary conditions on the lubrication characteristics between the crankshaft and journal bearing. The resultsdemonstrate that appropriate boundary conditions, when applied to theoretical analysis, improve both the speed and ease of the designprocess.

        A study on the optimum design for the valve plate of a swash plate-type oil hydraulic piston pump

        Numerous studies have been conducted on hydraulic systems operating under high pressure. However, such systems are difficult to realizebecause of mechanical limitations as a result of tribological problems between relative sliding parts. Design techniques, manufacturingtechniques, and tribological characteristics must be improved or innovated to operate such systems under increased pressure. Thestress distributions and optimum design factors needed to satisfy these requirements under maximum pressure are determined by analyzingthe stress on the valve plate of a hydraulic axial piston pump. This pump is among the most important relative sliding parts. As perthe result of the analysis conducted using an orthogonal array, the extent of the influence of the design factors on maximum stress valueis ordered as follows: [z > M > h > r]. Moreover, the maximum stress value of the optimum model is 13.3% lower than that of the standardmodel. Results also show that the stress characteristic of the optimum model is more stable than that of the standard model.

        역사적 건축물 재생계획의 공공성에 관한 연구 - 문화공간으로의 활용사례를 중심으로 -

        Remained buildings of the past give us the memory of a city in the past with its social and cultural impression. Historic buildings contain ideas of the time which are important for the contemporary to experience the past. So we have been the historic preservation of buildings and properties inherent following its value through the use of historical buildings. Therefore, this study aims to examine the fundamental meaning from the public aspect in the renovation plan of historic buildings which other studies used to focus on preservation, utilization and planning of historic buildings. The aim of this study is to analyze any plan to improve publicness by the renovation of historic building, and to suggest planning factors and design method for the support of publicness. The results are raised in four aspects. First, it is to make open space, new approach order to enhance accessibility. Second method is to preserve the facade for historical symbolism or way of performing the role of the landmark inserting a new mass. Third is way to ensure the convenience and retention of the internal function space. Finally, it is way to change function of building or add part of the program of public programs.

        A study on the pressure ripple characteristics in a bent-axis type oil hydraulic piston pump

        To improve the performance of a bent-axis type axial piston pump driven by tapered pistons, it is necessary to know the pressure ripple characteristics. The purpose of this paper is to understand the effect on the pressure ripple characteristics, and to predict by comparing experimental and theoretical analysis results. The simulation model of a bent-axis type axial piston pump is developed in the AMESim environment using the geometrical dimension, and the driving mechanism of the piston pump, such as the stroke of pump, the velocity of piston, the instantaneous volumetric flow, the overlap area of valve plate opening to cylinder bore, the angle of notch, and so on. The results show that theoretical analysis results of the bent-axis type axial piston pump by using the AMESim approximate the pressure ripple characteristic of the test pump, and through this, simulations can be obtained that predict the performance characteristics of a bentaxis type axial piston pump.

        남북국시대론-1960년대 초 북한의 고대사 인식을 중심으로-

        이 글은 1960년대 초 북한의 삼국통일과 발해사에 대한 인식과 그 배경을 검토함으로써 남북국시대론이 북한의 국사체계의 정립 과정에서 고안된 것이었음을 살펴보려는 목적에서 작성되었다. 그 배경으로서 신채호의 사론 및 김일성의 주체사상을 주목하였다.1950년대 중반 북한에서는 신라의 삼국통일을 인정하고 그 민족형성사적 의의를 중시하였다. 동시에 고구려의 후계국으로서의 발해의 역사적 의의도 인정하였다. 반면 1960년대 초에는 신라의 삼국통일은 부정되고, 그것은 신라의 국토 남부 통합과 고구려 옛 땅에서의 발해의 성립으로 정리되었다. 이러한 변화는 신라가 외세를 끌어들여 백제와 고구려를 멸하였다는 점과 발해가 당을 비롯한 외세와 투쟁 끝에 건국하였다는 점을 부각시킨 것과 통하는 면이 있다고 여겼다. 1960년대 초 북한의 고대사 인식은 한말 신채호의 주장과 유사하였다. 그는 1908년 발표한 독사신론에서 신라의 삼국통일을 부정하고, 발해·신라의 ‘양국시대’를 설정한 바 있었다. 그는 흔히 통일의 영웅으로 칭송되었던 김춘추를 외세를 끌어들여 동족의 국가를 멸한 자라고 맹렬히 비난하였다. 반면 고구려의 후계자로서 외세와의 투쟁 끝에 건국한 발해의 역사적 의의를 높게 평가하였던 것이다.일제시기 유물사관에 입각한 사회경제사학자들은 신채호를 비롯한 민족사학 계열의 역사가들을 부정적으로 평가하였다. 해방 이후 그들 중 일부는 북한 역사학의 기초를 마련하였다. 1950년대 고중세사와 관련한 북한 역사학계 최대의 관심사는 고대 노예제사회와 중세 봉건제사회의 설정 문제였다. 그러므로 신채호의 역사학이 주목받기는 어려웠다고 보았다.북한에서는 1955년 말부터 ‘주체’의 확립 문제가 공식적으로 언급되기 시작하였다. 처음 그것은 사상에서의 주체 확립의 필요성에 대한 것이었는데, 1962년 말에는 주체사상으로 정리되었다. 이에 따라 북한의 역사학계도 주체적 역사관을 모색하게 되었는데, 이 과정에서 사대주의적 역사관을 강력히 비판하였던 신채호가 주목되었던 것으로 생각하였다.1960년대 초 북한의 고대사인식은 주체사상을 배경으로 하면서 사학사적으로는 한말 민족주의 사학자인 신채호의 역사인식을 계승하면서 성립하였다는 특징을 갖고 있다고 할 수 있다.

        필수예방접종경비 국가부담 사업의 확대계획에 따른 소아청소년과의 준비

        National Immunization Program (NIP) in korea is regulated by government for effective prevention of infectious diseases since 1954. But the program is only performed in public health center, so many people had various complaints such as inconvenience to use public center, high cost when vaccinated in private medical organization and lack of speciality and registration etc. In this reason, it was very difficult to raise the vaccination rate to 95 percent, infectious disease preventable rate. With this background national assembly and government try to expand the NIP coverage both public health center and private medical organization with increasing budget from 2009. So in this paper an overview and preparation of Korean pediatrician according to the expanding plan of NIP are described.
