성별, 연령대, 요일에 따른 시간대별 미디어 이용의 집중도 분석

이 연구는 하루 중 시간대별로 미디어 기기 선택의 집중도를 불확실성률(uncertainty ratio)을 사용하여 성별, 연령대별, 요일별로 분석하였다. 여성의 집중도가 남성보다 전반적으로 높았고, 연령대별로 보면, 오전 활동시간대와 주시청시간대에서 20대의 집중도가 현저히 낮았으며, 연령대가 낮아질수록 미디어 집중도가 낮았다. 요일별로 보면, 심야와 새벽시간대를 제외하면 주말시간대의 집중도가 평일보다 대체로 높았다. 또한, 연구결과는 전반적으로 볼 때, 스마트 미디어 환경 하에서도 텔레비전 주 시청 시간대(오후 7~11시)에 가정용TV의 이용 집중이 매우 높음을 보여주었다. 다만, 연령대 변인으로 분석할 때, 주시청시간대에 20~30대의 젊은 연령층만 스마트폰과 PC의 사용이 높아지면서 가정용TV에 현저하게 덜 집중했다. 이는 세대교체가 이루어지면서 향후에 미디어 기기 이용의 전반적인 양상에 큰 변화가 있을 것임을 시사했다. This study analyzed uses of media devices across dayparts according to gender, age and weekdays/weekend by using the uncertainty ratio. The concentration in the uses of media devices was revealed to be higher for the female group than the male group. As for age, in the morning and the prime time the concentration was much higher for the twenties than any other age groups. The younger generation the lower concentration in the uses of media devices. Except at the late night and in the early morning, the concentration was generally higher in the weekend than the weekdays. Moreover, the result revealed that in spite of the smart media environment, media users highly concentrate on watching television rather than using newer media in the television prime time. However, the analysis of the concentration according to age demonstrated that the twenties and thirties spend more time in using a smart phone and a PC than older generations in the television prime time, and less time in watching television. This implies that a big changes in uses of media devices will be expected in the future.

The methanol extracts of 19 commercial herb medicines was analyzed to antibacterial activities against Edwardsiella tarda, causing several fish diseases. Rhus javanica showed most strong antibacterial activity against E. tarda and Escherichia coli. Methanol extract of R. javanica was further extracted using several organic solvents having different polarity. Extract from ethyl acetate fraction showed strong activity against E. tarda as well as E. coli. Minimal inhibitory concentration, MIC of R. javanica extract was measured and resulted showing 64 ㎍/㎖ for E. tarda and 256 ㎍/㎖ for E. coli. It is needed that, from these results, further purification and isolation of reposible compound of these activities and further study on the synergy effect using combination with antibiotics against pathogenic bacteria.
