        통일미술교육 방법으로 신문화사적 관점의 가능성에 관한 연구

        Restoration of homogeneity in the ethnic community is the main purpose and justification for the conventional art education on unification. However, the ‘homogeneity’ in the current art education on unification is limited solely to traditional culture, which brings about the problem of being isolated from the daily lives of the students and eliminating their judgments on forming a perspective on unification. This study focuses on the interpretation of the new cultural history and its perspectives to suggest a resolution to the issues associated with the current art education on unification that relies on ‘homogeneity’, and to present a new direction on art education on unification. New cultural history is an expression of a micro-level cultural historical perspective which seeks to understand and respect the various cultures of the world away from the existing ideological and political historical narratives. New cultural history is focused on the regionality and individuality in human history and seeks to describe history on perspectives from the ways of life of an individual identified by the effects from the environment and geography. As such, this perspective of new cultural history shows great interest in the thoughts, judgments, and influences of an individual on various issues of life, and shows a deep correlation with the social changes through education in that the insight, creativity, and actions from individuals become the driving force of the development of history. The findings of this study show that the new cultural historical method of art education on unification is characterized by the ‘expansion of perceptions’ and ‘creating individual texts.’ These characteristics allow for the expansion and fusion of an individual’s world-view through art education on unification, and constitute an effective method of education for moral values. Furthermore, by pursuing a post-modernist interpretive method that allows for the student to understand unification in various contexts, this method of education ultimately allows for the student to experience social changes through art. 그동안 통일미술교육의 당위성은 민족공동체의 동질성 확립으로 귀결된다. 그런데 전통문화중심의 동질성 회복만을 통일미술교육의 목표나 당위성으로 설정했을 때, 통일교육이 아이들이 사는 현실과 동 떨어진다는 문제점이 발생한다. 통일은 이제 교육이나 정책적 문제가 아닌 학생들에게는 현실 문제라는 점을 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 ‘동질성’에 의존하는 기존 통일미술교육에 관한 문제점을 해결하고 새로운 통일미술교육 방향을 제시하기 위해 기존 통일미술교육 연구내용을 확인하고 새로운 통일미술교육 관점과 방향으로 신문화사적 역사 해석 방식에 주목하고자 한다. 신문화사는 기존의 이데올로기적, 정치사적 역사 서술에서 벗어나 세계의 다양한 문화를 이해하고 존중하려는 태도를 지닌 미시적, 문화적 역사 인식의 발로다. 신문화사는 인류사의 지역성, 개별성 진행에 관심을 가지고 이를 따라 역사를 환경과 지리적 영향 하에 나타나는 개별 구성원의 생활양식에 초점을 맞춰 서술하려고 한다. 이런 관점은 다양한 생활 속 이슈에 관해 개인의 사고와 판단, 개인의 영향력에 지대한 관심을 보이고, 각 개개인의 통찰력과 창조력, 그리고 행위를 역사 발전의 원동력으로 삼고 있다는 점에서 교육에 의한 사회변화와도 깊은 연관성을 보여주고 있다. 이에 기존 통일 담론의 문제점을 해결하고 새로운 통일미술교육 가능성을 제시하기 위해 신문화사의 역사해석 관점을 통일미술교육에 적용하고자 한다.

        4대 공적연금 가입 여성의 연령별 출산율 자료구축

        Based on the fact that the fertility rate of civil servants in Korea is relatively high, we searched for data to find out whether there was a difference in the fertility rate of women of childbearing age who enrolled the four major public pensions, but could not find any related open data. However, with the support of the National Health Insurance Service, it was possible to build data on the fertility rate by age of women enrolled in the four major public pensions. Since all citizens are eligible to join the National Health Insurance, it was possible to expand the target of data collection to six groups: National Pension (employees, self-employees)employees, self-employees), Government Employees Pension, Teachers Pension, Military Pension, Pension Unsubscribed period and non-pension subscription, and data construction was possible for 2002-2018. Although the data was supported by the National Health Insurance Corporation, it was confirmed that there was little difference from the data on the fertility rate of the Statistics Korea. In addition, due to the enforcement of the National Health Insurance Act amended in 2014, even though a woman enrolled in the Teachers Pension was classified as a woman enrolled in the National Pension in the data of the National Health Insurance Service, the birth of a woman of childbearing potential enrolled in the Teachers Pension is recorded as a childbirth of a woman of childbearing potential through the National Pension. All age-specific fertility distortions were corrected and this process was described in detail. This study was able to construct data on the fertility rate by age of women enrolled in the four major public pensions. In this paper, the total fertility rates for women enrolled in the four major public pensions and women who are not enrolled in 2002-2018 were calculated and presented as a result.

        Extensive Focus on Form Through Text-based Online Chat for Korean College Students

        This study investigated the benefits of communicative extensive focus on form through text-based online chat for Korean college students. Thirty-two college students participated in three text chat sessions. The learners interacted with the researcher one-on-one to complete a role-play task. The researcher provided corrective feedback or help whenever a pertinent need arose during the task. A week after the task, the learners took an individualized posttest. The learners generated 321 Focus on Form Episodes (FFEs) and 112 Error Episodes (EEs) during the role-play task. The posttest results indicated that forms addressed in the FFEs were significantly more likely to be correct than those in the EEs. A logistic regression analysis indicated that four FFE-related variables (feedback complexity, metalinguistic explanation, successful uptake, and post-task report) significantly influenced correct scores on the FFE-based test items. A post-hoc analysis revealed that learners whose interaction speed was relatively high benefited significantly from metalinguistic explanation and post-task reporting, whereas their low-speed peers benefited from simple feedback and production of successful uptake.

      • 기독교 세계관 기반 크리스천 코칭 : 개념화와 실행

        개별화, 다양성이 특징인 오늘날 포스트모던 사회에서 코칭이 효과적인 소통과 교육, 자기계발 방법론으로 부상하고 있다. 라이 프, 비즈니스, 학습, 대인관계 등 다양한 분야에 적용되고 있는 코칭은 한국 기독교계에서도 2000년대 이후 도서와 방송 등의 매체를 통하여 크리스천 코칭으로 알려지기 시작했다. 그러나 크리스천 코칭이 개인 성도나 교회에 구체적으로 어떤 유익을 가져올 수있는지에 대한 논의는 여전히 부족한 실정이다. 주된 이유는 크리 스천 코칭의 이론적 근거와 방법론이 일반 코칭과 구별되기에 충분한 이론적 토대가 정립되지 않았기 때문이다. 크리스천 코칭이 한국교회에 보편적으로 수용되기 위해서는 일반 코칭과 구별되는 기독교 세계관적 근거를 체계적으로 확립해야 한다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 일반 코칭에 대한 배경을 먼저 제시한 후크리스천 코칭의 기본 전제가 창조-타락-구속-회복으로 구성되는 기독교 세계관의 거시적 틀에 부합한다는 사실을 제시한다. 보다 구체적으로 창세기 에덴동산에서 하나님께서 사람에게 주신 하나님 나라 확장 명령을 크리스천 코칭의 기본 전제로 제시한 후한 성도가 하나님의 통치권에 순종하는 하나님의 자녀로 변화, 성장되는 과정을 주도하시는 성령의 사역에 참여할 수 있는 유익한 도구로서 코칭을 교회교육에 도입할 것을 제안한다. 또한 기존 교회교육의 티칭-트레이닝 체계에 코칭을 추가하여 교회교육에서 활용이 가능한 구체적인 프로그램 실행방안을 제시한다. 마지막으로 교회 내에서 최근 운영된 기독교 세계관 기반 크리스천 코칭 프로그램의 모형과 실행 사례를 소개하여 향후 크리스천 코칭 프로그램 계발과 활성화를 위한 구체적 방안을 제시한다. Coaching is emerging as an effective methodology for facilitating communication, learning, and self-development in this post-modern era characterized by individualization and diversification. Coaching, as applied to a wide range of areas such as life, business, learning, and interpersonal relationship, started to be widely recognized within the Christian community in Korea through books and mass media since the 2000’s. However, it has not yet been sufficiently discussed what specific benefits coaching may offer to individual Christians and churches. This is largely due to a lack of a sufficient theoretical and methodological foundation for Christian coaching, compared to coaching based on humanism ideology. It is critical that biblical underpinnings be systematically established for Christian coaching so that coaching approaches may be widely accepted within Korean churches. Thus, this study aims to establish a solid conceptual basis for Christian coaching and to demonstrate that the key premises of Christian coaching are congruent with the core biblical worldview based on the Creation-Fall-Redemption schema. Then, this study proposes that coaching be introduced to church education as a useful tool for Christians to participate in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who takes the lead in the ongoing salvation process where an individual is transformed into a mature child of God who willingly accepts God’s sovereignty. Then, some specific applications of Christian coaching are presented as to how coaching can be effectively interconnected with the traditional church educational system relying largely on teaching and training. Finally, some specific suggestions for implementing Christian coaching are presented along with a coaching educational program recently implemented in a local church in Korea to provide practical implications for future Christian coaching programs.

        TTC 모형 기반 면대면 및 모바일 영어학습 코칭의 효과에 대한 한국 대학생 학습자의 인식

        Recent years have witnessed an unprecedented level of technological advancement conducive to individualizing language learning. This situation urges language instructors to upgrade their roles from teachers and trainers to coaches who facilitate individual language learning in a technology-supported environment. Despite its potential, however, coaching has not received due attention in previous language learning research. Thus, this study investigated the feasibility of coaching embedded in the TTC (Teaching, Training, and Coaching) Model for improving EFL learners’ self-directed English learning capacity. Seventeen English majors at a university in Korea participated in face-to-face and mobile text-based coaching via KakaoTalk after receiving teaching and training for self-directed English learning in a regular 15-week course. The results from immediate and delayed exit questionnaires revealed predominantly positive evaluations of the TTC model, with one-on-one face-to-face coaching given the highest marks. More specifically, face-to-face coaching was viewed as helpful for sustaining smooth interaction and getting instant feedback whereas mobile text chat coaching was seen as useful for reviewing coaching chatscripts and overcoming time and space constraints. Further research is needed to reveal the intricacy of learner and contextual variables in determining the effectiveness of coaching embedded in the TTC model.

      • The Effects of Frequency and Salience on Noticing of English Vocabulary

        본 연구는 언어입력의 빈도와 현저성이 한국인 영어학습자가 영문독해를 하는 가운데 새로운 단어를 발견하고 주목하는데 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. 사전검사에 근거하여 학습자들이 알지 못하는 영단어 열 두개를 선정하여 노출빈도와 현저성이 각기 다른 네 개의 범주로 구분하였다. 사전검사 실시 일주일 후 학습자들은 목표영단어들이 포함되어 있는 문단을 읽고 요약하는 실험에 참여하였다. 주목현상을 측정하기 위하여 밑줄긋기 방법이 사용되었으며 개별 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 실험 결과 단어가 문단에 두 번 등장하도록 입력빈도를 조작하였을 때는 오히려 새 영단어의 주목현상의 빈도가 떨어진 반면 단어를 굵은 글씨로 표시하여 단어형태의 현저성을 강화했을 때에는 주목현상을 촉진되었다. 한 편, 두 변수를 통합하였을 때는 현저성이 가진 주목촉진효과가 빈도의 효과에 의하여 상쇄된 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 단순히 외적으로 조작된 단어의 빈도수나 현저성 강화보다는 과업의 성격과 학습자의 주의집중 방향성이 단어의 주목에 더 강한 영향력을 미친다는 것을 의미한다.

        테크놀로지 지원 외국어학습 코칭의 가능성 탐색: 개념과 실행 모형

        The present study introduces a new methodological framework that meets the emerging needs of coaching for foreign language learning. More specifically, this study presents technology-supported coaching as a viable methodological paradigm for facilitating autonomous foreign language learning in the upcoming new era where cutting-edge technology in artificial intelligence may significantly lower the burden of language teaching and training. To this end, this study first provides a historical sketch of how the traditional paradigm of teaching and training has shaped the current foreign language education landscape, and then points out some key limitations associated with approaches driven by the teaching-training combination. This is followed by a discussion of the conventional roles of language teachers and their new role as coaches with a focus on the communicative nature of language and learner agency. It is stressed that a language learning coach, rather than just a language teacher or trainer, is expected to play a central role in the future in fostering learners as active agents of communicative language use. Finally, four specific coaching process models are presented to help language coaching professionals implement coaching sessions in a technology-supported learning environment.
