제목용 한글서체 개발에 관한 연구 -디지털 폰트 ‘꽃비녀체’ 개발 사례를 중심으로-

From the late Joseon Dynasty period to the present day, display typefaces has played an important role, not only by drawing the attention of people, but also by being the face of the content. Typefaces carry important means of communication within the design itself. However the prolific use of Chinese and English characters has been causing a setback in the interest of Hangeul characters. In recent days the use of a particular display typeface helps emphasize a certain message or convey a strong identity, creating a new culture of communication. The need for Hangeul display typefaces has been rising, yet the amount of research on the identity and form of Hangeul characters is rather insufficient. This study records the development process and result of ‘Flower Binyeo,’ a digital font that was awarded in the 27th Hangeul Font Design Contest, hosted by ‘King Sejong the Great Memorial Society’ and the ‘Visual Information Design Association of Korea.’ The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics and effectiveness of serif display fonts by comparing and contrasting ‘Flower Binyeo’ to existing modern-day typefaces. This study is meaningful as it presents a new methodology in the field of Hangeul design and design in general. Also included in the study is the tight relationship between Hangeul readability and the process of optical, visual corrections, which is necessary in the creation of a typeface. ’Flower Binyeo’ is not representative of the development process of all Hangeul display fonts. However this study suggests a proper guide to produce display typefaces and further brighten the future of Hangeul design. 과거 조선시대 후기부터 오늘날까지 제목용 서체는 본문 내용의 얼굴 역할을 하며 사람들의 이목을 집중시킴으로써 매우 중요한 역할을 담당해왔다. 글자의 조형 속에 다양한 의미를 담으며 중요한 커뮤니케이션의 수단으로 활용되어 왔으나 오랜 기간 동안 한자(漢字)와 영자(英字)를 제목으로 활용해왔기 때문에 한글 제목용 서체에 대한 관심도가 떨어졌다. 오늘날 제목용 서체는 사용에 따라 전하고자 하는 바를 더욱 강조해주거나 정체성을 전파하기도 하여 새로운 커뮤니케이션 문화를 창출하기도 한다. 최근 한글 제목용 서체의 필요성이 대두되면서 조금씩 개발되고 있으나 한글의 정체성과 조형성에 대한 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 세종대왕기념사업회와 한국시각정보디자인협회에서 개최한 제27회 한글글꼴디자인공모전 수상작 ‘꽃비녀체’의 개발과정과 결과물을 수록하였다. 제목용 서체인 ‘꽃비녀체’의 디자인 개발과정을 소개하고, 현대 기존의 제목용 바탕체와 비교·분석하여 제목용 바탕체의 특징과 효과적인 제목용 서체를 연구하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 한글의 기초 연구와 한글서체 개발 연구로서 한글조형 연구와 디자인 방향에 새로운 방법론을 제시하는 데 의의가 있으며, 서체개발 과정에서 착시와 시각보정을 통해 한글의 조형요소와 가독성의 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. ‘꽃비녀체’ 개발과정이 한글 제목용 서체 개발과정을 대표할 수는 없다. 그러나 이 과정을 통해 밝힌 한글 제목용 바탕체 제작과정은 서체의 올바른 발전 방향을 제시하고 한글서체의 미래를 밝히는 등불이 될 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether there are differences in the influence of social relationship factors on cultural adaptation stress among multicultural adolescents with diverse backgrounds. To this end, the data from the second phase of the multicultural youth panel survey conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute was used for analysis. The analysis revealed the following results. Firstly, the average level of cultural adaptation stress was found to be 1.23 for domestically born children and 1.34 for children from families with mid-migration or foreign backgrounds, indicating a significant difference between these groups. Secondly, it was observed that social relationship factors influencing cultural adaptation stress differed among multicultural adolescents with different backgrounds. For domestically born children, factors such as number of friends and experiences of school violence were found to have an impact. On the other hand, for children from families with mid-migration or foreign backgrounds, factors such as parental support and teacher support were identified as influential. These findings highlight distinct characteristics between domestically born children and those from families with mid-migration or foreign backgrounds. Based on these research outcomes, implications were provided for conducting further research and proposing policies specifically tailored to multicultural youth by considering group segmentation based on their background characteristics. The significance of building an inclusive society and actively supporting multicultural adolescents was emphasized.

사회적 혐오, 혐오 발언과 기독교 윤리적 제언- 언어의 수행성

본 논문은 언어의 수행성을 통하여 사회적 혐오와 혐오 발언을 탐구하고 기독교 윤리적 제언과 방법을 모색하기 위해 설계되었다. 사회적 혐오는 혐오 발언을 통해 실현되는데 이는 언어 수행성의 실행과 결과이다. 따라서 혐오의 표현, 발언은 언어-사회적 구조 속에서 사회의 이데올로기와 메커니즘, 관습과 문화를 반영하고 특정 혐오대상자들을 차별, 배제, 축출, 절멸하기 위해 사용된다. 따라서 본 논문은 언어의 수행성, 언어행위를 통해 기독교 윤리의 차원에서 혐오와 혐오 발언에 대하여 고찰한다. 또한, 예수의 정결법 역행 사건의 언어행위를 통해 혐오 집단의 인식 재정립에 대하여 살펴본다. 마지막으로 언어의 수행성을 이용하여 혐오 언어 대응의 방법인 호칭 재의미화를 탐구한다.

Impact of Maternal Stress on Mothers' Perceived Social Behaviors of Their Preschool Children in Korean Families in the United States and Korea

The purpose of the study was to investigate the impact of maternal stress as it relates to the mothers’ perceived social behaviors of their preschool children in both immigrant Korean families in the U.S. and Korean families in Korea. The subjects included 49 immigrant Korean mothers in the U.S. and 52 Korean mothers in Korea. Mothers of 4-to 6-year old children were administered a packet of the survey which assessed demographic information, their parenting stress, and the mothers’ perceptions of their children’s social behaviors. Data analysis revealed that mothers’ stress levels negatively correlated with the mothers’ perceptions of their children’s social skills, but positively correlated with the perceptions of their children’s behavioral problems in both groups. The findings suggested that stress reported by mothers, whether immigrant or nonimmigrant status, has the potential to influence children’s social skills and the development of children’s behavioral problems rated by mothers.

예비유아교사의 교수효능감이 교사핵심역량에 미치는 영향: 교직동기의 매개효과를 중심으로

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of pre-service early childhood teachers' teaching efficacy on teaching core competencies, and at the same time to verify whether teaching motivation plays a mediating role in the relationship between the two variables. Methods To this end, 154 students of the department of early childhood education at a university located in Y-si, Gyeonggi-do were measured through self-report questionnaires to measure teaching efficacy as an independent variable, core teacher competency as a dependent variable, and teaching motivation as a mediating variable, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0. Results As a result of the study, first, it was found that pre-service early childhood teachers' teaching efficacy and teaching motivation had a significant and positive effect on teacher core competencies. Looking at each sub-factor, it was found that two sub-factors of teaching efficacy, general teaching efficacy and personal teaching efficacy, and intellectual stimulation and spirit of altruism among the five sub-factors of teaching motivation had a significant effect on teacher core competency. Second, in the relationship between teaching efficacy and teacher core competencies of pre-service early childhood teachers, it was found that teaching motivation partially mediated. In other words, it can be seen that teaching motivation increases the static influence of teaching efficacy on teacher core competencies. Conclusions In the operation of the curriculum in teacher training institutions, it is necessary to support teachers' self-development and professional role performance through approaches from various aspects to clearly motivate the teaching profession.

헤르만 바빙크의 기독론 중심의 삼위일체적 계시 이해 ― 언어행위이론의 관점에서

본 논문은 헤르만 바빙크의 계시론을 언어행위이론의 관점에서 살펴본 것이다. 바빙크 신학의 가장 큰 특징 중 하나는 그가 신학의 방법론으로서 성경과 신조, 기독교적 의식을 사용하며 특별계시인 성경을 신학함에제일 원리로 보았다는 것이다. 따라서 그의 신학의 중심은 계시론이라 할 수 있으며 하나님의 계시는 성경, 즉 언어로 나타나 있다는 점에서 바빙크의 계시론을 제대로 이해하려면 성경-언어적 고찰은 필수로 여겨진다. 그러나 이러한 사실에도 불구하고 바빙크의 계시론을 언어적으로 연구한 논문은 거의 없는 것으로 여겨진다. 따라서 본 논문은 성경-언어적 고찰의 한 방법론으로서 언어행위이론의 관점에서 바빙크의 계시론을 살펴볼 것을 제안한다. 언어행위이론을 통한 접근은 결론적으로 바빙크의 삼위일체적 계시가 기독론 중심적이며, 삼위일체적 계시는 하나님과 신자의 상호간의 의사소통행위라는 것과 오늘도 살아 역사하시는 역동적인 하나님의 계시의 언어행위가 신자와 교회 공동체의 삶에 드러나며 성취됨을 설명한다.

메타버스 학습상황에서의 목표기반 시나리오 적용 미술 수업사례 연구

본 연구는 메타버스 학습 상황에서 생크의 목표기반 시나리오(Goal-Based Scenarios, GBS)를 기반으로 한 미술 수업을 설계, 실행, 분석하여 메타버스의 미술교육적 활용방안을 탐색하고자 하는 연구이다. 연구자는 목표기반 시나리오를 적용한 미술수업을 설계하는 ‘설계자’이자 교실수업의 ‘외부 전문가’로서 연구에 참여하였으며, 중학교 2학년을 대상으로 GBS를 적용한 미술 수업의 실행은 2022년 5월~6월까지 총 14차시로 진행되었다. GBS를 기반으로 한 미술 수업의 목표(goal)는 학습자가 직접 메타버스 플랫폼을 활용한 미술 심화전을 기획, 직접 개최하는 과정을 통해 실제적인 전시 기획을 경험하고, 이를 바탕으로 창의·융합 능력을 기르는 것이다. 학습공간 자원인 메타버스 미술관은 모질라 허브 스포크(Mozilla Hubs Spoke)를 활용하여 설계·개발하였으며, 학습자 역시 모질라 허브 스포크를 활용하여 심화 기획전을 개최하였다. 메타버스 학습 상황에서 목표기반 시나리오를 적용한 미술 수업 사례연구는 메타버스 학습상황에서 GBS가 왜 필요하며, 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지에 대한 방향을 탐색하고, 메타버스의 새로운 미술교육적 활용 방안에 대한 고찰로서의 함의를 가지고 있다.

사회 재난 조사 분석을 위한 분류 체계 연구

사회재난 분야는 그 범위가 무척 넓고, 관련 재난을 관리하는 기관이 많아서, 각각의 분류 체계를 사용하고 있다. 이에 통합 시스템을 위하여 이들 분류 체계를 정리하고, 통합하고, 연계할 수 있는 체계 구축이 시급한 상태이고 본 연구를 통하여 이러한 체계를 구축하였다.

국내 폰트 라이선스 유형에 대한 연구

1인 창작 시대에 폰트는 감성 표현과 정보 공유의 중요한 요소로 활용되고 있으나, 폰트의 라이선스와 저작권 문제로 인하여 관련 분쟁과 저작권 상담 건수는 점차 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 특히 라이선스 규정은 폰트 유형이나 제작사별로 달라 폰트 사용자들이 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 무료폰트와 폰트기업의 라이선스 유형과 특징을 비교·분석함으로써 폰트 저작권에 대한 이해를 제고하고 통합 라이선스 규정의 필요성을 제시했다. 폰트 라이선스 종류를 ‘인쇄’, ‘영상’, ‘BI·CI’, ‘웹’, ‘임베딩’, ‘Open Font License(OFL)’로 나누어 유형과 사용범위를 체계화하였다. 이어서 보다 상세하게 상업적 무료폰트와 폰트 기업의 폰트로 나누어 조사하였다. 첫째, 상업적 무료폰트는 2023년 10월 기준 ‘눈누’와 ‘공공누리’ 플랫폼의 인기 및 다운로드 순 10개 폰트의 라이선스 규정을 대상으로 분석하였으며 둘째, 폰트기업의 경우 보유 폰트 수, 폰트 판매 사이트, 폰트 클라우드 서비스, 그리고 라이선스 정책을 비교 연구하였다. 분석 결과, 라이선스 프리 정책을 운영하는 기업의 경우라도 모바일, 웹, 영상 그리고 임베딩이 별도인 경우가 존재했으며, 임베딩의 분류 또한 달리 규정하고 있었다. 또한 각 폰트 기업마다 라이선스 유형 요소가 상이하여 폰트 사용자들에게 혼란을 야기시킬 수 있는 문제점을 시사한다. 마지막 장에서는 폰트 분쟁을 방지하고 사용자가 폰트를 안전하게 활용할 수 있는 환경을 조성하기 위해 새로운 폰트 라이선스의 통합과 규제에 대한 산업과 기업의 노력이 필요하다고 제언하였다. 본 연구가 적법한 폰트 사용을 장려하고, 풍요로운 한글 폰트 문화의 진흥에 기여하는 초석이 되기를 기대한다. This research conducts a comparative analysis of license types pertaining to free fonts and those offered by font companies. The objective is to enhance comprehension of font copyright and endorse standardized licensing. The categorization of font license types includes print, image, BI·CI, web, embedding, and Open Font License (OFL). A meticulous investigation is conducted on commercial open-source and foundry fonts. Specifically, scrutiny is applied to the license policies governing the top ten open-source fonts in popularity and downloads on 'Noonu' and 'Gonggon Nuri(Korea Open Government License)' platforms as of October 2023. For foundries, the analysis encompasses font ownership, sales platforms, cloud services, and concomitant licensing policies. Results elucidate that even entities adopting a license-free paradigm have specific provisions for mobile, web, video, and embedding usage, with distinct embedding classifications. Moreover, each font foundry manifests unique constituents within their respective licensing frameworks. In summation, it recommends concerted efforts to standardize emerging fort licensing paradigms, preventing conflicts and fostering secure font application. It is envisaged that this study will serve as a seminal contribution towards the advancement of legitimate font utilization and the enrichment of Hangeul font culture.
