In the area of soil and groundwater environment, explosives are being highlighted. Therefore establishing the criteria for remedial works and developing the related technology are very important issues in the scope of nationwide research project. This investigation was carried out in military shooting area using explosives and focused on the determination of explosive compounds contents in soil and water. Because the domestic criteria have not established, the contents of explosive compound were compared with ROD(Record of Decision) of US EPA. Totally, 6 of 117 sampling point were contaminated and 4.3% of surface soil (0-10 ㎝) and 1.9% of subsoil (10-30) were contaminated. However, ROD value is too site specific according to site conditions to assess degree of contamination using simple comparison of analytical data with ROD. The results of this investigation are valuable for the selection of candidating sites for future precise investigation and risk assessment.
Backsheet 반사율에 따른 Shingled Mini Module 출력변화에 대한 연구

It is very important to optimize the reflectance of incident light in solar modules for improving output power and reducing loss of cell-to-module (CTM). It is assumed that a higher reflectance backsheet may improve optical efficiency. However how much output power is related to optical properties by reflectance property of backsheets have not been revealed clearly yet. A total of 3 types of industrial backsheets with 3 type of industrial encapsulants (EVA or POE) were analyzed as fabricated mini modules used shingled cells. According to the type of backsheets, the difference between the highest and lowest average reflectance in the range of 400 nm to 1200 nm was found to be 13.08% by UV-visible spectroscopy. Also, when using the same encapsulant, the maximum gap value of the output power increase was measured by about 3.755 mW% (166.02 mW). The correlation between reflectance and output power was experimentally found by measuring the output property of the fabricated shingled mini modules.
유성 소유역의 강수 및 지열수의 산소.수소 안정동위원소 조성 변화

2001년부터 2004년까지 유성 소유역내 강수, 지하수, 지열수의 산소 및 수소 동위원소 조성 변화를 검토하였다. 1975년부터 2006년까지의 강수 패턴을 분석한 결과, 연구지역은 $6{\sim}7$년의 가뭄 주기성을 보였다. 2001년도 가뭄 시기부터 2004년까지 4년간 강수의 산소 수소 동위원소 조성은 점차 무거운 성분으로 변화해가는 양상을 보였다. 연구 지역에서 4년간의 강수량을 고려한 동위원소의 가중 평균간을 구해 보면 ${\delta}^{18}O=-7.7%o,\;{\delta}D=-51%o$로서, 동일 기간 내의 지하수와 지열수의 동위원소보다 무거운 조성 범위를 보였다. 이는 연구 지역의 지수 및 지열수가 동위원소적 관점에서 2-3년 이내의 강수에 의해 큰 영향을 받지 않는 것을 의미한다. 기존 자료들을 검토해 볼 때, 연구지역에서의 지하수와 지열수는 1990년과 1992년이 가장 무거운 동위원소 조성을 보였으며 이후로는 산소 및 수소 동위원소 조성이 점차 가벼워지는 쪽으로 변화해가는 양상을 보였다. The oxygen and hydrogen isotopic composition in precipitation, groundwater and geothermal water were monitored over four-year period from 2001 to 2004 at the Yuseong catchment, Daejeon. By analyzing the long term rainfall pattern, we found out the drought cycle of 6 or 7 year. We fortunately revealed that the oxygen and hydrogen isotopic composition of rain has progressively changed to heavier isotopic ratios from 2001 to 2004. The weighted mean values of ${\delta}^{18}O\;and\;{\delta}D$ of rain are calculated to be $-7.7%o\;and\;-51%o$, respectively. These isotopic values are much heavier than those of groundwater and geothermal water collected at the same period, which indicates that the rain or snow of the study area would not immediately affect the isotopic composition of groundwater or geothermal water. Comparing with the previous data, the groundwater and geothermal water collected at 1990 and 1992 year has the heaviest isotopic composition and afterwards their isotopic composition has been progressively shifted to the direction of lighter composition field.
