        아동이 지각하는 교사행동과 자아존중감과의 관계

        Purpose of this study was to investigate the teacher behavior perceived by chidren and chidren's self-esteem. The major research questions were as follow 1. What kind of relations will be exist between the subtraits of teacher behavior (Supportive Help, Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction, Work and Rule Orientation, High Expection,Opportunity and Choice) and the subtraits of chidren's self-esteem (General Self, Social Self Peers, School-Academic, Home-Parents) ? 2. Is there difference according to sex discussing the relations between the subtraits of teacher behavior and the subtraits of children's self-esteem ? The subject of this study were 432 children composed of 183 boys and 249 girls of fifth and sixth grade in two elementary schools located Tae-gu city. The measurement instrument used in this study were follow: One of the instrument is Teacher Treatment Inventory which was proposed by Weinstein & Middlestadt and modified by Yoon,Soon-Hong(1988) and was composed of four variables (such as Supportive Help, Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction, Work and Rule Orientation, Nigh Expection, Opportunity and Choice) The other instrument is the Self-Esteem Inventory which was proposed by Coopersmith and modified by Lee,Hyoun-Joo(199U) and was composed of four variables (such as General Self, Social Self Peers, School-Academic, Home-Parents) The Canonical Correlation Analysis SAS(Statistical Analysis System)/pc program was employed to examin the correlation between the subtracts of teacher behavior and the subtracts of children's self-esteem. The major findings of this study were as follow 1. The subtracts of teacher behavior was related to children's self-esteem. Especially High Expection, Opportunity and Choice and Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction variable in the subtracts of teacher behavior revealed the greatest contribution for the School-Academic variable in the subtracts of children's self-esteem. 2. The relations between the subtracts of teacher behavior and the subtracts of children's self-esteem is different according to sex. In other words, Negative Feedback & Teacher Direction revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of School-Academic variable in the subtracts of boy's self-esteem and High Expection, Opportunity and Choice revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of School--academic variable in the subtracts of girl's self-esteem.

        Montessori 아동 교육관에 있어서 자유개념에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine how the concept of freedom is grafted on the actual education of children by analyzing it as a basis of the education of M. Montessori, and by doing so, I intend to attempt the qualitative improvement in a process of modern education of children. So, I investigated the theoretical background and the view of education of children of M. Montessori. And in the education of Montessori, I studied the meaning of the concept of freedom. I also studied a relation between the concept of freedom and the religious education as an actual education and looked into a reciprocal relation between freedom and a prepared environment, a reciprocal action between it and a teacher's role. and I studied the examined the criticism on freedom. In the theoretical background of the educational thought of M. Montessori, I looked around the backgrounds of education and thought. In the educational background, she was influenced by hard and Seguin, educationalists for the handicapped. In the background of thought, he shows the thought which centers on children and considers their autonomy and personality valuable, for she was influenced by the former ages succeeded from Comenius, Rousseau to Pestalozzi, Frobel and also by the New Education Movement of Redie, Demolins, Lietz, Dewey, Ellen Key who were the contemporary educational currents. In the view of education of children of M. Montessori, I investigated centrally human, nature, and God. As a view point which the view of nature sees a nature as freedom, I was able to find that the subjective nature and the objective one are unified, His view of human is the unitary and the standpoint which regards a child as a good and positive being. I recognized the fact that the view of God was to try to find God's appearance by developing the human's original nature, for sacredness was in a man's inside. If, in the educational principle of Montessori as a self-activity, it provided an object for children's stage of sensitivity through observing their activity, I could know that they made a self- education as a concentrative state of their work and came to obtain a normalization. Also I could recognize that the object of Montessori was to be devised to be able to give an auto-education which made children recognize and correct of their work for themselves. In the concept of freedom of M. Montessori, I studied its meaning. I analyzed that the concept of freedom about a spontaneous realization of the original nature of children, as its meaning, must allow them to express their original nature spontaneously, and that of freedom to be set free an outside restriction must constitute the environment for free expression and activity of their original nature, and it, as an order and a rule is the one that children control themselves and don't interfere with other's activities. For Montessori put the base of education of children on the religious education, she studied the meaning of concept of freedom grafted on it as a practical one. Also, she looked into about the reciprocal relation between freedom and a prepared environment, the reciprocal action between it and a teacher's role. Montessori gave the religious education through the catholic ritual, her religion. The cultivative activity of nature through it as a process of the religious education of M. Montessori was an activity that recognized mystery of life and formed itself, which related to it as a original nature of child that a child developed her inner vitality. And the activity through an object for the ritual was to provide the environment which children would use it freely and to relate to the concept of freedom to be set free an outside restriction. Also, the educational process through a meditation and a prayer, as the ritual activity, makes children learn their patience and self- controled their activity and didn't obstruct others' one. therefore I came to understand that the concept of freedom acted as a basic principle in the religious education. In the reciprocal relation between freedom and a prepared environment, I examined about construction elements for a conceptual meaning of a prepared environment and it. therefore, I could find that the prepared environment meant a house of children which she prepared a good circumstance to secure children's own activitys, and an object of M. Montessori. The constructional elements for it must be a place for independence and growth, a place for protecting children, a place or an object possible to be active, a beautiful environment and object, and an environment in which there is in an order. As a result that I studied the reciprocal action between freedom and a teacher's role, I could recognize that her role was the passive one which mediated children to express their own original nature, and to observe patiently to provide the proper environment for their stage of sensitivity. I studied and devided the critical problems on freedom of Montessori into the negative side and the affirmative one, centering on what derived from the reciprocal action among a child, an environment, an object, and a teacher. As a result, I was able to know that it was seen as the negative side on the method operating an object and child's nature of society, and as the affirmative side that it admitted a child's nature of positivety and applied it to education practically. As mentioned above, I examined only in part on the educational thought of children of M. Montessori. In conclusion, I think that the education of Montessori in Korea is active in the method of education or the use of an object, but, for it's insufficient in parts of theory and practical application, needs more diversified studies. At the same time, I see that they need improving, supplementing and naturalizing to be used at the education of children in Korea.

        아동이 지각한 부모의 언어통제유형요인과 자아존중감 요인과의 관계

        The purpose of study was conducted to elucidate the relationship between parents" verbal control modes and children's self-esteem. The subjects of this study were 489 children composed of 216 boys and 271 girls of fifth and sixth grade in two elementary schools located in Taegu. The measurement instruments used in this study were "Parents' Verbal Control Modes" (Lee, Kyung Hee, 1993) and "Self-Esteem Inventory" (Coopersmith, 1981). The Canonical Correlation Analysis SAS (Statistical Analysis System)/pc program was employed to examine the correlation between the subtraits of parents' verbal control modes and the subtraits of childrens self-esteem. The major findings of this study were as follow 1. The subtraits of paternal verbal control mode was related to children's self-esteem, especially imperative control variable in the subtraits of paternal verbal control mode revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of home-parents variable in the subtraits of children's self-esteem. 2. The subtracts of maternal verbal control mode was related to children's self-esteem. especially person-oriented control variable in the subtracts of maternal verbal control mode revealed the greatest contribution for the prediction of home-parents variable in the subtracts of children's self-esteem. 3. The relations between the subtracts of paternal verbal control mode and the subtracts of children's self-esteem is different according to sex 4. The relations between the subtracts of maternal verbal control mode and the subtracts of children's self-esteem is different according to sex.

        노년기의 스트레스와 삶의 만족도간의 관계 : 우울, 자기효능감, 마인풀니스(mindfulness)의 매개효과

        이 연구는 노인의 스트레스가 노인의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 우울, 자기효능감, 마인풀니스(mindfulness)의 매개효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재 노인복지이용시설을 이용하시는 만 60세 이상의 노인 546명을 대상으로 인구·사회학적 변인과 스트레스, 우울, 자기효능감, 마인풀니스, 노인의 삶의 만족도 척도로 구성된 설문을 실시하였다. 분석통계를 위하여 SPSS WIN 15.0과 AMOS 7.0을 이용하였다. 연구 결과를 보면 첫째, 노인의 삶의 만족도의 경우, 우울과 스트레스와는 부적 상관을, 마인풀니스(mindfulness)와 자기효능감과는 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 노인의 스트레스와 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 마인풀니스는 부분 매개효과가 있음이 확인 되었다. 셋째, 연구 변인들 사이의 인과 관계의 크기를 직접효과, 간접효과로 나누어 분석한 결과, 노인 삶의 만족도에 스트레스와 우울은 직접 효과와 간접효과가 있었고 마인풀니스(mindfulness)는 삶의 만족도(well-being)에 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 노인의 삶의 만족도 관련 변인과 삶의 만족도에서는 스트레스가 삶의 만족도로 가는 경로와 우울이 마인풀니스로 가는 경로에서 여자와 남자 간에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구 결과는 노년기에 스트레스·우울의 증가를 고려하여 삶의 만족도를 제고하는데, 개입방법 효과나 노인을 상담할 때 성별에 따라 세심한 주의와 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 제시하고 있다. The purpose of this study was to observe the mediating role of depression, self-efficiency and mindfulness in the relationship between stress and satisfaction in the lives of old people. A survey comprising assessments on social and population data, stress, depression, self-efficiency, mindfulness and well-being was conducted among 546 old people over 60 who frequent day-care centers for old people within the metropolitan area in and around SPSS WIN15.0 and AMOS 7.0 were used to analyze the results. The main findings of this study are as follow; First, the well-being of old people was negatively correlated with depression and stress, and positively correlated with mindfulness and self-efficiency. Secondly, the study showed the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship between stress and well-being in the lives of old people. Thirdly, the analysis of the size of the causal relationships between the various factors after separating them in direct and indirect effects showed that stress and depression had a direct effect and an indirect effect on the well-being of old people, while mindfulness had an indirect effect on well-being. Lastly, there were significant differences between males and females regarding the levels of depression and well-being. This study found that the increase of stress and depression in old age by considering how the intervention according to the genders of the elderly care and program development needs.
