      • Paphiopedilum(熱帶蘭) 種屬間의 관계 규명을 위한 同位酵素 分析

        The experiment was conducted to assess the ability of leaf isoenzymes to delineate groupings in the Paphiopedilum used. There is much variation in the leaf isoenzyme systems studied within and between species of Paphiopedilum. Five enzyme system studies for shikimate dehydrogenase(SDH), phosphoglucose isomerase(PGI), leucine aminipeptidase(LAP), phosphogluconate dehydrogenase(PGD) and esterase(EST) are the most appropriate means for studying within and between species variation, providing similarities and dissimilarities between them. Similarity index value(s) greater than 50% for all the combinations of entries indicates that three morphologically similar Paphiopedilum species may have originated from the same species but exhibitied diversity in ecological adaptation. Comparative eletrophoresis may provide a new source of identification for investigating phenotypic relationships in this particular Paphiopedilum.

        A flexible manufacturing systems starts from the installation of automated facilities. Concurrent use of manufacturing resources, alternative process plans, flexible routings, and efficient scheduling system can only work together when the facility layout is designed well. Cost consequences of teh decisions related to layout of the machines can be observed not only during the implementation but also during the operation of the system. Good solutions to these problems provide a necessary foundation for effecive utilization of teh system. Since the conventional approach for capacity planning design usually do not consider flow directions and volumes, most layout and handling strategies have been neglected. This research introduces a concurrent approach for a finite capacity planning which integrates group technology adn material handing strategies. Hence, a concurrent design methodology for layout in flexible manufacturing systems is presented. This layout design has been selected to minimize distance not only between machine cells but also between machines within in each machine cell, which eventually lead to the optimum numbers associated with the finite capacity planning.

        Nowadays the importance of food and beverage department becomes greater. However, the importance of menu-planning, the basis of food & beverage-products, is not fully recognized, and therefore menu planning is not viewed as a total marketing. A menu is a marketing tool which delivers restaurant's image and message to customers and communicate customers needs and wants to restaurant. So far, studies on menu have been done in an analytical way from a management's viewpoint and inadequate to reflect customers needs and wants. A research on customers menu selection procedure is critical to satisfying their needs and wants and yield profit. This study examined the theories on menu-design and consumer behavior through literature review and verified hypotheses through an empirical analysis. A questionnaire-survey had been used in luxury hotel's main grills and French restaurants in Seoul. Collected data were analyzed, using SPSS/PC+ package. The important findings are as follows. First, hotel patrons consider menu's intrinsic factors rather than external factors. They value the quality of food more than the portion-size. Therefore menu designing and planning should be made to value the quality rather than a function. Second, attributes of hotels influence on menu selection behavior more than environmental characters. Hotel's software is more important than a hardware and the service of employees affect, menu selection behavior most. Accordingly training programs and menu education for employees should be enforced. Based on the above finding, a menu selection model was developed. The model explains hotel patrons menu selection behavior systematically. When the results from a behavioral analysis are reflected on a menu planning, the menu will bring restaurants profit., satisfies customers and becomes customer-oriented. Menu planning is not only a kitchen's function, but a total marketing in which an organization works in coordination. To control and coordinate the collected data from each stage, a department which is wholly responsible for a menu planning is required. It is also urgent to open a professional course in a college and reeducation of hotel employees to foster a specialist in the field

      • 남한산성도립공원의 이용실태와 개발방안에 관한 연구

        The purposes of this study are to analyze the actual visiting condition and to suggest a future development plan in Namhansansung Provincial Park, which is the biggest natural park in the Seoul Metropolitan area. To accomplish these purposes, a field survey and a questionaire survey were conducted. This study is composed of the following five parts; I. Introduction, II. The present condition and the actual visiting condition in the Namhansansung Provincial Park, Ⅲ. The analysis of visitor's inclinations and behavier in the Namhansansung Provincial Park, Ⅳ. The development plan for the Namhansansung Provincial Park, V. Conclusion. 1. Public facilities in the park are satisfactory compared to other tourist destinations. 2. The length of the vistor's stay is 2 hours & 54 minutes an average, which is much lower than the national average of 5 hours & 12 minutes, therefore, a counter-plan is urgently needed. 3. Complaint factors are transportation, price, and lack of recreational and public facilities. 4. The degree of satisfaction for the facilities and the service is 2.751 in general, which is slightly unsatisfactory. hypothesis 1 : The motivation for a visit and the number of a visits will have a meaningful relationship ; accepted. hypothesis 2 : The need for the development of facilities and the degree of satisfaction from the facilities and services will have a meaningful correlation; rejected. hypothesis 3 : A favorable system for the Park's development and inhabitation will have a meaningful correlation; accepted. hypothesis 4 : A favorable system for Park's the development will vary according to the degree of satisfaction; rejected. hypothesis 5 : The direction of the Park's development and a need for the development of facilities will have a meaningful correlation: accepted. Therefore, Suggestions for the development plan for the Narnhansansung Provincial Park are presented as follows ; First, A direction of the development considers regional habitants primarily as a recreation and rest area. Second, sustainable tourism development is desirable to minimize a destruction of nature and priorities for the Park's development should be set up. A mountain path, a forest bath place, an information bureau, service system, transportation in the park is the proper order for its development. Third, The third sector development system is the proper way for development, in which regional government is the main body and the central government and a private sector participates.

        Deep interests have been paid on the application of non-thermal plasma technique th solve the environmental pollution problems. CO_2 is one of the severe pollutants which cause the acid rain and global warming. In this study, in order to improve the conversion efficiency of CO_2, the streamer corona discharge plasma and barrier discharge plasma reactors were made, and the conversion characteristics of CO_2 by the corona discharge plasma and some discharge characteristics of these discharge chambers are studied experimentally.

        수술장에서의 혈액 폐기율 감소

        Background : 6.1% of red blood cells and whole blood issued to the operating room was not transfused to the patients and discarded in Seoul National University Hospital in 1994. Objectives : We planned to set up an effective management program of blood in the operating room and we investigated whether this program could reduce the disposal rate of blood. Methods : We made a guideline of blood management in the operating room through a workshop. The guideline was revised after a preliminary application. The revised guideline was applied for 5 months from May to September in 1996. The disposal rate was compared before and after the installation of the new program. Results : 5,336 units of blood were issued to the operating room for 5 months. Disposal rate of red blood cells and whole blood was markedly reduced from 6.2% in May to 2.1% in September(p<0.05). The average disposal rate was 3.7% during the five months. Conclusion : We were able to reduce the disposal of unused blood in the operating room through the development and the application of a new blood management program.
