1. Objectives The object of this thesis is to find the basis on why Jejo was assigned as a Taeumin medicine, and to understand Taeumin edema. 2. Methods ${\ulcorner}$Dongyisusebowon${\lrcorner}$ 'Shinchukbon', 'Gabobon', 'Chobonkwun', other related Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM) books, herbal medicine books such as ${\ulcorner}$Bonchokangmok${\lrcorner}$, and etc. were compared and researched. 3. Results & Conclusions (1) In Sasang Constitutional Medicine, edema is seen as a critical condition. The first cause of edema in Taeumin is fatigue, a condition where the flow of Qi and Fluid Qi is stagnated. Secondly, edema is caused as Taeeumin is mentally stressed(勞心焦思) and he/she is unable to accomplish his/her plans over many trials or as when they find pleasure in striving for greed. When Lungs which is Incline & Small Viscera(偏小之臟) in Taeumin decreases, it diminishes Real Count of Longevity(命脈實數) which leads to edema formation. (2) Perspective of Human Nature & Character(心性學) and Regimen(養生法) became included gradually in the treatment methods and prescription of edema in Taeumin as ${\ulcorner}$Dongyisusebowon${\lrcorner}$ was revised over time. The revisions also lead to more diversity in prescriptions. (3) Jejo didn't appear In ${\ulcorner}$Dongyisusebowon${\lrcorner}$ 'Chobonkwun' and 'Gabobon'. It was first presented in 'Shinchukbon' as a medicine to treat edema in Taeumin. (4) Jejo have effects of easing clumps. Also it has a strong radiating ability(發散力) which induces perspiration to treat diseases. Finally Jejo is used to remove Takki(濁氣) by utilizing powerful Exhale Gathering Qi contained in it.

1. Objective : The object of this thesis is to find the basis of Constitution assignment of Nogeun(蘆根, Phragmites communis Trin.) used to the medication for Taeyangin. Also, it is to recognize what kind of Constitution of Mogeun(茅根, Imperata cylindrica var. koenigii) is needed to be assigned to. 2. Methods "Dongyi Soose Bowon", 'SinchukBon', 'ChobonKwun', other related Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM) books, herbal medicine books such as "Boncho Kangmok", and etc. were compared and researched. 3. Results & Conclusions : 1) Nogeun(蘆根) lowers Qi and harmonizes the body. Because of the effect of lowering soar-Qi(氣), it used to treat the symptoms of Taeyangin's vomiting(噎膈反胃, Stomach reflux due to dysphagia-occlusion). Also Yuksoo Nogeun(逆水蘆恨, Reed growing near the river in low scream) is the basis of considering inhale-gathering Qi effect as a major indication of Nogeun. 2) The theory of classifying White Mogeun as a Tae-eumin Medicinal is based on the effect of Radiating while classifying White Mogeun as a Taeyangin Medicinal is based on the effect of treating stomach reflux(反胃). But both basis are not conclusive and thus requires further study. 3) In "Sasang Geumge Bibang", the first text ever to write only about separate medicinals and Classified Foods (食物類) of each constitution, there were examples of Nogeun and Mogeun's usage based on other pre-existing medical texts. 4) Because White Mogeun is classified as Tae-yangin medication in "Dongmu Yugo", but classified as a Taeeumin's medication in "Dongyi Soose Bowon" 'ChobonKwun' and "Sasang Geumge Bibang", there remains a controversy.

The development of a launch vehicle engine operating in a high-altitude environment must include verifcation of accurate thrust and starting characteristics under an environment similar to the actual flight environment, therefore, the performance of the engine must be confirmed through a high-altitude environment simulation test. This paper describes the need for high-altitude simulation test facility. The principles, configurations, design and operation of high-altitude simulation test facility are discussed. In particular, overall aspects of steam ejector type facility for testing upper engine with a high expansion ratio are deeply discussed.

후류처리 장치는 기본적으로 화염유도로의 역할을 하며 추가적인 기능에 따라 소음/배기가스 처리장치, 고공 모사 장치 등으로 분류될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 화염 및 충격파로 부터의 발사체 보호, 제트펌프, 유해배기 가스 저감 등 후류처리 장치에 적용되는 원리를 제시하였다. 물 분사에 의한 소음감소는 마하파를 약화시키며 물의 증발 및 응축을 통해 제트의 에너지를 줄이는 원리를 이용함을 보였다. 또한 후류처리 장치에 적용되는 원리의 고찰을 통하여 수직형 후류처리 장치의 개념을 제시하였다. Exhaust facility has basically the role of flame deflector, and considering additional functions, it can be classified by noise/emission suppressor and altitude simulation facility. In this paper, principles of flame deflector, jet pump, emission suppression are presented for exhaust treatment facility. Principles of noise suppression caused by Mach wave mitigation, jet energy mitigation by water evaporation and condensation are shown. In addition, a concept of vertical exhaust treatment facility is presented applying basic principles aforementioned.

상단 다단연소사이클 엔진은 예연소기의 연소가스가 주연소기에서 재연소가 되므로 고압의 추진제 생성을 위하여 터보펌프 회전수가 가스발생기 방식에 비하여 높아야 하며, 이에 따라 펌프 인입구에서 케비테이션이 발생할 가능성이 높다. 펌프 인입구에서 기포가 생성되는 케비테이션을 방지하기 위해서는 인입 압력이 높아야 하고 하드웨어가 충분히 냉각되어 열유입이 적어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 케비테이션을 방지하기 위한 다단연소사이클 엔진 구조상의 고려사항과 냉각과정을 소개한다. 또한 발사체의 위성 투입능력 향상을 위해서는 상단엔진의 다점화가 필요하다. 다점화가 수행되기 위해서는 무추력 구간 중 후속 시동을 위해 충분한 냉각이 유지되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 지상에서의 냉각 및 엔진이 상단에서 점화하기 위한 냉각과 무추력 구간에서의 냉각유지, 재점화를 위한 냉각에 대해 논의한다. Upper stage staged combustion cycle engine needs high rotational speed of turbopump to maintain high pressure for staged combustion from pre-burner to main combustor. High rotational speed usually increase the possibility of cavitation at pump inlet. To avoid cavitation, higher inlet pressure and extensive chilling which minimize heat input to cryogenic propellant is needed. In this paper, consideration for engine structural and chilling operation aspects are discussed. To increase satellite insertion capability, multi-ignition capability is needed. To perform multi-ignition, additional chilling is needed for next ignition during coast period. In this paper chilling for next ignition is also discussed.

The analysis of propellant feeding sub-system is performed using a commercial code SINDA/FLUINT, the comprehensive finite-difference, one-dimensional, lumped parameter tool. With the code, cryogenic helium supply system, liquid oxygen supply system, helium injection cooling system are evaluated. The code gave satisfactory estimation scheme for propulsion system characterized by cryogenic temperature and high pressure, two phase flow. This paper focuses on presenting calculation scheme of propulsion sub-system using one-dimensional code like SINDA/FLUINT.
