        문학 : 서독의 68운동과 문화혁명

        Ende der 60er Jahre brach uberall auf der Welt die Studentenrevolte gegen das Establishment los. Die `antiautoritare` Kritik und Aktion der deutschen Studenten zielte auf die Universitat, die Notstandsgesetze, den Faschismus, die Massenmedien und den Vietnamkrieg. Die kapitalistische Gesellschaft basierte in den Augen der 68er nicht bloß auf Ungerechtigkeit, Unterdruckung und Luge, sondern sie riegelte das Individuum geradezu systematisch von Erfahrung und Erkenntnis ab. Auf dem Hohepunkt der deutschen Studentenbewegung entstanden daher viele neue Formen von gegenkultureller Lebenspraxis, die mit politischem Kampf in enger Verbindung standen. Als Beispiele dafur sind Kommuneprojekte, die Raubdruckbewegung und neue Formen des politischen Handelns wie Happenings und Teach-Ins zu nennen. Die vorliegende Arbeit ist ein Versuch, die kulturkritischen Ansatze der Studentenbewegung und ihre literarischen Konsequenzen zu skizzieren. Es wird zuerst die Vorgeschichte der 68er Bewegung im Hinblick auf den Strukturwandel der westdeutschen Gesellschaft dargelegt. Dann folgt die Rekonstruktion der grundlegenden Positionen der Studentenbewegung, die mit ihrem kulturrevolutionaren Konzept die Literaturdiskussion bzw. -praxis jener Jahre wesentlich pragte. Das subjektivistische Revolutionskonzept der Neuen Linken betonte die revolutionare Rolle der Intelligenz und damit den Vorrang der Kulturkritik. Das schlug sich nicht nur in kulturrevolutionaren Aussagen, sondern auch in ihren Versuchen zur Neubestimmung der gesellschaftlichen Funktion von Literatur nieder. 1967/68 fanden die Reflexionen uber die politisch-operative Literatur eine breitere Resonanz unter den links orientierten Studenten. Enzensberger verkundete 1968 den Tod der Literatur. In der Folge setzten sich gleichartige Erklarungen gegen die kunstlerische Literatur fort. Sie bezogen Stellung gegen den traditionellen, asthetischen Wert der burgerlichen Literatur und forderten eine neue politische Literatur. Die politische Asthetik der Studentenbewegung ging davon aus, dass das Kunstwerk als ein Artefakt nicht mehr der zentrale Gegenstand der asthetischen Theorie sein konne. Dieser Verzicht auf die Kategorie des Kunstwerks fuhrte dazu, die Literatur zu einem Organon der Revolution zu machen: durch die Entwicklung alternativer, nicht vom Kapital kontrollierter Produktions- und Vertriebsweisen und durch die Reaktivierung und Weiterentwicklung agitatorischer Formen wie Reportage, Lied und Song, Agit-Prop-Lyrik usw., was aber wiederum gewisse Ahnlichkeiten mit den spektakularen Auftritten und Texten von Avantgardisten zeigte. Die 68er Bewegung, die versuchte, Kunst und Leben bzw. Kultur und Politik neu zusammenzudenken, veranderte durch ihre Theorie und Praxis die bundesrepublikanische Gesellschaft nachhaltig.

        외국인 아동의 L2 한국어 및 L3 영어 학습 동기 비교 연구

        This comparative study investigates the motivation underlying second language (L2) Korean and third language (L3) English learning among immigrant children from multicultural families in South Korea. Utilizing a questionnaire developed by Jeon and Kim (2015), 56 participants provided their status of motivational constructs, including ideal L2/L3 self, ought-to L2/L3 self, instrumental motivation, motivated behavior, attitudes towards target languages, and integrative orientation. The results revealed divergent motivational patterns for L2 and L3 learning, influenced by factors such as gender, grade, and linguistic proximity. Further, integrative orientation surfaced as a crucial predictor for children’s intended learning efforts in both L2 and L3. Interviews with teachers who taught the participants L2 Korean and L3 English also supported the quantitative results. In accordance with previous studies, these findings underscored the dynamic nature of foreign language learners’ motivation. Taken together, this study suggests recognizing the distinct attributes of each motivational system and devising pertinent motivational strategies for L2 and L3 teaching.

        ‘초등영어교육’ 학술지 연구 동향 토픽모델링

        This study aims to analyze the research trend in Primary English Education from Volumes 1 to 27, focusing on its relation with the English education policies to examine the relationship between academic research and education policy. To this end, English abstracts of the entire research in the journal corresponding to the investigation period were collected as digital texts, preprocessed, and analyzed by LDA topic modeling using the R program. The results revealed that research topics such as teacher education and teaching methods were constantly investigated. It also confirmed that the English education policies at a particular time had a direct impact on the research trend (e.g., immersion program and TEE policy) or the concepts derived from the specific policies had an indirect impact on the research (e.g., teacher and learner variables). In addition, this study found that researchers were steadily interested in literacy education, learner assessment, and textbook analysis regardless of the policies, as the topics are significantly related to teaching and learning. Finally, the implications for the necessity of simultaneous interaction with research and policy were discussed based on the findings.

        교사 교육과정 문해력 기반 초등영어교육에서의 세계시민교육 구현 방안

        With growing focus on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) under the context of globalization for common good, this study explores a different aspect of the implementation of GCED in primary English education through the teachers’ curriculum literacy. Taking on the critical perspective towards the recent approaches to GCED in primary English education, the author investigated the 2015 revised national curriculum and the current approaches of GCED as well as the concept of teachers’ curriculum literacy in terms of the philosophy of GCED. Based on the analysis, it is argued that in order to foster students’ global citizenship, which is a long-term and essential goal of GCED, GCED program in primary English education must be dealt with a consistent and sustainable approach which stands on the teachers’ curriculum literacy. In this regard, teachers’ curriculum literacy which stands for ability to read and write a curriculum was emphasized, and based on that, an example of GCED program for the fifth grade built on the teachers’ curriculum literacy was suggested. Furthermore, implications to implement GCED in primary English education and the direction of future research were made.

        예비 초등영어교사의 과정중심평가 계획 작성 경험 분석

        Process-oriented assessment is known as a new paradigm that can promote the substantial growth of learners. Based on the understanding of the concepts of process-oriented assessment in primary English education and for exploring the direction of the education of learner assessment for pre-service teachers, this study aims to quantitatively analyze the results of the plans of process-oriented assessment prepared by 26 pre-service teachers, and to qualitatively analyze the experience of the pre-service teachers in the planning activities. The pre-service teachers effectively planned the process-oriented assessment by considering its core elements, but they could not expressly state the growth-referenced nature of the assessment. Further, most of the pre-service teachers perceived the process as meaningful, and their experience was categorized into their awareness, understanding, skills, and reflection of professionalism related to the process-oriented assessment. Taken together, this study suggested specific directions for pre-service teacher education related to learner assessment.

        예비 초등영어교사 요구 분석 기반ChatGPT API 수업 설계 컨설팅 도구 개발

        This study explores the integration of ChatGPT, a generative AI developed by OpenAI, into the lesson design process for pre-service primary English teachers. Based on a needs analysis of pre-service teachers, the researchers have developed a consulting tool to assist them in curriculum-aligned and well-structured lesson design. The consulting tool offered is in the form of an online template, which uses Google Spreadsheet as a frame and Apps Script to import the ChatGPT API. When pre-service teachers input the descriptions of major components in their lesson design (e.g., lesson objectives, learning activities, teacher talks, etc.) and activate the ChatGPT API-based consulting, the tool provides detailed feedback through standard and critical perspectives, facilitating a comprehensive approach to lesson planning and discerning evaluation of AI-generated consulting suggestions. The ChatGPT API-based consulting tool is expected to contribute to enhancing AI literacy among pre-service teachers, underlining the significance of integrating technology in education and the importance of critical engagement with AI-generated content in teacher education curricula.

        Compared with gasoline engine, diesel engine has big merit on thermal efficiency because it operates under higher compression ratio and air excess ratio. Further, it doesnt need throttle valve which causes pumping loss. Also combustion control limitation for knocking is very small. Based on these, diesel engine is now being recognized to be one of solution to reduce tail pipe carbon dioxide (CO₂). But nitrogen oxides (NOx) emission is very high compared with gasoline engine because of lean burn combustion condition and NOx can not be treated by conventional aftertreatment such as oxidation catalyst because of high oxygen concentration in exhaust gas. This study was carried out to characterize NOx formation under interaction of exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) and variable geometry turbine(VGT). NOx concentration was observed under various exhaust back pressure, intake manifold pressure, EGR rate, recirculated exhaust gas mass by VGT vane and EGR vlave position control.

        텍스트 마이닝 기반 초등영어 원격수업 연구 이슈 분석 및 연구 방향 탐색

        In the context of online learning due to COVID-19, this study aimed to analyze the research issues and explore the future research directions for the online classes in primary English education. In order to achieve this, the English abstracts of the 76 published research on online learning in primary education from January 2020 to April 2021 were collected and classified into three categories: primary English education, primary education in general, and other subjects. The data from each category was then analyzed, visualized, and compared through text mining techniques provided in the statistic program, R. The results of text mining, specifically, the absolute comparison done by word cloud, the relative comparison conducted by odds ratio calculation, and the semantic network analysis showed several implications for future research. First, the detailed roles of teachers in the online learning environment should be explored to suggest teachers’ competencies for online classes. Second, the English teaching curriculum reflecting online learning needs to be collected and analyzed. Third, effective online activities in English classes should be investigated to improve the quality of online teaching. Fourth, the aspects of online learning after COVID-19 should be examined as it is expected to continue in the shift towards future education.
