교육의 바람직한 결과는 직접적으로 교수 활동에 참여하고 있는 교사들에게 있겠으나, 궁극적으로는 그 교사들을 이끌어 가는 교장에게 있다고 본다. 그래서 혹자(Lipham, et al, 1993)는 학교교육의 성패를 교장의 지도력에 달려 있다고 한다. 그러나 학교장 문화에 대한 연구가 대단히 부진한 것은 사실이며, 이와 같은 시점에서 발표자의 논문은 학교장 문화를 이해하는 데 획기적인 전기를 마련 할 수 있는 계기를 부여하는 역할을 할 수 있다고 본다. 발표바는 다양한 자료에 근거하여 이론적으로 고찰하였고, 현직교장들의 생명감 넘치는 소리를 직접 청취하여 교사의 지위와 역할, 삶, 그리고 인간적 및 제도적 접근 등에 대한 주요 문제분석 및 그 개선 방안을 제시하고 있다. 토론자는 발표자의 발표 내용에 대해 대체적으로 의견을 같이 하나, 다만 일부 견해를 달리하거나 좀더 추가되었으면 하는 부분을 중심으로 토론을 전개하고자 한다.

본 연구는 장애인의 작업장 차별인식에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 무엇인지 그리고 장애인의 작업장차별인식이 차별의 통계적 증거와 부합하는지를 살펴보았다. 장애인은 연령이 낮을수록, 근속기간이 길수록, 임금수준이 낮을수록, 50인 미만 작업장보다 50인 이상 작업장에 근무하는 경우 작업장에서 차별을 인식할 가능성이 높았다. 또 여성보다는 남성이, 근속기간이 길수록, 임금수준이 낮을수록, 50인 이상 작업장에 근무하는 경우 임금 영역에서 차별을 인식할 가능성이 높았다. 그리고 장애인의 작업장 차별인식은 차별의 통계적 증거와 부합하는 것으로 나타났다. This study examines factors affecting perceptions of workplace discrimination by employees with disabilities and the relationship between perceptions of discrimination and measured discrimination. Those who are young, with long tenure, low-paid, and belong to the workplace with more than 50 employees are the most likely to report discrimination. Man, and those who are with long tenure, low-paid, and belong to the workplace with more than 50 employees are the most likely to report wage discrimination. And perceptions of workplace discrimination by employees with disabilities match Measured Discrimination.

The purpose of this study was to contribute to the development of concrete nursing intervention by identifying the performance of nursing activities for breast-feeding support & patient's satisfaction. The subjects were comprised of obstetrical ward 18 nurses & 196 patients from A hospital. These data were collected from conducting questionnaires for 25 day period from Oct 1 to Oct 25, 2002. The instruments used in this study were "characteristics of child birth & patient's satisfaction" developed by the researcher and "instrument to measure performance of nursing activities for breast-feeding" by Jung et al.(1993). The collected data were analyzed by actual number, its percentage, the mean, standard deviation, t-test, and Wilcoxon rank sum test. The results of this study are as follows 1. Patients' characteristics of child birth; Age ; 25~30 was 46.9%(the major), 31~35 was 30.6%. The experience of child birth ; Primipara was 57.2%, multipara was 42.8%. The experience of breast-feeding ; "No experience" was 58.2%, among experienced breast-feeding having an experience of success was 65.9%. Normal delivery was 61.2%, and Caesarean section was 38.8%. The starting time of first feeding after delivery was average of 28.9% hours at postpartum. 2. Nurse's general characteristics ; Age ; below 25 was 72.2%, 26~30 was 27.8%. clinical antecedent ; less than 2 years was 61.1%, 2~5 years was 27.8%, over 5 years was 11.1%. unmarried status was 94.4%. 3. The degree of performance of nursing activities for breast-feeding support ; The mean score was 3.73(±0.78) out of possible 5 points. 4. The degree of performance of nursing activities as clinical antecedent ; The mean score of over 2 years was 4.07(±0.41) and less than 2 years was 3.52(±0.94) out of possible 5 points, which resulted in significant difference(z=-2.73, p<0.01). 5. The degree of patients' satisfaction ; When the degree of patients' satisfaction the mean score was 3.90(±0.80) out of 5. 6. The degree of patients' satisfaction as characteristics of child birth ; A type of delivery ; The mean score of "normal delivery" was 3.82(±0.62) and "Caesarean section" was 4.01(±0.79), which resulted in significant difference(t=1.76, p<0.05). The experience of delivery ; The mean score of "primipara" was 3.84(±0.93) and "multipara" was 3.92(±0.81), which resulted in significant difference(t=2.21, p<0.05).
