          B16F10 Murine Melanoma 세포에서 멜라닌생성억제에 대한 타우린의 효과

          Taurine has been shown to be tissue-protective against oxidant-induced injury and is a powerful regulator of the immune system. However, there is no study on the antimelanogenic effect of taurine. In this study, we investigated the whitening effect of taurine in B16F10 mouse melanoma cells. Cell viability was measured by MTT assay. We examined melanin contents and tyrosinase activity according to time and concentration. Extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK) is an important regulator of melanogenesis. It has been reported that activated ERK induced microphthalmia associated transcription factor (MITF) phosphorylation and its subsequent degradation and thus reduced melanin synthesis. In our B16F10 cell culture system, taurine led to decrease melanin contents by 21% at 48 hr. We then observed taurine effects on ERK-P, MITF and tyrosinase by Western blot. ERK was activated at 18 hr and 24 hr, whereas MITF reduced. We could not observe any differences in the levels of tyrosinase. These results suggested that taurine inhibited melanogenesis by ERK signal pathway via MITF degradation. We expect that taurine has potential skin whitening agents in cosmetics.

          B16F10에서 Tyrosinase 관련 효소에 대한 타우린 효과

          The level of UV radiation emitted by the sun is increasing due to the destruction of the ozone layer. Our skin is more exposed to UV radiation and often suffers from various harmful effects of UV. Melanin production in human skin is an important defense mechanism against UV and a major determinant of skin color. Despite the protective role of melanins, abnormal hyperpigmentation such as freckles, chloasma, and other forms of melanin hyperpigmentation sometimes can be serious aesthetic problems. Because of this effect of melanin, people have concerned the effect of whitening in cosmetics. Taurine has been shown to be tissue-protective in many models of oxidant-induced injury, and it is a powerful regulator of the immune system, anti-oxidant effect. I investigated the whitening effect of Taurine. The Cytotoxicity was measured by MTT assay. I measured the level of tyrosinase activity and inhibition of the melanin synthesis in B16F10 murine melanoma cell. To evaluate effects of taurine on enzyme related tyrosinase I examined tyrosinase activity, TRP1, TRP2 by western blot and RT-PCR. Through such experiments, I gained the results that Taurine is able to be potential skin whitening agents in cosmetics.

          기능성화장품의 마케팅전략에 관한 연구-약국을 중심으로-

          본 연구의 목적은 기능성화장품을 취급하고 있는 개국 약사들을 대상으로 기능성화장품에 대한 인식, 취급실태, 중요성과 만족도를 조사하고 이를 토대로 약국에서 기능성화장품의 마케팅 활성화방안을 마련하는데 있다. 설문조사결과 약사들의 기능성 화장품에 대한 인식은 아직 저조한 편으로 전문지식을 제고할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 약국에서 기능성화장품의 마케팅을 활성화하기 위해서는 기능성화장품의 정의 확대, 기능성화장품 심사제도 개선, 다양한 약국 전문 기능성화장품 개발 및 유통, 약사의 전문성 제고를 위한 교육 실시, 기업의 적극적 홍보 및 소비자 네트워크 중시, 의약 공동협력 마케팅 추진, 건강보조식품과 기능성화장품의 연계마케팅, 약국 공간 확보 및 전문적 디스플레이, 제품에 대한 전문적 상담과 적극적 자세 등이 필요하다. 본 연구는 의약분업과 같은 약국환경변화에 따라 약국의 경영개선을 위한 방안으로서 기능성화장품의 마케팅 강화 필요성과 구체적인 방안을 설문조사결과를 통해 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구결과는 개국 약사들의 기능성화장품에 대한 판매 전략과 기능성화장품제조 및 유통기업의 기능성화장품에 대한 교육 및 유통전략에 기초를 제공하는데 커다란 도움이 되리라 본다. The purpose of this research is to examine the level of understanding, current management and degree of satisfaction about “Cosmeceuticals” among pharmacists running pharmacists. Using this research as a foundation, pharmacies are able to prepare an implementation plan for the marketing of “Cosmeceuticais”. The level of understanding among pharmacists surveyed was found to be rather low as yet, and it will be necessary to increase their specialized knowledge. Through this analysis of current conditions, several means for pharmacies to implement marketing of “Cosmeceuticals” are evident. These include expanding the definition of “Cosmeceuticals” reforming the system for inspecting “Cosmeceuticals”, developing and distributing various specialized “Cosmeceuticals”, initiating training for increasing the level of specialized knowledge of pharmacists, developing public information by corporations and consumer networks, driving coordinated marketing with medical associations, linking marketing with health foods, ensuring display space at pharmacies, and offering knowledgeable consultations and detailed information about the products. This research is significant in that it shows that a plan reforming pharmacy management, which is affected by the environment in pharmacies such as the separation of pharmacies from medical practices, should include the an increase in marketing for “Cosmeceuticals”. This research will be of great usefulness in forming a foundation for the sales strategy and manufacturing of “Cosmeceuticals” by pharmacists, for the training of distributors about “Cosmeceuticals”, and for developing a distribution strategy.
