치과용 임플란트 식립 후 초기 적외선, 초음파 자극치료에 따른 골유착 변화에 관한 연구

In this study, 3 dental implants were implanted in each femur of NZW rabbits, and only the right experimental group was irradiated with 850 nm infrared and 3 MHz ultrasonic waves for 10 minutes every day. After 3 and 6 weeks, a torsional test was performed using a universal testing machine to determine the changes in osseointegration. As a result, in the specimen subjected to 3 weeks, the maximum value of 3.01 MPa was measured in specimen #1, and the minimum value of 1.20 MPa was measured in specimen #1. In the control group, the maximum value of 0.75 MPa was measured in specimen #6, and the minimum value of 0.10 MPa was measured in specimen #4. The average value of specimens #1 to #3 of the experimental group was 1.76 MPa, and the average value of specimens #4 to #6 of the control group was 0.48 MPa. In the third week, among the torsion test results, for the control group, specimens #4 to #6, the specimen with the lowest initial osseointegration progress was measured at 0.10 MPa, and all of the measurement values at a total of 9 sites, including 3 sites for each specimen, were measured below 1.0 MPa. This is a very key part of this study, indicating that the initial osseointegration was very low. On the other hand, for the experimental group specimens #1 to #3, all of the measurement values at a total of 9 sites were measured above 1.0 MPa, and the maximum value was 3.01 MPa, confirming that 850 nm infrared light irradiation and 3 MHz ultrasound irradiation have an effect on improving osseointegration and bone quality with dental implants.

The purpose of this study was to recover aesthetic aspects and functional aspects of front teeth without damaging or removing the adjacent natural teeth using implant fixture and other various kinds of superstructures when front teeth are lost or damaged. Each case contains the laboratory side and the final status of the patient. These cases showed that the patients had recovered confidence through the recovery of functions and the beauty of the teeth. However there should be continuous efforts such as treatment of portent of gum inflammation and its curing in implant fixture, and selection and operation of appropriate superstructures. Better effects can be expected in assistance of implant fixture without natural teeth because the patients can have brighter smile and bigger confidence.
치기공과 학생의 전공선택확신과 진로결정수준의 관계에서 전문직업성의 매개효과

Purpose: The following study analyzes the mediating effects of professionalism on the relationship between major selection conviction and career decision level of dental technology students. It is to be used as basic data for improvement of the students’ career decision level and an effective way to train professionals of the colleges. Methods: The survey was conducted on dental technology students. The collected data was analyzed by the statistical program SPSS 18.0. The results were analyzed by reliability, frequency, multiple-way ANOVA, correlation, multiple regression. To test for significance on each item, p<0.05 has been decided as a standard. Results: The analysis shows that the students’ age and clinical practice experience bring a significant difference in major selection conviction, career decision level and professionalism. Professionalism has been found to bring significance mediating effects in relation to major selection conviction and career decision level. Conclusion: To improve the quality and pride as a professional as well as satisfaction with major selection can be expected to raise the standard of the students' career decision level.
치기공과 교육과정 제고를 위한 치과기공사의 직업기초능력 중요도 분석

Purpose: This provides basic data for improving educational effectiveness by selecting and applying basic vocational competency applicable to dental technology’s sub-major curricula by determining and researching dental technicians' awareness levels concerning the basic vocational competency’s importance. Methods: 170 dental technicians working in Daegu, Korea were surveyed using a self-administered questionnaire between 9 January 2018 and 23 February 2018. Results: 1. The highest level of the basic vocational competency elements by the awareness levels of importance in dental technology laboratories was shown in the occupational ethics, followed by technological skills, interpersonal skills, self-development levels, problem-solving skills, information skills, resource management skills and skills for understanding groups, communication skills, and mathematical skills. 2. Female dental technicians put relatively higher importance on writing documents and managing time, while males stressing on basic statistics. 3. Dental laboratory CEOs and managers put high values on resource management skills, while head technicians valuing information skills more. 4. The awareness levels concerning the basic vocational competency importance in some dental technology fields did not match those of the dental technology laboratories in the fields of porcelain, crown and bridge, and orthodontics. Conclusion : This study demonstrates that the awareness levels concerning basic vocational competency's importance in some fields of dental technology differ from those of dental technology laboratories. Developing a basic vocational competency curriculum, it seems necessary to find ways to increase educational effectiveness by selecting and applying the basic vocational competency for the respective fields of dental technology.
