Pseudomonas amygdali is a hemibiotrophic phytopathogen that causes disease in woody and herbaceous plants. Complete genomes of four P. amygdali pathovars were comparatively analyzed to decipher the impact of genomic diversity on host colonization. The pan-genome indicated that 3,928 core genes are conserved among pathovars, while 504-1,009 are unique to specific pathovars. The unique genome contained many mobile elements and exhibited a functional distribution different from the core genome. Genes involved in O-antigen biosynthesis and antimicrobial peptide resistance were significantly enriched for adaptation to hostile environments. While the type III secretion system was distributed in the core genome, unique genomes revealed a different organization of secretion systems as follows: type I in pv. tabaci, type II in pv. japonicus, type IV in pv. morsprunorum, and type VI in pv. lachrymans. These findings provide genetic insight into the dynamic interactions of the bacteria with plant hosts.

Jinul says that “when enlightenment first be carried out, the true training is possible.” Enlightenment and training is not being separated as a matter of first and later. In other words the beginning of the training comes from the awareness that one``s own nature is essentially wisdom and spiritual. Because we can go forward gradual training by enlightenment, this enlightenment is soon training and the training after enlightenment is the upcoming completion. There are enlightenment that two kinds of Hae-oh(解悟, sudden enlightenment) and Jeung-oh(證悟, ultimate enlightenment). Jinul(知訥)’s theory of “Sudden Enlightenment and Gradual Cultivation(頓悟漸修)” is to reconcile with nature by “sudden training(頓修)” and to integrate the “sudden training” and “altruistic training”(廣度群 品). It can be referred to as Wonsu(圓修).WonJeom(圓漸). Haeoh(解悟) is not simple verbal understanding but embodied enlightenment to get in the routine body. It integrates mind with body, and also it shows the nature of oneness and the matching of Dogma and Zen(禪敎一致). Also it shows not only the integration of concentration and complete knowledge but also cultivating both concentration and complete knowledge(定慧雙修) of Jaseong(自性) and Susang(隨相). The integrative nature achieves his thoughtful features. This will give the considerable implications for modern education and mind study. At the same time it will implicitly give rise to the direction change.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate problem behavior and its related factors in school-aged children. Methods: A descriptive correlational study was conducted with 221 mothers of children at 1st to 6th grades. Data were collected from March to April, 2015 using self-report structured questionnaires. Questionnaires included characteristics of sub-jects, Korean Child Behavior Checklist for measuring problem behavior and Children`s Sleep Habits Questionnaire for assessing sleeping habits. Collected data were analyzed by independent t-test, x<sup>2</sup> test, and multiple logistic regression. Results: In logistic regression analysis, having any maternal job (aOR=2.8, 95% CI=1.1~6.9) and higher daytime sleepiness (aOR=2.9, 95% CI=1.2~7.4) were statistically significant contributors of internal problems. Higher bedtime resistance (aOR=2.2, 95% CI=1.0~4.9) and higher daytime sleepiness (aOR=2.8, 95% CI=1.2~6.3) were statistically significant contributors of external problems. Higher bedtime resistance (aOR=4.3, 95% CI=1.5~12.4) was statistically significant contributors of total problem behavior. Conclusion: School-aged children with sleeping problem are at risk for problem behavior. More attention is need to consider sleeping habits for supporting behavioral improvement in school-aged children.

수술실 간호사의 언어폭력 경험, 업무 스트레스, 회복탄력성과 의사소통능력 간 관계

Purpose: This study was done to provide basic data for nursing intervention to increase communication ability of operating room nurses by identifying the relation among their verbal violence experience, job stress, resilience, and communication ability. Methods: The participants were 136 nurses, working in the operating rooms of six academic and general hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do. Data were collected from May 1st through October 31st, 2016. Collected data were analyzed for frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, association among related factors, and stepwise multi-regression using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results: It was found that the strongest factor influencing the communication ability of operating room nurses was persistence (β=.41, p<.001; sub-item of Resilience), followed by support (β=.26, p=.001; sub-item of Resilience). These two sub-items have positive influences on communication ability of operating room nurses. The lack of professional knowledge and skill (β=-.19, p<.001; sub-item of job stress) and verbal violence experience from nurse (β=-.16, p<.001; sub-item of verbal violence experience) have negative influences on communication ability of operating room nurses. These sub-items explained 47.0% of communication ability of operating room nurses. Conclusion: The study results can be used as basic data to develop effective communication. Also, the results show the necessity of developing and applying concrete nursing interventions to improve job satisfaction of operating room nurses.

동학운동이 개화혁신운동으로 방향을 전환한 것은 이종일, 양한묵, 장효근 등 독립협회의 개화파와의 교류에서 비롯된다. 이종일은 실학의 계승으로서 동학사상을 인식했고, 동학을 항일세력으로 인식하였으며 ‘동학은 민족의 호흡’과 같다 하였다. 천도교의 개화운동은 우리 고유정신인 하날정신에 기초하여 교정쌍전의 종교문명과 정치문명, 그리고 도덕문명을 지향하는 것이었다. 또한 이는 궁극적으로 개화신생활운동, 성신쌍전과 교정일치, 민권의 공화와 지방자치를 표방한 것이었다. 특히 의암 손병희는 천인(天人)의 하날격(天格)을 통해 인화(人和)를 이룸으로써 이를 국민 전체의 합의체를 이끌어내는 공화의 근거로 삼았고, 자치제를 지속적으로 거론하여 실제 1907년 지방자치제가 홍천군에서 실시되었던 사실이 주목된다. 천도교의 개화운동은 하날문명의 진보에 초점을 둔 국학운동이자 자주독립운동으로서 동학이 지닌 개벽사상의 시대적 변용이었다고 말할 수 있다. The Donghak(東學) movement has turned its direction to the progressive movement. It came from the interaction with people of Korean independence club such as Jong-il Lee, Han-mook Yang, and Hyo-keun Jang. At that time, the progressive movement means the progress of civilization. Jong-il Lee recognized Donghak`s thought as a succession of Silhak(實學) and Donghak(東學) as an anti-Japanese force. He also said that "Donghak(東學) is like a breath of the nation". He argued early on that Donghak(東學) had been a progressive movement since the beginning of the Donghak movement because it was the idea of human equality and innovation thought. Progressive movement(開化運動) of the Donghak(東學)/Chondogyo(天道敎) is based on the Hanal(天) thought of the Cheonin(天人), our own spirit. And it was aimed at the religious civilization, political civilization, and moral civilization of the twin pairs in religion and politics. And it was aimed at the religious civilization, political civilization, and moral civilization of the twin in religion and politics. It is also expressed as a Samdan(三團, three groups) that unifies our people, our spirit and our country. All of these ultimately proclaimed the innovation movement of new life, the integration and completion of spirituality and body(性身雙全), the unity of religion and politics(敎政一致), and republican of civil rights and local government system. The Chondogyo(天道敎) achieved a people`s unity by unity of Harmal and human(天人合一), and it was made the basis of the Republic that led to the consensus of the whole people. In addition, it is noted that by continuously addressing the local government system it was practiced in Hongcheon Gun(洪川郡) in 1907. At that time, the municipal government was recognized as the basis of national independence and the progress of world civilization. The progressive movement of Donghak/Chondogyo was a national academy movement and often an independence movement focusing on the progress of Hanal(天) civilization.
동학(천도교)의 ‘영성’과 종교의 비종교화: 이돈화를 중심으로

[연구 목적] 본 연구는 동학의 영성론을 살펴 무종교의 시대의 종교는 어떠한 의미와 방향으로 나아갈지를 모색하고자 한 것이다. 이를 위해 동학의 영성 개념의 연원을 탐색하고 천도교로 재편되면서 표방된 성령출세설과 이를 발전시킨 이돈화의 영성론을 탐구하였다. [연구 내용] 동학의 영성론은 수운 최제우의 신령(神靈), 최시형의 심령(心靈), 손병희의 영성(靈性)으로 전개되어 나갔다고 볼 수 있다. 최시형은 ‘한울이 만물의 조직에 따라 다양하게 표현’되는 것으로서 ‘우주의 정신이 곧 억조의 정신이요 억조의 정신이 곧 나의 정신’이자 ‘나의 심령’이라 하였다. 손병희는 이를 “우주는 영의 표현”이자 “신묘한 성령의 활동”으로서 ‘성령출세’라는 새로운 용어를 사용하였다. 이돈화는 이러한 동학의 영성론을 발전시켜 ‘자신의 영성을 믿는 자신(自神)신앙’과 ‘종교통일론’, 그리고 ‘종교의 비종교화’로 미래종교의 방향을 제시하였다. [결론] 동학의 영성 개념은 만물을 이루고 만물에 내재하는 우주 근원의 신령한 힘이자 인간의 심령을 의미한다. 이는 오늘날 우주 본체인 영성에 대한 깨달음, 인간 자신이 ‘우주의 역사’이자 ‘우주와 한 몸’임을 자각하고, 현세를 지상천국화하는 종교교육의 방향을 제시해 주고 있다. [Objective] This study examines the spirituality of Donghak in order to explore the meaning and direction of religion in an age of non-religion. [Contents] The spirituality of Donghak can be seen as having developed through Choe Jeu’s concept of divine spirit (神靈), Choe Sihyeong’s notion of mind-spirit (心靈), and Son Byeonghui’s idea of spirituality (靈性). Choe Si-hyeong stated that ‘Hanul (天)’ is diversely manifested according to the organization of all things,’ and that ‘the spirit of the universe is the spirit of the multitude, the spirit of the multitude is my own spirit,’ which he identified as ‘my mind-spirit. Son Byeong-hui described this as ‘the expression of the spirit in the universe’ and ‘the wondrous activity of the holy spirit,’ introducing the new term Seongryeongchulse (性靈出世, the emergence of the spirituality). Lee Don-hwa further developed Donghak’s spirituality by presenting the direction of future religion through the concepts of ‘self-faith that trusts in one’s own spirituality (自神),’ ‘the theory of religious unification,’ and ‘the de-religionization of religion’. [Conclusions] The concept of spirituality in Donghak refers to the sacred power of the cosmic origin that constitutes and permeates all things, as well as the human mind-spirit. Today, it offers the insight that spirituality is the very essence of the universe, guiding human beings to realize that they themselves are both ‘the history of the universe’ and ‘one body with the universe,’ and to transform the present world into a paradise on earth.
