동향 : 차세대 DVD 표준 경쟁: Blu-ray vs HD-DVD -플레이스테이션 3 표준 경쟁에서의 의의-

최근 차세대 DVD 플레이어들이 시장에 선을 보이면서 표준 경쟁이 가속화되고 있다. 소니를 중심으로 한 Blu-ray 진영과 도시바를 중심으로 한 HD-DVD 진영의 표준 경쟁에서 플레이스테이션 3의 출시는 초기 시장 형성에 있어서 변수가 될 수 있는 것으로 본 고에서는 차세대 DVD 표준 경쟁 현황과 플레이스테이션 3의 의의를 살펴보고자 한다. 소니는 올 봄 시즌에 플레이스테이션 3를 출시할 것이라고 언급해왔으나, PlayStation Business Briefing 2006 March에서 11월에 일본, 북미 그리고 유럽 동시 출시로 계획을 연기한바 있다. 그리고 다시 9월 6일에는 블루 레이저 다이오드의 생산 차질로 인하여, 유럽 출시를 내년 3월로 연기하고, 일본과 북미의 출시량을 절반으로 감소시킨다고 발표하였다(4백만대→2백만대). Blu-ray를 탑재한 플레이스테이션 3의 출시 지연은 소니와 도시바를 중심으로 한 차세대 DVD 표준 경쟁에 영향을 미칠 것으로 보인다.
Severe Hypernatremia by Excessive Bamboo Salt Ingestion in Healthy Young Woman

Severe hypernatremia is an important electrolyte disorder that has serious effects. The patient had no medical history. A. 20-year-old ingested bamboo salt for digestion and weight reduction according to the folk remedies posted on an internet website. She presented with vomiting and diarrhea over ten times per day. Her initial serum sodium concentration was 174mEq/L. Her symptoms improved rapidly with hypotonic saline infusion. She recovered completely without any sequelae in three days. Severe hypernatremia in a normal young adult with clear consciousness and normal renal function has not been reported in Korea yet. So we report a case of severe hypernatremia by excessive bamboo salt inges- tion in healthy young woman.

The purpose of this study is to find out transformation process of urban change of the old downtown Ulsan during the period of Japanese occupation. The key to urban change was construction of infrastructure such as railroads, levees, roads and modern facilities under the rule of Japan. At that time, the colonial government had established city plannings for the most of major cities in Korea, however it was not applied to Ulsan. Thus, urban change of Ulsan had been made mostly by construction of infrastructure unrelated to each other.The objects of this study are railroads, road and levees constructed by the colonial government.The areal range of this study are focused on the seven blocks in Jung Gu, the old downtown in Ulsan: four blocks among them were central area during the late Cho Sun Period and three blocks were shown in the first urban-sprawl. The time period on this study is from 1912 on which modern land registration maps and terriers were made out for the first time, to 1945, the year of liberation from Japan.To reveal the physical form of the old downtown at that time, land registration maps and terriers were used, and complemented by official gazettes, chronological tables, statistical data, articles and maps.
복합아민 적용에 따른 원전 2차 계통 부식생성물 거동평가

The aim of the study was to evaluate the water treatment of pressurized water reactor secondary side by the mixed amine of ammonia and ethanolamine, from the standpoint of corrosion control, as compared with all volatile treatment of ammonia. The pressurized water reactor systems have switched a secondary side pH control agent to minimize the corrosion in the moisture separator/reheater and feedwater heater systems and the transport of corrosion products into steam generator. As results of field test, pH was increased in the steam generator and the wet steam area of moisture separator/reheater and the concentration of Fe were decreased by more than 50% as compared with water treatment of ammonia.

Objectives: This study aimed to establish and provide reliable information for general public, based on expert consensus, on the risks of misuse of medicinal herbs for food and pure food ingredients for the fetus during pregnancy. Methods: A panelist of seven traditional Korean medicine (TKM) gynecologists responded to a questionnaire summarizing the fetal safety literature for twenty-five medicinal herbs for food and pure food ingredients derived from medicated diet (藥膳, Yaksun) recipes during three online Delphi rounds anonymously. Results: Ginkgonis Semen (Ginkgo nut), Illici Veri Fructus (Star anise), lavender, bitter gourd, and parsley were agreed at the level 1 of “Do not consume”. These five ingredients were recognized as having significant risks both in the literature evidence and in expert opinion. Rosemary, Citri Unshius Pericarpium, Discoreae Rhizoma, lemongrass, Schisandrae Fructus, Cassiae Semen, Foeniculi Fructus, Mori Fructus, Cinnamomi Cortex, and Astragali Radix were agreed at the level 2 of “consultation with TKM practitioner is required”. Conclusion: Based on the consensus of a seven-member expert panel of TKM gynecologists, consumption of Ginkgonis Semen (Ginkgo nut), Illici Veri Fructus (Star anise), lavender, bitter gourd, and parsley should be avoided by pregnant women. For Rosemary, Citri Unshius Pericarpium, Discoreae Rhizoma, lemongrass, Schisandrae Fructus, Cassiae Semen, Foeniculi Fructus, Mori Fructus, Cinnamomi Cortex, and Astragali Radix, the level 2 advisory may be recommended to use with caution and to consult a TKM practitioner for advice on consumption, dose, and duration.
