This research performed the laboratory model tests for Top-Base Foundation developed in Japan and Floating Top-Base Foundation developed in Korea on the typical clayey soft soils, namely, clay, clayey silt and clayey sand. The performances of the two types of top-base foundation were compared with each other and evaluated by measuring load-settlement, heaving of foundation side, ground stress distribution in this model tests. The change of settlement caused by the increase of top base width was also analyzed. As a result of the model tests, Floating Top-Base Foundation showed better performance in bearing capacity improvement, settlement decrease, stress dispersion effect and lateral confinement force. And settlement caused by the increase of top base width converged to a regular value from 5×5 layout of the width.. 일본에서 개발된 원추형 팽이기초(Top-Base Foundation)와 국내에서 개발된 부양형 팽이기초(Floating Top-Base Foundation)를 대상으로 대표 점토질 연약지반인 저압축성점토, 점토질 실트, 점토질 모래에 타설하여 실내모형실험을 수행하였다. 본 실험을 통해 하중-침하량, 기초측면 히빙량, 지중응력분포 등을 측정하여 두 가지 팽이기초의 성능을 비교·평가하였다. 또한, 단변길이 증가에 따른 침하량 변화를 분석하였다. 실내모형실험 결과 부양형 팽이기초가 지지력 증진, 침하량 저감, 응력분산효과, 측방구속력에 대해서 좀 더 우수한 성능을 발휘하는 것으로 나타났으며, 기초폭 증가에 따른 침하량은 팽이기초 5×5배열을 기점으로 수렴하였다.
Purpose: This study examined the influence of the consumption values on the attitudes and purchase intentions of consumers towards gluten-free products and compared consumption values, attitudes and purchase intentions according to the degree of health consciousness of the consumer. Methods: The data was collected from July 20, 2016 to August 2, 2016 through a questionnaire survey from three hundred and six consumers who had knowledge of gluten-free products. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and an independent sample t-test using the SPSS program. Results: The regression results showed that the exploratory value (p<0.01) had a negative influence on the attitudes, and the functional value (p<0.001) and emotional value (p<0.001) had a positive influence on the consumers' attitudes. In addition, the attitudes (p<0.001) toward gluten-free products had a positive influence on the purchase intentions. Finally, the high health consciousness group answered with a significantly higher score on the consumption values, attitudes and purchase intentions than the lower group. Conclusion: These results highlight the causal relationship among consumption values, attitudes, and purchase intentions of consumers towards gluten-free products, and can provide a basic understanding of gluten free products regarding both marketing strategy and consumers' needs. The potential implications for gluten-free products manufacturers, limitations and future research directions are also discussed.
Frontal sinusitis can cause an intractable frontal headache. Frequently, the external approach is performed for a lesion located in the lateral aspect of the frontal sinus. This area is considered to be “out of reach” for standard endoscopic instruments. However, problems such as scars can be a serious handicap of the external approach for patients with cosmetic concerns. We experienced a case of lateral frontal sinusitis associated with an intractable frontal headache, which was successfully treated via endoscopic sinus surgery aided by sagittal CT and intraoperative C-arm using K-wire instead of the external approach.
