We are on the verge of the entering the era of garden design. However, Landscape Architecture field has only experienced quantitative growth in public, parks and green space works. This was not an intentional development direction led by the Landscape Architecture professionals. However, we did not have the foresight to steer the work scope of our profession wisely in the past to include other work scope. Within the framework of our present day cultural societies, qualitative development of our outdoor environments is a requirement. To this end, we need to bring forth the culture of garden. Already there are many interests, various implementations and manifestation of garden concepts which are in keeping with current societal trends. Even though to date, Landscape Architecture professionals have been lacking in preparation, we need to embrace and spearhead the growth of the culture of gardens. Gardens contain the most basic as well as comprehensive principles that serve as the foundation of the Landscape Architecture concepts. We must redefine and reorganize our work to include garden culture as part of our profession. There needs to be studies into garden design methodologies and approaches as well as details, materials, and construction techniques. For plant materials, focus needs to be shifted from planting trees to use more flowers. This thesis contains examples of designed and built gardens globally. Also SFC(Steel Frame Cube) is introduced and featured. SFC is a new and versatile material well suited for use in outdoor designs. 바야흐로 정원의 시대가 도래했다. 하지만 조경분야는 공공부문의 공원․녹지 위주로만 성장하는 편향된 양적 성장의모습을 보여왔다. 물론 이것이 우리가 의도한 바는 아니지만, 긴 호흡으로 앞을 내다보지 못한 자성 또한 필요할 것이다. 이제는 질적 성숙이 요구되는 문화산업으로서 정원문화를 꽃피워야 한다. 이미 시대적 흐름과 트렌드는 이러한정원문화산업에 대한 많은 관심과 다양한 시도를 불러일으키고 있다. 조경 분야가 비록 그동안 준비를 소홀히 해왔지만, 지금이라도 우리의 역할을 제대로 하기 위해서는 분연히 일어서야한다. 조경의 가장 기본적인 바탕이며 전부라고 할 수도 있는 정원 분야는 앞으로 새롭게 정의되고, 정리되며, 정립되어야할 필요가 있다. 또, 여러 가지 방법론과 설계적 접근, 시공 상의 디테일한 시도, 소재와 자재의 더욱 발전되고 다양한 적용이 요구된다. 식물재료에 대한 관심도 수목에서 초화류로 중심 이동이 이루어져야 한다. 본 논문은 실제 수행했던 설계와 시공 사례를 가지고 정원의 한 모습을 보여줌과 동시에 설계된 정원들의 공통분모로서 사용된 SFC라는 새로운 조경자재를 소개하는 큰 의미를 가진다.
감각자극 분석을 통한 종합벼원 다인 병실의 치유 환경에 관한 건축 계획적 연구

Patients use the senses all the time, mostly simultaneously. Senses are never turned off even patients in serious condition use some of the senses. Space is the inexhaustible source of stimuli. So far we have thought that it is impossible to come up with a set of rules and guidelines that cover all the possible situations involving senses and when there have been usually no conscious coordination between different sensorial stimuli and the comprehensive perception of space always results from the engagement of combination of senses and other inputs based on knowledge and experience. This study concerns about patients' demand analysis through senses. The reflection of patients' demand to the ward planning can develope the healing environment.
뇌졸중 환자의 호흡근 훈련자세가 호흡근 활성도에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This study investigated the effects of respiratory muscle training posture on respiratory muscle activation in stroke patients and presented appropriate posture for the respiratory muscle training. Methods: Thirty-six stroke patients were assigned to either a neutral training posture (n = 13), habitual training posture (n = 12), or side bending training posture (n = 11) group. Respiratory muscle training was conducted using an inspiratory muscle trainer. Each group was asked to adopt either a neutral, habitual, or side-bending posture during respiratory muscle training, which was performed for 30 minutes per day, 10 sets, 3 times per week, for a total of 6 weeks. After each session, external intercostal muscles and sternocleidomastoid muscle activity were measured via surface electromyography. Results: The paretic or non-paretic side intercostal muscle differed significantly in the three groups, and the non-paretic side intercostal muscle was significantly decreased in the neutral training group. The non-paretic side sternocleidomastoid muscle differed significantly in the three groups, and the nonparetic side sternocleidomastoid muscle was significantly increased in the habitual training group. Conclusion: A neutral posture, where appropriate spine and trunk alignment is maintained, is a more effective posture for respiratory muscle training for improving respiratory function in stroke patients.
Preparation of zinc-doped magnesium oxide layer on a glass substrate by chemical solution deposition

Zn1-xMgxO thin films on soda-lime-silica glass substrates were prepared by chemical solution deposition (CSD) using a metal naphthenate precursor. The films were obtained by a 5 cycle spin-coated technique and prefired as-deposited films followed by final annealing in air at 550 oC for 30 minute. High resolution X-ray diffraction was used to verify the crystal structure of the films. Films with up to 50 mol% Mg incorporation were more than 85% transparent in the visible spectra region and the absorption edge shifted to a shorter wavelength as the Mg content increased.
공동주택의 가변성능 향상을 위한 Support 구조 형식 연구

The purpose of this study is to propose the support system of Open Housing which can be substituted for bearing wall system in order to improve the flexibility of apartment housing in Korea. As the optimal support system for realizing the open housing at this present time, I recommend the Flat Plate Slab System which is able to support structure without bearing wall, beam and girder. In korea, bearing wall system has been the major structural system of apartment housing. But bearing wall system is not able to follow the speed of life style change in these days, so it has to be replaced by Open Housing with flat plate slab structure system. Open housing system has many merits which are discussed in this thesis.
