대한민국의 동쪽 끝 섬인 독도의 거미상을 보고한다. 독도에서 채집하여 조사한 결과 2과 3속 3종의 거미류를 동정하여 확인하였다. 대륙게거미, 꽃게거미, 해안깡충거미가 채집되었으며, 각 종에 대한 기재를 하였다. We performed the spider survey from Dokdo (Is.). As a result, 3 species of spider species were identified belonging to 2 families and 3 genera in this island. Xysticus ephippiatus, Misumenops trcuspidatus, Hekka himeshimensis was observed from the island. These species was described with drawing of genitalia.

자연사박물관 교육프로그램에 대한 참가 학생과 학부모의 만족도 및 학교교육과의 연계에 대한 인식 조사: 서대문자연사박물관을 중심으로

이 연구의 목적은 자연사박물관 교육프로그램에 대한 참가자를 대상으로 만족도와 학교 과학 교육의 연계에 대한 인식을 조사하여 학교 밖 교육활동의 장으로서 자연사박물관 교육프로그램의 운영 방향에 대한 시사점을 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 공립 자연사박물관으로서 최근 6년간 3만명 이상의 가장 많은 교육 프로그램 수강생을 유치했으며 매년 60여 개의 다양한 프로그램을 개설함으로서 안정적으로 교육프로그램을 운영하고 있는 서울특별시 서대문구 소재의서대문자연사박물관을 대상 박물관으로 선정하였다. 2009년 여름학기 교육프로그램에 참가자 중 988명의 학생과 479명의 학부모를 대상으로 자연사박물관 교육프로그램에 대한 만족도 및 학교 교육과의 연계에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과로, 프로그램 내적으로는 전시물 활용 교육 강화와 실험시간의 확보가 중요하며 프로그램 외적으로는 교통 및 홍보에 대한개선이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 학교교육과의 연계는 지식적 측면 보다 탐구 능력 및 과학적 태도의 측면에서 연계가 될 수 있도록 하는 것이 더 중요하다는 인식이 많았다. The purpose of this research is to investigate the participant satisfaction of public educational programs being carried out in Natural History Museum and the contribution of these programs to normal school education and to suggest an improved framework for public education programs in Natural History Museum. For this study, we choose Seodaemun Museum of Natural History in Seodaemungu, Seoul, in which more than 30,000 students have participated in the educational programs for the last 6 years. This museum has been providing more than 60 science education programs every year. Based on a public census among participating students and accompanying parents, we investigated the satisfaction ratings of education programs provided by Natural History Museum and their contribution to school science education. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: (1) It is desired to have the education program contents well connected to the exhibits of the Museum and to increase time for experiments and practice. (2) It is required to improve the ease of access and to enhance the public awareness about the program itself. (3) The biggest consensus among participants is that the education programs by Natural History Museum should be focused on strengthening the research ability and scientific attitude rather than on acquiring knowledge, which will contribute to school education more significantly in the end.

전라남도 비금도와 도초도의 거미상과 그 다양성을 보고한다. 조사기간동안 총 1663 개체가 채집되어 그 중 943 개체가 동정되었다. 그 결과 19 과 34 속의 48 종이 확인되었는데, 우점과는 왕거미과(61.1%), 게거미과(9.1%), 늑대거미과(9.0%), 깡충거미과(8.7%), 무당거미과(7.2%)로 확인되었다. 우점종은 기생왕거미 19.4%), 산왕거미(14.3%), 긴호랑거미(9.5%) 등이었다. 비금도와 도초도의 거미상은 기존에 조사된 섬지역의 거미상과 비교, 분석되었다. Spider fauna and diversity are reported from the islands Bigeum-do and Docho-do, in Cholanam-do, Korea. A number of spiders collected during the survey were 1663 individuals and all of them, with the exception of 943 individuals, were identified. The samples included 48 species, which belong to 34 genera of 19 families. Five of 19 families were most frequently collected: Araneidae (61.1%), Thomisidae (9.1%), Lycosidae (9.0%), Salticidae (8.7%), and Nephilidae (7.2%). Of the collected samples, common species were as follows: Larinioides cornutus(19.4%), Araneus ventricosus (14.3%), Argiope bruennichii (9.5%), Neoscona nautica (7.5%), Nephila clavata (7.2%), and Menemerus fulvus (6.8%). When spider fauna of Bigeum-do and Docho-do were compared with the faunae from other published studies of Korean islands, the following five species were found in only Bikum-do and Docho-do: Steatoda albomaculata (De Geer,1778), Alopecosa licenti (Schenkel, 1953), Clubiona kurilensis Bosenberg et Strand, 1906, Myrmarachne formicaria (De Geer, 1778), and Pardosa brevivulva Tanaka, 1975.

교육프로그램 분석을 통한 비형식 과학교육기관의 교육적 역할 제고: 서대문자연사박물관을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to improve education program for Informal Science Education Institution by analyzing education program of Natural History Museum, one of informal science education institution. This research subject is Seodaemun Museum of Natural History, located in Seodaemun-Gu, Seoul. It is Public Natural History Museum, which runs more than 60 education programs every year continuously for recent 6 years. Objects of this study are 32 education programs for 3rd to 6th grade of elementary school. The result of study shows that teaching materials of programs, run by informal science education institution, don`t contain enough script and activity for improving creativity and inquiring mind. As the result of the study, it is required that guidance plan of education program be developed with more activities, teaching method and script , to seek quality of class than quantity of that when developing education program of science education institutes. And it is required to develop teaching material using creative technique and to improve medium and long term program for development of feedback.
