      • 寒地型 잔디의 生態에 關한 硏究

        Some ecological characteristics of Colonial species, a kind of Temperate turf grass, were investigated. The results obtained were as follows; There was intermittent increase in the number of division after being seed. The smaller the quantity of seeding was, the more increase was the leaf length. With the height of cutting length, leaf length was longer and the number of leaf was more.

      • 柚子(Citrus junos Siebet Tanaka)의 生長點 培養에 關한 硏究

        Studies were conducted to establish the method of sterilization of shoots, to select optimum time for shoot collection, to determine concentration of growth regulators for the callus induction and platelet from the callus of Yuzu. These works were parts of the attempts to explore the possibility obtaining the virus-free platelets through the meristem culture. The results obtained were summarized as follows. Yuzu shoots were readily damaged by common surface sterilants. In this study, the following procedure provided undamaged sterile shoot tips: the terminal 3-5㎝ portions of the shoots were collected into sterile distilled water and then immersed momentarily in 0.04% Tween 80 and 3-4 washes of sterile distilled water and immediately afterwards in 0.04% Tween 20 and 0.5% Sodium hypochlorite solution for 10-15 minutes, then followed by a rinse of 95% ethanol and 3-5 washed of sterile distilled water. The optimum time for shoot collection was many. The best medium for the callus induction was the modified MS medium supplemented with 2.0㎎/ℓIBA, 2.0㎎/ℓ Kinetin, 2.0㎎/ℓ NAA. The best effective concentration growth regulators for shoot differentiation was IBA 1.0㎎/ℓ+IBA 1.0㎎/ℓ+GA_3 0.1㎎/ℓ The best effective concentration of growth regulators for root differentiation was IBA 1.0㎎/ℓ+GA_3 0.1㎎/ℓ or IBA 1.0㎎/ℓ

      • 잔디에 있어서 窒素 및 MH-30處理가 成長에 미치는 影響

        This experiment was coonduct to investingate the effects of nitrogen application and MH-30 treatment concentration on plant Height, fresh weight, clipping rate in chewings fescue. The plant height was varied at the mount of nitrogen application and MH-30 treatment concentration and it was decreased as increasing No. of days after nitrogen application and MH-30 treatment. The fresh weight was heavy at the high level nitrogen application, and that was light at the high level MH-30 treatment concentration. The clipping rate was increased wnder MH-30 treatment but it was various at different nitrogen application level. The relationship MH-30 treatment concentration and No. of days after MH-30 treatment in various nitrogen application was high positive correlation. and that of MH-30 treatment 0.25㏄/㎡ was high correlation at the low nitrogen application, and that of MH-30 treatment 0.50㏄/㎡ was high correlaion at the high nitrogen application.

      • Kiwifruit 의 生長點 培養에 관한 硏究

        This experiment was conducted to establish the method of sterilization of shoots, to select optimum time shoot collection from the meristem culture of kiwifruit. The results of these were summarized as follows: 1. Kiwifruit shoots were readily damaged by common surface sterilants. In this study, the following procedure provided undamaged sterile shoot tips: the terminal 3-4㎝ protions of the shoots were collected in to sterile distilled water and them immersed momentarily in 0.04% Tween 20 and 5% sodium hypochlorite solution for 5 minutes. then followed by a rinse of 99% ethanol and 5 washes of sterile distikked water. It was possible to acquire undamaged sterile meristem of 90% with this sterilization procedure. 2. The optimum time shoot collection was mid-May.

        중.소도시 하천의 친환경적 활용 잠재력 평가에 관한 연구 -전남 순천시 하천을 사례로-

        This study aims to evaluate the potential of pro-environmental application(PEP) in streams conceptualized ecological conservation and recreational use to be in harmony with. The main content of research are to clarify the PEP, to establish the evaluation model, and to evaluate 3 streams(Dongchon, Seokhyunchon, Okchon) in Sunchon city. Researchers introduced 12 evaluation items(water quality, water quantity, vegetation-water area, vegetation conservation, streamscape, neighborhood landscape, stream width, optimum area, nearby landuse, facility in stream, distance from user, obstacle to acces) by 5 scales to evaluate the characteristics of natural and artificial factors in stream area and nearby area. Also to decide the weight of items, researchers surveyed the opinion of 22 landscape architects experienced stream-plan through delphi method. Lastly the pro-environmental potential on streams were calculated by the ecological potential and recreational potential indices to be standardized and indicidual sections in streams were divided 5 grades on the basis of PEP. The result of this study are as follows; 1) The evaluation model of PEP was constructed by 4 steps, such as the decision of weight, the measurement of scale, the calculation of potential indices, the gradation of individual sections in streams. 2) The ecological potential were highly influenced by natural factor such as water quality, vegetation conservation, vegetation-water area, but on the other hand the recreational potential were influenced by optimum area, distance from user, water quantity, obstacle to access. 3) The factors such as vegetation conservation, optimum area, nearby landuse, distance from user were function as discernment factors to evaluate relatively ecological and recreational potential. and water quality, water quantity, vegetation -water area, neighborhood landscape were acted as important items to decide PEP.

      • 잔디에 있어서 溫度 및 GA處理가 發芽에 미치는 影響

        Effects and reflections of turf germination were inspected on some turf seeds of temperate turf grasses-Creeping red fescue, Flyingking and Bent grass through temperature changes an GA measurements in order that the creation of turf field might be brought into green color of the four seasons in an early stage. The results are summarized as the following; It is shown that turf seeds have had an intermittent difference by temperature and they have had the rate of fast germination on the fifth day after seeding. It is shown that they have had the rate of the highest germinating on the 25℃ and that the higher the tenperature is, the lower the rate of germinations is. It is that the Flyingking seeds, which are lower in the rate of germination have had an accelation of germination after being deposited for five hours but the others has not.

      • 잔디원의 雜草防除에 關한 硏究 : 第1報 主要雜草 調査 및 防除法 究明 1. Survery of Major Weed Species Occurring in Korean Lawngrass and Their Control Methods.

        This study was attempted to classify the major weed species growing in the patch of Zoysia tenuifolia W., and to search for the most effective means for collecting them and getting rid of them. 1. There were 45 weed species growing in this experimental area and the names of them were Trifolium repens L, Hydrocotyle ramiflora M, Poa annus L, and Eragrostis malticaulis S. etc. 2. Besides, there appeared Stellaria alsine G, Cardamine flexuosa W, Draba nemorosa L. Rorippa atrovirens O, and Artemisia Princeps Var. orientalis H, etc. 3. The use of herbicides such as PARAKO, LASO, 2.4D and was shown to be effective in May, but not to be in July. 4. 2.4D had a great effective power for Hydrocotyle ramiflora M, 1/2 standard amount as well as to a certain standard amount but had no effective power for the others.

        This study was designed to make basic reference for the reconstruction of the central area along with cultural plan for street trees in the city under the specific study of present existing buildings and street trees along the road in the central area of the city where contains lots of automobile traffic and human as well as follows, 1) A location, land Form and thopography. 2) Soil. 3) Climatic factors. 4) The present condition of the use of surrounding land. 5) The present condition of park system. 6) An economical social analysis. 7) The landscape analysis of the site etc. to be analyzed in accordance with the actual features of existences and sorting out over all evaluation of characteristics and problem area so as to be used as references. Conducted questionary investigation over the residences in order to define the reality of their demands and tendency to used of the areas and physical site survey was made, 1) It was urgently required separated traffic system to be established in the central area where is the roads had been suffered long time with mixed traffic by automobile and human along. 2) City has 6 place of green park areas in total spase of 7121200m ²however it was in the city plan but there was no use noticed. 3) It was required better orderly reconstruction or improvement of city street building to be executed and the variness of size and color of sign board on every shop or stores in the streed gives much stimulus to the people. 4) The degree of demand of resident for improvement of city environment was high but there is lack of potentiality and no investments for the betterment of city environment was noticed.

      • 토란葉柄束 程度가 球 및 葉柄收量에 미치는 影響

        營養繁殖 作物인 토란의 生育期間中에 繼續 發生하는 葉柄束數가 토란 生長과 收量 그리고 品質에 미치는 影響을 究明하고자 本 試驗을 實施하였던 바 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 放任株가 葉柄束數를 制限한 것보다 株當葉數와 토란 個數가 많고 小球數가 적으며 大球數가 많아서 平均 球重이 무거웠다. 2. 葉柄束數가 적은 株에서 母球의 增量이 많았으나 葉柄收量은 反對의 傾向이었다. 3. 토란 收量은 葉柄束數가 많을수록 增加되는 傾向으로 放任數가 가장 收量이 높았으므로 生育期間中에 發生한 葉柄束을 除去할 必要가 없을 것으로 思料된다. This study was carried out in order to investigate the effect of seed tuber weight and elimination of petiole bundle during growing season on growth and yield in Colocasia antiquorum ScHoTT. The results are summarized as follows. 1. In these petiole bundle treatments, when number of petiole bundles was increased, number of leaf and tuber per hill were increased, with a few small tuber and many large tubers. Consequently, the average weight of tuber was increased. 2. Yield of mother tuber was increased when number of petiole bundle was decreased. While number of petiole bundle was increased yield of petiole tended to increase apparently. 3. When number of petiole bundle was increased, yield of tuber was increased for the good growth. According to this experimental result, it was not necessary to remove the petiole bundle during growing season because yield was increased apparently in the plot of no removal of petiole bundle.

        本 硏究는 6-Benzylaminopurine이 各種 잔디種子의 發芽와 初期생育에 미치는 影響에 있어서 규명하였다. 1. 種子의 發芽에 미치는 4x ?? ∼4x ?? Mr가 促進效果였고 4x ?? ∼4x ?? Mr以上의 濃度에 抑制效果가 있었다. 2. 發芽初期生育의 影響에 있어서는 4x ?? Mr에서 葉身長과 根長. 葉數와 根數를 증가의 효과가 있었으며 4x10?Mr이上의 濃度에는 抑制效과의 경향이 있었다. This is a study of the influence of 6-Binzylaminopurine upon germination and growth of turfgrass. The germination of turfgrass was promoted in the concentration from 4 x ?? to 4 x ?? Mr in the concentration from 4x ?? and upward. The treatment of the concentration of 4x ?? Mr made the turfgrass widen the leaves and lengthen the roots and in crease the number of leaves and root in the first stage of germination. But the treatment of the concentration of 4x ?? Mr and upward showed a tendency to arrest them.
