        Effects of Production of Ever-bearing Strawberries Using Cool Air from Mushroom Cultivation House

        We designed a system that can automatically collect, convey, and control cool air of 15oC-20oC containing carbon dioxide from a mushroom cultivation house to a strawberry plastic house. We recorded the temperature at various positions from July to August 2017. The average temperature of the green house during day and at night was maintained at 33oC and 26oC, respectively. In the moveable three-tier cylindrical bed, the average temperature around root was maintained at 26oC and 21oC during day and at night, respectively. On the high-bench in the green house, the temperature was maintained at 32oC and 30oC during day and at night, respectively. The carbon dioxide concentration was maintained around 800-1,600 ppm in the mushroom cultivation system and 400-800 ppm in the strawberry plastic house. The growth characteristics of the strawberry treated with moveable three-tier cylindrical bed were significantly different from those of the untreated high-bench bed. In addition, during the summer season, moveable three-tier cylindrical bed showed more tendency to increase in normal fruit number (NFN) and to decrease in defective fruit number (DFN) compare to the high-bench bed. Therefore, the moveable three-tier cylindrical bed showed a tendency to be more than 2 times higher yields than that of the high-bench bed. It was confirmed that everbearing strawberry cultivars could be cultivated in green house due to the cool air supply from the mushroom cultivation system in the summer season.

        준·고령자 직업선호도검사 개발

        Vocational Preference Inventory(VPI) for the Middle-Older aged is developed to understand the aged's psychological characteristics and to support to vocational choices and preparations considering their own characteristics. This VPI has developed suitable test questions for the Aged on the basis of an existing WorkNet's Adult Vocational Preference Inventory(simplified version, 2008) based on Holland's Vocational Interest Theory. It has followed the process of analyzing reliability and making norm, and revised the suggested vocations of test results. This VPI for the Middle-Older aged consists of 72 questions. This VPI for the Middle-Older aged consists of three aspects named activity, competence and preference. Each aspect consists of six vocational preference type and there are four questions per vocational preference type. Cronbach's Alpha is generally satisfactory level at 0.61~0.81. Also there is developed the computer program for implementing manual and grading automatically and writing a table of results of this VPI for the Middle-Older aged to enhance the application to people who help the Aged's employment. It is provided for Manpower Bank for the Aged. Also the computer program of Middle-Older Aged Vocational Preference Inventory will be loaded on Senior WorkNet(http:// senior.work.go.kr/). 준·고령자 직업선호도검사는 고령자의 심리적 특성을 이해하고, 각 특성을 고려한 직업 선택 및 준비를 지원하기 위하여 개발되었다. 본 연구는 고령자 심리검사에 관한 선행연구와 고령자인재은행 등의 고령자 취업지원 담당자 요구조사 결과를 바탕으로 50세 이상부터 70대까지 준·고령자를 위한 직업선호도검사의 개발 필요성을 인식하고, 검사 개발과 활용의 효율성을 제고하기 위해 Holland의 직업흥미이론을 기초로 개발된 성인용 직업선호도검사 개정연구(2008)를 토대로 표준화된 간편형 검사를 개발하였다. 구체적인 연구내용 및 방법은 준․고령자에게 적합한 검사문항을 개발하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하고, 신뢰도 분석, 규준 제작 등을 위해 예비조사 및 본조사를 실시하였으며, 검사결과 제시 직업의 수정․보완을 위해 설문조사 및 전문가협의회를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 준․고령자 직업선호도검사는 3개 하위척도(활동, 유능성, 선호분야)에 6개 직업흥미유형별 4개 문항씩 총 72개 문항으로 구성되며, 내적 일치도 지수는 0.61~0.81로 대체로 만족스러운 수준이었고, 성별·연령대별 규준표를 제시하고 있다. 한편, 고령자 취업지원 담당자들의 활용도를 제고하기 위하여 준·고령자 직업선호도검사 실시요강과 자동 채점 및 검사결과표 작성을 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램을 개발하여 전국 고령자인재은행에 제공하였다.

        This article aims at exploring Waldorf teacher training. It seems that Waldorf teacher training is a crucial element for success of Waldorf school today. Waldorf schools devote the education integrating thinking, feeling and doing capacities of children. They, therefore, require a teacher as an artist. The main features of Waldorf teacher training, which may affect Korean teacher training, are as follows. First, Waldorf teachers follow a continuing path of self-education. The fact that each school teachers is committed to teach the entire curriculum and teach different grade each year for 8 years is both stimulating and demanding. Through a continuing inner awakening and self-development, they nourish the enthusiasm for teaching. Second, Waldorf teacher training course integrate artistic and partial activity through the curriculum as a method of educating the whole child. Third, Waldorf teacher training is closely related to waldorf school.

        적성검사에 대한 학부모의 인식 및 기대

        The purpose of this study was to examine whether parents get the results of aptitude tests taken by their children at school, parents understand the basic elements of aptitude tests, and what they expect from aptitude tests. Results of this study shows that 36.4% of parents did not know the fact that their children had taken an aptitude test. Most of parents wanted to use the results of aptitude test as reference material for career guidance. Also, parents thought that their children's opinion is more important than aptitude test results. Some parents did not know about aptitude test. Parents thought it is difficult to understand the result table of aptitude test. Parents thought that aptitude test is good for them to understand their children's characteristic and behavior.Based on the results of this study the followings were suggested. First, a results table of aptitude test should be reformed to understand a results table of aptitude test more easily. Second, Information about counseling institute and test development institute should be included in a results table of aptitude test so that parents can ask information on aptitude test and help for understanding the results.

        문화감응교육(culturally responsive pedagogy)의 재음미

        본고의 목적은 다문화교육의 한 접근인 문화감응교육(culturally responsive pedagogy)의 의미를 재음미하는 것이다. 문화감응교육은 다문화교육을 실현하기 위해 교육 현장에서 실제로 무엇을 어떻게 할 것인가 하는 구체적인 논의를 포함하고 있다. 한국의 교육현장 역시 다문화교육을 실천하기 위한 구체적인 논의에 주목할 필요가 있다고 생각한다. 더욱이 교육현장에서 다양한 배경의 학생 수는 급증하는데 다문화교육은 여전히 소수 학생들을 대상으로 하는 일회성 행사에 그치는 경향이 있기 때문이다. 문화감응교육은 미국에서 인종간 학업성취 격차를 줄일 수 있는 교육을 모색하면서 제기된 개념으로, 주류 백인이 아닌 소수 그룹의 학생들을 성공적으로 가르친 교사들을 연구하면서 다문화교육 실현을 위한 보다 구체적인 교육논의로 발전해왔다. 이와 같이 문화감응교육의 의미는 문화적 차이에 상관없이 모든 이를 위한 공평한 교육을 위해 형성된 개념이다. 그런데 오늘날 문화감응교육은 그 의미가 단순화되고 축소되어 특정 교수법에 국한해서 이해되는 경향이 있다. 더욱이 신자유주의 교육개혁 속에서 문화감응교육의 실천은 더 어려워지고 있다. 연구 목적을 위해 Ⅱ장에서는 먼저 문화감응교육 개념이 제기된 문제의식 속에서 그 의미와 특징을 살펴볼 것이다. Ⅲ장에서는 문화감응교육이 신자유주의 교육개혁 속에서 그 취지를 실현하지 못하고 있으며, 인종간 학업성취격차를 줄이기 위해 제기된 문제의식은 별로 주목받지 못하고 그 의미가 축소되고 주변화되며, 정치적 분석과 실천이 빠진 실태를 소개 할 것이다. 마지막으로 문화감응교육의 정립과 실천을 위한 방안을 탐색할 것이다. The purpose of this paper is to reconsider the meaning of ‘Culturally Responsive Pedagogy(CRP)'. The concept of CRP has been used to solve the problems of achievement gap among cultures and races in America. The CRP has been developed as a paradigm of education and teaching practices to aim multicultural education by researching the practices of exemplary teachers who have successfully taught African-American students. Thus, its meaning has been formed for a fair education of having benefits to all regardless of cultural background. Today, however it is being simplified, reduced and considered as certain teaching methods or skills. Furthermore, it is becoming more difficult to realize the CRP in neoliberal education reform system that has been mentioned above. In Ch. Ⅱ this study will examine the feature of CRP in the problems which originated the concept of CRP. In Ch. Ⅲ it will address the present conditions that the CRP cannot realize its object in neoliberal education reform, the given problem to reduce achievement gap among cultures and races could not get attention, its meaning is being simplified and briefed, and political analysis of the CRP is missing. Lastly, the author will explore the way how the CRP is corrected and realized actually. To establish and realize the CRP, the meaning of CRP should be understood in its concept formation background. And also we should pay attention to the importance of teachers who can practice CRP.

        노년기 건강검진과 건강행동의 관계에 대한 종단적 연구

        Objectives: Despite the increasing importance of older adults' own health behaviors in achieving healthy aging, there has been lack of research on associations between health screening and other health behaviors of older adults. The present study aims to examine longitudinal associations between health screening and smoking, drinking, and practice of regular exercise among older adults. Methods: Analyse were based on 2,458 individuals aged 65 and over who participated in the 1-4 waves of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing (KLoSA). Generalized Estimating Equations were performed to investigate associations between health screening and health behaviors when effects of demographic characteristics and health-related variables were controlled. Results: Findings suggested that older adults who participated in private health screening showed a lower odds of drinking over the 6-year-period. Both public screening and private screening were associated with greater odds practice of regular exercise. Conclusions: Results from the present analyses emphasized health screening, as a preventive health behavior, could promote healthier lifestyle of older adults and suggest potential needs for follow-up after health screening.

        한국 교사교육 철학 연구 동향

        The purpose of this paper is to make an overview and analyse a tendency of research in the philosophy of teacher education. The author analyses 48 journal articles which about the philosophy of teacher education. The framework for analysing is as follows: ① searching for essence of teacher & teachers' knowledge ② views of teaching & teacher ethics ③ critical inquiry into teachers' reality & logical assumptions of teacher education ④ alternative direction of teacher education ⑤ policy & system of teacher education ⑥ analysis of concept 'teachers professionalism' ⑦ teacher education & philosophy of education. Based on the analysis of the philosophical studies focused on teacher education critical suggestions could be as follows. First, the philosophical research on teacher education need to diversify its interest and theme. Secondly, in order to overcome the problems of teachers and teacher education, research of education(including philosophy of education) must focus on current educational practices. Thirdly, a field of teacher education could not be an object of research of a specific field of pedagogy. For the sake of better teacher education, subdivisions of pedagogy must do a dialogue and working together. 본고는 한국에서 이루어지고 있는 교사교육 철학 또는 교사교육의 관점에 관한 연구 동향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 교사교육의 철학에 관한 학술지 논문 49편을 대상으로 내용 분석하였다. 내용분석을 위한 분석틀은 ① 본질 탐구(교사의 본질/교사의 자질/교사의 지식에 관한 탐구) ② 교사관과 교직윤리 ③ 지배적인 교사의 현실과 교사교육의 논리적 가정에 대한 비판적 탐구 ④ 대안적 교사교육의 방향 ⑤ 교사교육 정책/교사교육제도/교원임용시험 ⑥ 교사교육을 둘러싼 개념 분석:‘교사전문성'개념에 대한 비판적 분석 ⑦ 교사교육과 교육철학이다. 연구 동향 분석을 기초로 향후 교사교육의 철학적 탐구를 위한 비판적 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사교육에 관한 철학적 탐구는 관심과 주제를 더 다양화할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 교사의 현실과 교사교육의 문제점을 극복하기 위해서, 교육철학적 탐구는 교육현장의 실제에 관심을 가져야 한다. 셋째, 교사교육 분야는 교육학 분과학문 분야 중 특정 한 분야의 연구 대상일 수 없다. 따라서 교사교육의 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 교육학 분과학문 내 대화와 협력이 필수적이다.
