For heat pipes with ethanol as a working fluid operating in a relatively high condenser temperature range<br/> of 80 to 150℃, an adequate wick geometry must be provided to ensure an operation against unfavorable<br/> operation condition. A woven-wire wick were selected for the test of a heat pipe with long evaporator of 1.5 m<br/> and short condenser of 0.05 m which may be used for an evacuated solar collector. To provide a baseline<br/> performance of the same operating condition, a thermosyphon of identical outer dimension was also tested<br/> and compared. The woven-wire wick heat pipe proved to be most excellent from the viewpoint of thermal<br/> resistance during steady-state operation.
This research is that analyze multi-body system that have flexibility. We composed system consisted of crane, part of traveling and robot. And we analyzed the aspect of vibration when this system runs using ADAMS. Through this research we can analyze vibration and displacement of end-effect pill of the large size robot. And this research can become reference that is going to analyze resemblant dynamic system.
This paper presents a new experimental Servo-Parameter tuning technique for a 6-axes articulated robot manipulator, especially considering robot's dynamics. First of all, investigation for proportional gain of velocity control loop by using a Dynamic Signal Analyzer(DSA) is performed. Using the FUNCTION characteristic of DSA based on the Bode plot, the Bode plot of open loop transfer function can be obtained. In turn, the integral gain of a servo controller can be found out by using the integration time constant extracted from the Bode plot of open loop transfer function. In the meanwhile, the positional gain of the servo controller can be obtained by using the Bode plot of the closed loop transfer function. Using the experimental gain tuning technique proposed in this paper, the testing linear motion of DR6-Ⅱ robot has been shown to be more accurate rather than the motion with a conventional(empirical) gain tuning technique in Doosan Mecatec Co., Ltd., by improving the dynamic response of the robot as well as synchronizing each joint velocity according to the positional command of an end-effector.
The important function of Ball-Stop part is to operate power shift using suitable pneumatic force for vehicle with more than 5 ton when a driver changes gear. In this paper, we have applied the concept of the DFSS(Design for Six Sigma) to robust design of Ball-Stop part. First, we have found the control factors which could mainly influence the performance of the Ball-Stop part. The simulations of contact between head and detent pin was performed to evaluate effect of control factors according to DOE(Design of experiment) by using ADAMS<SUP>®</SUP><SUP></SUP>. Finally, we have obtained optimal levels of each factors using MINITAB<SUP>®</SUP>. Through the comparison of the result of optimized design with one of inintial design, we have verified the usefulness of DFSS method which can be applied to robust design of mechanical systems.

We have also proposed the technique to find out an optimal parameter of a notch filter, which has a great influence on vibration reduction, by using the damping factor extracted from the Bode plot of closed loop transfer function.
This paper presents the development of a new climbing mechanism for inter-block welding in Shipbuilding. The climbing mechanism is that it is career type of robot that can pass over block interval for welding of interblock in shipbuilding. The point part of mechanism is that move ballscrew. The Ballscrew`s capacity account and dynamic analysis of leg part are achieved through this paper. Force and torque analysis were achieved by simulation. This can have strong point in side of cost-cutting and welding amount of work than existent method.
