Recently nanoscience and nanotechnology have been studied intensively, and many plants, insects, and animals in nature have been found to have nanostructures in their bodies. Among them, lotus leaves have a unique nanostructure and microstructure in combination and show superhydrophobicity and a self-cleaning function to wipe and clean impurities on their surfaces. Coating films with combined nanostructures and microstructures resembling those of lotus leaves may also have superhydrophobicity and self-cleaning functions; as a result, they could be used in various applications, such as in outfits, tents, building walls, or exterior surfaces of transportation vehicles like cars, ships, or airplanes. In this study, coating films were prepared by dip coating method using polypropylene polymers dissolved in a mixture of solvent, xylene and non-solvent, methylethylketon, and ethanol. Additionally, attempts were made to prepare nanostructures on top of microstructures by coating with the same coating solution with an addition of carbon nanotubes, or by applying a carbon nanotube over-coat on polymer coating films. Coating films prepared without carbon nanotubes were found to have superhydrophobicity, with a water contact angle of $152^{\circ}$ and sliding angle less than $2^{\circ}$. Coating films prepared with carbon nanotubes were also found to have a similar degree of superhydrophobicity, with a water contact angle of 150 degrees and a sliding angle of 3 degrees.
Modulating the Voltage-sensitivity of a Genetically Encoded Voltage Indicator

Saturation mutagenesis was performed on a single position in the voltage-sensing domain (VSD) of a genetically encoded voltage indicator (GEVI). The VSD consists of four transmembrane helixes designated S1-S4. The V220 position located near the plasma membrane/extracellular interface had previously been shown to affect the voltage range of the optical signal. Introduction of polar amino acids at this position reduced the voltage-dependent optical signal of the GEVI. Negatively charged amino acids slightly reduced the optical signal by 33 percent while positively charge amino acids at this position reduced the optical signal by 80%. Surprisingly, the range of V220D was similar to that of V220K with shifted optical responses towards negative potentials. In contrast, the V220E mutant mirrored the responses of the V220R mutation suggesting that the length of the side chain plays in role in determining the voltage range of the GEVI. Charged mutations at the 219 position all behaved similarly slightly shifting the optical response to more negative potentials. Charged mutations to the 221 position behaved erratically suggesting interactions with the plasma membrane and/or other amino acids in the VSD. Introduction of bulky amino acids at the V220 position increased the range of the optical response to include hyperpolarizing signals. Combining The V220W mutant with the R217Q mutation resulted in a probe that reduced the depolarizing signal and enhanced the hyperpolarizing signal which may lead to GEVIs that only report neuronal inhibition.
기술 · 가정과‘정보통신기술의 활용’단원에서 문제 해결 과제 중심 수업이 개념 이해와 학습 태도에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of problem solving with task-based activities on understanding of major concepts and learning attitude in 'Applications of ICT' subject. In teaching the 4th class of 'Applications of ICT' subject, problem solving with reasoning task-based activities are used for the experimental groups and instructor-oriented teaching for the comparative groups. The results are as follows:First, no meaningful difference was found in the pretest result of concepts of ICT, while posttest found that the students with problem solving with reasoning task-based activities in experimental group marked average 5.87 point higher than the control group and showed meaningful difference at significance level p<.05. Dividing concepts about Information Communication Technology into four domains, there were no meaningful difference between two groups in the concept test about communication principles and methods and network, while the test results about the other two concepts, that is, expressions and patterns of information and compositions and types of communication network, showed the meaningful difference at significance level p<.05. Second, the research proved that the experimental group with problem solving with reasoning task-based activity teaching, compared to the control group with lecture, showed desirable change in learning attitude. From the results, the solving with reasoning task-based activity model is better teaching-learning method compared to lecture, revealing positive change in understanding major concepts of information and communication technology and learning attitude. 이 연구는 기술・가정과‘정보통신기술의 활용’단원에서 문제 해결 과제중심 수업이 주요 개념의 이해 정도와 학습 태도에 미치는 효과를 밝히는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 4차시에 해당하는‘정보통신기술의 활용’단원을 실험집단에게는 문제 해결 과제 중심 수업으로 진행하고 통제집단에게는 강의식 수업으로 진행하였다. 서울특별시 소재 중학교 2학년 2개 학급 각 68명으로 구성된 실험집단과 통제집단에 대해 개념의 이해 정도와 학습 태도를 실험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보통신에 대한 개념 이해 정도를 알아본 실험에서는 사전검사에서 두 집단 사이에 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 사후검사에서는 문제 해결 과제중심 수업을 한 실험집단이 강의식 수업을 한 통제 집단보다 평균 5.87점 높게 나타났다. 아울러 p< .05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 정보 통신에 대한 개념을 4개의 하위 영역으로 구분하였을 때, 통신의 원리와 방식, 네트워크의 연결에 대한 개념 이해에 관한 2개 영역의 검사에서는 두 집단 사이에 p< .05 수준에서 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 나머지 2개 영역인 정보의 표현과 유형, 통신 네트워크의 구성과 종류에 관한 개념 이해 검사에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 학습태도에 관한 실험에서는 문제 해결 과제 중심 수업을 적용한 실험집단이 강의식 수업을 적용한 통제집단보다 학습태도가 더 바람직하게 변화되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는‘정보통신기술의 활용’단원에서 문제 해결 과제중심 수업이 강의식 수업에 비해 주요 개념의 이해 정도와 학습 태도를 보다 긍정적으로 향상시킴을 보여준다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to report the effects of Abdomial-Moxibustion on abdomen and palm temperature Methods: This study was performed on 42 patients with gastrointestinal trouble, lower abdominal symptoms or hand cold(or hot) hypersensitivity to observe difference in temperature of skin surface between before and after 5 times abdominal-moxibustion using digital infrared themographic imaging(D.I.T.I) Results: After 5 times moxibustion, temperature $difference({\Delta}t)$ on chest. abdomen and palm is reduced each other. Besides the symptoms of patient are alleviated Conclusion: This study showed that abdominal-moxibustion is reducing temperature difference on the body.

탄화규소는 그 표면에 형성되는 산화규소막 때문에 고온에 견디는 우수한 내열 내산화성 재료이다. 1800 ℃ 이상의 초고온에서는 산화규소막도 적극적 산화가 일어나며 일산화규소 형태로 증발하므로 보호할 수 있는 코팅막이 부가적으로 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 보호막으로 높은 융점을 가지는 산화이트륨 코팅막을 스프레이 코팅법을 이용하여 제조하였다. 스프레이 코팅과 소결 공정을 통하여 100 마이크론 두께의 견고한 코팅막을 제조할 수 있었으며, 가압 처리할 경우 매우 치밀한 코팅막을 제작할 수 있었다. Silicon carbide is an excellent heat resistant and high oxidation resistant material at high temperature due to silicon oxide film formed on its surface. However silicon oxide film is degraded by active oxidation and vaporized to silicon monoxide at high temperature over 1800℃. Thus, additional coating film is required for protecting silicon oxide film. In this study, yttrium oxide coating film having high melting point was prepared to overcome this problem. Films were prepared by spray coating method or brush method. The microstructure and chemical composition were examined before and after the test with scanning electron microscopy and electron probe microanalysis.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect on a patient with bulimia nervosa-purging type and depression according to the oriental medical treatment and cognitive-behavioral therapy. In this case, a 28 year-old female patient had a binge eating and reward behaviors for 2 years. This patient was treated with acupunture therapy, Soyo-san for 5 months after cognitive-behavioral therapy for 12 sessions(2 times a week). The result of this research showed that bulimia nervosa with depression was improved by our treatment.

Objectives : There were few reports on Erysipelas, from Secondary Skin Infection after Herpes Zoster. We treated Erysipelas, from Secondary Skin Infection after Herpes Zoster with Oriental medical approach, and got a significant results. So We are reporting this case. Methods : Herb medication, acupuncture treatment were applied for treating patient`s chief symptoms (erythema, heat sensation, swelling, pain, itching and general weakness) Results : The patient was 5-year-old boy who had the symptoms caused by Erysipelas, which was caused by secondary skin infection after herpes zoster. He had erythema, heat sensation, swelling, pain, itching and general weakness. We judged him as Soyangin(少陽人), and prescribed Hyeongbangsaback-san. After he took Hyeongbangsaback-san, the symptom and general condition were improved. In this report, we want to explain the healing process and the result of the treatment of Erysipelas. Conclusions : More study about oriental treatment on Erysipelas, from Secondary Skin Infection after Herpes Zoster is needed.
