        2009 개정 고등학교 과학교과서의 과학글쓰기 활동 분석 : 글쓰기 유형, 형태, 과학적 소양, 비판적 사고를 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the writing activities in six species of high school science textbooks and to provide basic data to explore the direction of science writing class. Analytical standards on writings systems are in aspects such as writing type, form and the supplementary materials. Analytical standards on science education goals are in aspects such as scientific literacy and critical thinking. In terms of writings systems, there are 320 science writings in textbooks. They are significantly different from publisher and section. As a result of writing type; there are 256(80%) explanatory writings, 46(14%) critical writings, and 18(6%) creative writings. Therefore, the results show a bias towards explanatory writing. As a result of writing form; there are 138(43%) completed forms, 111(35%) recognition-checking forms, and 71(22%) research-practice forms. Completed form and recognition-checking form are both considerable parts of the total. So, scientific writing education is still in a system that focuses around recognition and memorization. In terms of science education goals, the result of scientific literacy emphasized in science writing is as followed. 158(49%) is of the scientific knowledge, 116(36%) is of STS, and 46(14%) is of the processes of science. Thus the results are concentrated in the dimension of the scientific knowledge. However, it does show a significant difference depending on the section. Different dimensions of scientific literacy were able to highlight depending on writing topic. As a result of critical thinking, emphasized in scientific writing; 254(79%) are of analysis, 86(27%) are of inference, 54(17%) are of evaluation, and 8(2.5%) are of uncritical cases. Once again the results have a bias. Scientific writing education has the potential to promote critical thinking because the various critical thinking skills high highlight depending on topic, writing type, form, supplementary materials, and the scientific literacy.

        중학생들의 전지구적 및 지역적 환경 문제 인식에 관한 연구

        This paper focused on examining the middle school students' perceptions of characteristics(personal knowledge, human responsibility, impact on personal life, and predicted trend, behavior will) of 10 global and 8 local environmental issues. Subjects(N=516) demonstrated by completing a survey that they perceived the characteristics of issues differently on global and local scales, and to a degree those characteristics are related. First, middle school students' perceptions of global and local environmental issues were above mid-point mainly, and perceptions of local environmental issues were higher than those of global environmental issues. At perceptions of characteristics, They perceived that the personal knowledge of global environmental issues were higher than those of local issues, that the human responsibility effects on global environmental issues more than local environmental issues, that global environmental issues in the future, will be more serious. For each environmental issues, the perception of global warming among the global issues was highest, the perception of yellow dust and air pollution among the local issues was highest. For perceptions of characteristics, behavior will to solve the environmental issues was lower than that of 4 characteristics(personal knowledge, human responsibility, impact on personal life, and predicted trend).         미술사를 활용한 초등 융합형 수업 사례 연구 - ‘동굴벽화 애니메이션’을 중심으로-

        For attempting to fusion with other subjects and to practice the art education from the point of view of the socio-cultural context in the age of knowledge fusion, the purpose of this study is application of converged class using the art history. I selected unit ‘animation’ in the fusion unit with sequence and integrity of the curriculum. Next, Using the art history of the “cave paintings as animation of origin”, I was constructed a class of this unit. It consists of 5 lessons fused with society, science, and art subjects, also includes activity to product the cave painting animation and activity to infer the origin of animation. Applying this teaching, each student variously reasoned about the cave paintings as the origin of animation. Therefore, confused class using art history, it was confirmed that there is a effect of Contextualism education. On the other hand, most of the students it was immature to implement the animation effect of mural. This suggests that it is necessary teaching strategy and learning training to lead to the successful artworks. 이 연구는 융합화 시대에 사회문화적 맥락 측면에서 미술 교육을 실천하고 타교과와의 융합을 시도하기 위한 방안으로, 미술사를 활용한 융합형 수업의 현장 적용 가능성을 알아보고자 한 것이다. 이에 따라 교육과정상 계열성과 통합성을 두루 갖춘 융합단원으로 ‘애니메이션’ 단원을 선정하고, ‘애니메이션 기원으로서 동굴벽화’의 미술사를활용하여 이 단원의 수업을 구성하였다. 미술사를 활용한 융합형 수업은 총 5차시의사회, 과학, 미술 교과가 융합되었으며, 애니메이션 기원을 추론하는 활동과 벽화 애니메이션을 제작하는 활동을 포함하였다. 이 수업을 적용한 결과 학생들은 다양한 내용으로 동굴벽화의 애니메이션 기원 가능성을 추론하였다. 이로부터 미술사를 활용한융합형 수업은 맥락주의적 교육효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 반면 대부분의 학생들이 벽화의 애니메이션 효과를 구현하는데 미숙하였는데, 이는 이론을 성공적인 제작으로까지 이끌어가도록 돕는 교수전략과 학습훈련이 필요함을 시사한다.

      • 중학교 생물 수업을 위한 Pop-up Book 제작 프로그램의 개발과 적용

        In this study, in order that students can understand structure and function of human body configurationally connecting contents of 'circulation-respiratory- excretion', develops studying data that utilize anatomical model of the human body Pop-up Book manufacture and applied this to class. So, I investigate what kind of influence a Pop-up Book manufacture lesson has on academic achievement and integrative understanding according to students' sex and cognitive level compared with a traditional lecture type lesson. Also, wished to execute realization investigation about artificial organs, organs reproduction, living body internal organ transplant and recognize middle school student's realization for human body. In this study, I used Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design method to 135 students of the 1st grade in middle school and controls group executes way class of the traditional lecture, and experiment group executed class that use Pop-up Book manufacture. Study unit "digestion and circulation" and "breath and excretion" to unit decide and taught over 8 hours, I used GALT unabridged edition examination to grasp students' cognitive level, and used academic achievement examination and realization examination for human body that investigator developed. The data of this study was analyzed with covariant analysis (ANCOVA) and frequency analysis by using the spss 11.0 program. The conclusion of this study are summarized as follows. First, The Pop-up Book manufacture lesson was effective than traditional lesson in improvement of academic achievement for both male and female students(P<01). By cognitive level, Pop-up Book manufacture lesson was effective to students of concrete operational period and transition period(P<.01), but it was no difference between two lesson methods to formal operational period students. Second, Pop-up Book manufacture class was effective in the integrative understanding side of circulation, breathing, excretion (P<.01). therefore, I could confirm that Pop-up Book manufacture lesson is effective to link simple concepts of units organically and to understand configurationally that. Third, I was expose that realization findings for human body, middle school students has realization which is positive about artificial organs, living body internal organ transplant but have realization which is contradictory for organs reproduction. This is the result of appearing by respect consciousness to students' human body organization and life when each contents of the question item classified by domain are compared.
